For the price of the hotel, you cannot beat it. It is a bit outdated, but the room was clean, the staff were very courteous and it was very spacious. The hotel is in a great location; I booked this for a wedding, but it is within walking distance to Colonial Williamsburg. I would definitely stay here again.

All rooms were noted online as having a microwave and refridg. Our room had neither, the room was cramped with 2 double beds and no other space and the beds were really uncomfortable. If you are looking for peace and quiet, the neighborhood is great and the price is cheap. But, if you are looking for comfort, this is not the place to stay.

Hotel is located close to campus of William and Mary. Allows pets and offers simple breakfast. Grounds and room were clean, but room and bath are small and old. No frig in room. All in all, would go back again.

Older hotel, but good value. Room was clean and hotel is in a good location for seeing the attractions around Williamsburg. Rooms are old, and have the normal wear/tear items that you would expect to see. They serve a normal continental breakfast. I have stayed here before and would gladly stay here again. It's within walking distance of Colonial Williamsburg (where parking can be difficult to find), and a short and easy drive to plenty of restaurants and shopping areas.

Maybe I am expecting too much? The room was lightly cleaned. Although there was no dust, there was soap scum on the shower curtain. Old TV, finicky hot/cold in the shower. NO privacy in the bathroom. I could hear people hanging up clothes in the adjoining room, and even hear the guy in the next bathroom rip a fart. Beds were OK, and service was fine. […] Lobby had an odd odor to it. Parking was horrible. Place filled up at night... Saw a lot of college-aged students with packs of beer. The parking lot was too tight to begin with, and then the extra traffic. I did NOT hear any parties tho... Did NOT have to deal with drunken rampagers. However, it is close to historic area.. 3/4 mile walk. And, having a pet, I was limited in my choices. The first room we were given looked like either the ceiling was repaired or the caulking was replaced but all the trash was left in the bathtub and the bathroom trash hadn't been taken out. Everything we wanted exceeded our expectations. We really wondered if this would be a bad experience because of the inexpensive cost of the room. Yet the hotel was close to all we wanted to see and do.

Other reviews seem accurate. Older hotel, but amazing location in close proximity to Wm & Mary and within a short hike to downtown Wmsbg attractions. Arrived last. Hotel was clean and staff was very helpful. Issue was that the lights behind the bed were not working and we were too tired to go ask for another room. Realised they were not plugged in. When I plugged them in I received a shock so determined not to use those lights. First off-this is an OLDER hotel and it definitely shows in the wear and tear of the rooms, etc. However, the service was great, the room was quiet and comfortable, the breakfast and coffee was adequate and it sutited our needs. Overall, for the price we paid, it was definitely a deal.

The rooms were clean but old, which for the price was great. However the beds were like sleeping on the floor! They were so hard we actually hurt when we woke.

Very good Hotel with helpful Staff. This was a very pleasant 3 night stay and it cost a fraction of the surrounding hotels. Good location for Historic Williamsburg and only a 15 min drive to Busch Gardens. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

This was a wonderful hotel!!!! We were just a couple of minutes drive from the heart of Colonial Williamsburg. The hotel was very clean and the staff was super friendly! We were there during the remodeling. We were in a room that had not been remodeled yet. The room was clean but definitely looked worn. The staff was nice and helpful. The wireless internet access was poor at the far end of the hotel. The breakfast time is over at 9:00 even on weekends so don't sleep in. before the midnight, this hotel located near the outlet, we could go there within 5min. but there are some smell in the room, maybe from the old carpet... I should spray perfume repeatedly

We were in Wmsburg for Black Friday shopping which started at 8:00 Thanksgiving night. We checked into our room, went shopping and got back to the room around 3:30 in the morning. We wished we could have stayed longer. The only complaint was the steps to the second floor were very steep and narrow. Other than that everything else was perfect.

At registration we were greeted in the lobby by a woman who turned out to be a real estate person trying to rope us into looking at condominiums. A polite no-thank-you wasn't quite enough. The hotel should not allow her to do business there. That is a big negative.

Good location for Tribe Football fans

This was one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. The place was dirty, bathroom had soap scum on the shower walls, the carpeting was disgusting.... old, ripped, dirty. I would NEVER have walked on it without shoes, didn't even want to walk on it with shoes. The bed was like sleeping on a rock . Very uncomfortable. My group chose Days Inn on Richmond Road in Williamsburg for the price and because it was relatively close to William & Mary which hosted our event. The price was very good for students, the hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating of our special requests. I would recommend this hotel especially if you need to accommodate a tight budget and […] require something in relative proximity to the college. Know a few things: cab service must be requested well ahead of your needs and cell phone service is spotty at best. This hotel was well located near Williamsburg sites but the property was somewhat run down. The pool was an unappealing green for the 4 days we were there. The hotel is in a great location. It is within walking distance to shops, restaurants, the College of William and Mary, and Colonial Williamsburg. Very close to Water Country, Busch Gardens and shopping centers. A good value for the money. Convenient, clean, and complimentary breakfast make this hotel a great choice for a family vacation.

place is a dump. cig. holes in bedding, broken chair at desk, bed feels like a buck board, had to listen to dogs barking all night, mold in the bathroom. IT was a great old, clean town with many things to see. and then there was this terrible hotel bringing down people property value!

It was clean, but a little old, and everything smelled like smoke, the towels, the room (even though it was non smoking) some people this wouldn't bother but we have allergies so by the end of our stay, we didn't feel good. The pool was gorgeous and well kept and the breakfast room too. If smoke smell was a non issue it would have been great!

$10 fee for pet but pet-friendly hotel. Beds are very firm and towels are not the softest. A few things in the room needed cosmetic work but everything worked and was pretty clean. Hotel is older but kept up well. The rooms were clean, but the beds were hard. The pool was open and clean. The breakfast was nice, even had make your own waffles! Hotels.com rate was great but we had to pay an upgrade charge if we wanted a fridge and microwave. Very pet friendly hotel :)
