Cleanliness of room could have been better. Woke up to a few unfavorable centepeides and ants in bathroom

It was a nice motel. Hot tub was extremely hot. Was not working right. Pool area was small and not ventilated. Breakfeast was ok could have had more variety.

They were very disorganized and had to get our key cards redone 3 times. was told it was cause of cell phones but they weren't even by our cell phones. they changed our room on us cause of some excuse then our tv didn't work n they wanted to move us agian. it was not a pleasant stay at all. the pool area is really nice and clean though.

One odd thing about this location (maybe it was only odd to me, not sure) was that they run housekeeping in cycles. First they removed used towels in all of the rooms, then they removed linens, then they came back later to replace with clean towels & linens. Because we stayed for five days we opted out of the full cleaning on a few of the days. Best for the $$$ I have ever found Nice clean and welcoming from front desk - room - hallways- pool & breakfast Staff was friendly & helpful we have reserved the next 4 weekends at this location- visiting family & watching our house being built fits perfectly into our plans

This hotel was outdated and dirty. The showerhead was broken and the tub filthy. The bed linens were extremely worn and when I pulled the blankets back, there were hairs and dirt on the sheets. We booked 2 nights, but checked out after the first night and went elsewhere. I was extremely disappointed.

The pool was the size of a large bathtub, the mgmt patrolled the hotel looking for 'rule breakers' and was very rude. We were awakened the 1st morning by the maid knocking on the door asking for our dirty towels. She took them and did not provide replacements. When we went to the front desk to get replacements we got small thin pool towels as they said […] they had run out of the other towels. I would NEVER recommend this hotel to anyone. I went to Iowa to spend time with my son andgrandchildren. I got a hotel with a pool. The hotel would not let the kids swim. The owners were very rude. The day host spoke very little english and the breakfast was terrible.

The hotel itself was nice and I would stay there again because of that, however the staff was not as friendly and they also did not communicate very well. There was a 50.00 incidental fee that I wasn't told about until my check out that I was not happy about. Then the front desk clerk tried to argue with me about it when I told her I was not told that […] when I checked in. (She was very rude when I asked her to explain it to me since I wasn't told the night before.) she did not check me in so she was just going by what should have been normal procedure but was not in my case. We loved the hot tub as well as the queen size bed. It was near my husband's sister's house so it was the perfect location.

The hotel is right off the interstate. The rooms were clean. It is a older hotel,but clean. Didn't use the pool or spa.

we rented 5 rooms over the Thanksgiving holiday and there was a room between the 2 of the rooms we rented and the crowd in there parited all night til 4 the first night, then til 2:30 the next, my adult kids stayed in those two rooms and didn't complain, they didn't want to make trouble but you could hear them from upstairs rooms OURS! but we were so […] tired from the day we crashed. I understand it's no the hotels fault if no one complains to let them know, Other than that it was a decent stay, the pool was closed the night we pulled in, 8pm,. many of us bought our swim suits and never had a chance to swim,. the pool was open the next day but we were busy, They should know to have their place ready for guests and the immenities on the hoildays. 더 보기

If you're on Hwy 80 or 35, having a hellish ride and need to get off, this is a fine place. Clean, reasonable; nice and accommodating staff. It's on a strip with every commercial chain establishment, so there's no charm or anything distinguishing to the location, but you can get off the road and stay off. it was a mediocre hotel at best, the staff was nice and the room was clean. the pool was average, nothing spectacular, but the free breakfast was good. biggest complaint was the noise, there was a lot of loud people outside our room for a good majority of the night and it kept me from getting a good sleep.

Very nice for the money. Would stay there again.

We were looking for a hotel close to the Drake University Campus. We were also looking for a great deal! This was the second year we stayed here due to the above. We were looking for a clean bed & a nice shower and we had both!

This was not beautiful, but clean. Personel were helpful. Rooms were quiet. We would stay there again.

The only bad thing is that there were no elevators. It makes it hard on those making reservations and know that the room they reserved is on the ground floor. Other than that it was a good hotel.

Nice motel. We do about two or three nights in a motel a year. This motel was average to slightly above average quality for the price. The staff was very helpful.

It was a Cheap Hotel for the night . Just needed a bed to sleep it wasn't a bad hotel to stay at . They had breakfast an a pool so the kids could swim too .

Good hotel overall but needs a few more parking spaces

The Hotel was clean and the staff resonably friendly. My only complaints would be that there is a $6 per night surcharge for teens (12-17) that was not included in my quote from Hotels.com and that the A/C was not on when we entered our room so it was quite uncomforatable for about 2 hours. It is a reasonable room at a reasonable rate.

Stayed 3 nights with my husband and daughter over the 4th of July holiday. Room was very clean and daily service was excellent. Continental breakfast was good fresh waffles and rolls, cereal and toast items also available. Pool was clean and hours were great. Staff was very knowledgeable about events going on. This hotel was found on line for a quick place to sleep before more traveling the next day. We weren't expecting much but were very pleasantly surprised with the quality of the room, basic breakfast buffet and the pool for the price. We would definitely stay there again if necessary.

Room met expectations according to website and price. Friendly and courteous staff. Unfortunately we had a room above the on-site bar that was across the back of the hotel on the lower level. Fortunately, as long as the air conditioner ran it helped drown out the noise below. Definitely could not have slept with the windows open or air off. The stay was OK, an older motel, but adequate.

Our stay was very nice and the price was very resonable. Hotel is located very close to stores, restaurants, and entertainment. Nice stay for a resonable price.

The hotel was as expected for the low price. The room was clean as was the breakfast are. The entrance by the game room smelled smokey and musty, not very pleasant. the make your own waffles did not taste good.

The hotel was nice and seemed to be pretty clean. It's in a great location on Merle Hay and the hotel has a lot of great ammenities. The only complaint that I would have is that the "arcade room" is closed down far too early. It's understandable that the pool/spa area closes at 10p, but it didn't seem quite as appropriate for the arcade room to close […] so early. 더 보기

We were very disappointed in our stay in this hotel. First we called with questions and were met by a very rude individual on the phone and would not help us and told us to go on line to make a reservation. We did so booking a non-smoking room. We got to the hotel and checked in. I recognized the woman's voice as the rude woman on the phone and she […] was just as rude while checking in. We found our non-smoking room to smell of cigarette smoke and did not want to face the woman at the front desk again. The hot tub was so hot you couldn't stand to sit in it and was red as a lobster when you got out. Another party staying had already lodged a complaint about it but got no positive response about the complaint. While entering and exiting a the enterance closes to our room we found animal fecies right outside of the door. DISCUSTING!!! When we went to check out the same rude woman was at the front desk and again unwilling to be corgial during check out and take care of the fecies situation. 더 보기
