Pleasant hotel. Fellt modern. For some maybe the bathroom was cramped. But I prefer more space outside. One of the most important things is the internet connection. And I have no complaints. An Enjoyable Experience... We really enjoyed our stay. We stayed to ourselves because we wanted privacy, quiet and comfort..... the hotel staff was there when needed . The wine bar just of the lobby offered excellent food and wine late in the evening. The location was excellent...everything was within walking distance. The hotel was great but no concierge so the people doing the checking are the ones helping the clients - a bit frustrating when you are there to check in after a long trip. The area is a hang out place for a young crowd but not far from the main sites to visit in Helsinki.

This was our 4th trip to my husband's home town of Helsinki, but the first time we decided to stay in the city and not with family. It was such a good decision because the hotel was AWESOME! I have stayed in several different hotels in Europe and this was the best by far. The breakfast is the best. The room was quiet and the elevators were always quick. The sauna was fantastic. Just remember if you havent ever stayed in a European hotel..that the rooms are not large and this is true of the Royal Blu...but it was very comfortable; had wifi; nice TV and even shows in English! The location of the hotel is perfect; the 3T tram (which is a nice touring tram ride) is just outside the hotel; bus stops are also very close; the train station is just a 10 minute walk; everything you want to see is within 10-15 min walk. everything is perfect during we stayed 4 nights. The room is very quiet, american size room, convenient traffic, excellent breakfast. just the house keeping had problems: when we checked in, we hadn't soap, pen etc. and one day we hadn't hand towel. I think that the housekeeping's training is not enough.
