Above all I have to commend the Hotel manager for employing a very nice staff. They couldn't do enough for me.And always with a smile. I would most likely stay there again.. From the Bell man Marcus to the Manager Jason. They were all very well trained and eager to make me happy. Thank You, Mycal M DynamicWoodwork Products,LLC Florida

THE HEAT AND AIR CONDICTION SYSTEM WAS VERY LOUD AND THEIR WAS NO WASH TOWELS WHEN I ARRIVED.

This hotel was great. Service with a smile every time. We were upgraded without asking. We were given complimentary breakfast chits by the concierge without asking - and they were most generous. The lobby was welcoming, relaxing and a great place to have breakfast, or an after-dinner drink. The location was perfect - we walked everywhere. Overall everything was great. I was impressed with the service and the outcome with the whatever whenever service. They were very helpful and timely. Had a great time staying at the W!

clean and love the location...

good stay, convenient location (just a short walk from 5th ave, 42nd st, central park and time square), room very clean but not so large, a little bit expensive. Anyway recommended for short but convenient stay.

We had a great time! The location can't be beat - walking distance from everywhere we wanted to be! Complimentary glass of champagne is a Very nice Touch!

The original "W" is starting to show its age, but still offers a great ambience and is very well located for exploring midtown and beyond. Our "wonderful" room was small, but comfortable - however, bathroom amenities were pretty basic and industrial, as they clearly dated to back to the original building - not per the "decadent" standard one would anticipate […] if familiar with other W hotels. We had problems with the room heating. We complained so they did move us and gave us a complimentary continental breakfast! Wich I think it is not enough. It was also kind of cramped! So no room to move around. But overall we payed for location! Would go there again if it maintains the same prices? If more expensive then no way!

A lively hotel, we arrived around 2 and were welcomed by music and champagne. The first room was next to the ice machine & lifts so quite noisy, but the receptionist kindly moved us to another room. The room was small but had everything needed. In the evening the main loby turned into a bar with loud music, which is different as I’ve never experienced […] this before. The only thing I did not like was the waitress in the bar, did not present me with a bill just said the amount and then asked how much change I wanted back. This I found very rude. If I am to leave a tip I will, but don’t need to be forced into it. I would stay at the hotel again but would not frequent that bar. 더 보기

Hotel was amazing and close to everything! Treated us special and made us feel welcome

The rooms were super small, the service below average, we had to wait for 1 hour to get or luggage picked up. And we could never speak to the manager

Stay away from 4th floor next to the spa - aim for floor 10. Much nicer looking - though rooms overall are very small (but it's New York, so to some degree expected).

Hotel is a dump, complained to Mngmt about room temp and they couldn't fix either. Like a sauna.

The hotel was in a great location and the staff were great. The room was small and one big disappoinment was that there was no bath tub. Otherwise, good.

I thought this hotel was excellent, the rooms were a bit small but that's common for NYC so I wasn't at all surprised by that. The overall vibe and look of the hotel was beautiful and the bars were great for an after/before dinner drink. W has a convenient location on Lexington Avenue and a welcoming "living room". We came back for a Second Time.

thumbs up to this hotel! accommodation, location, etc...not a single complain about this hotel! must come back again!

When I booked the room they didn't have one with a two double beds but they said I could reserve 2 roll away beds because we had 4 people in our group. When I got to the hotel at 4 pm, not only did I have to wait for 25 min. to check in because the service was so slow but my room wasn't ready & they told me I wasn't allowed 2 rollaway beds, only one! […] They told me someone would call me when my room was ready. I came back 3 hrs later to see if it was ready because I hadn't received a call yet. I tried talking to 4 different people concerning the rollaway beds & every person I talked to was rude & told me a different reason why I couldn't have 2 in my room. After all was said & done we did end up getting 2 beds...at 2 am!! The room was very small & not the cleanest...hair all over the bathroom & the carpet was filthy! The bed was comfy though. For how much they charge a night, those rooms should be immaculate! It was in a good part of town...easy walk to Time Sqaure, restaurants & bars. Great location, very knowledgeable staff and close to all transportation. We came here knowong the size of the rooms were small, but since we were always out it really didn't matter. The staff was very smart and always helpful. Great bar downstairs as well! Will definitely stay again!

for my 1st time in NYC it was a great time, the W hotel on Lexington is definitely meant for couples and friends..would not recommend this hotel for families with small children or elderly family members..my reason for this is because the lobby turns into a small club at night with a DJ and lots of drinking, also we stayed in the wonderful room which […] was definitely meant for a couple ( no shower door, frosted bathroom door, and a huge pic behind the bed of a woman's lower back maybe??? ) We had a great time at the W and would love to stay again...was walking distance from alot of attractions..I would recommend this hotel to only couples and their friends !!! 더 보기

lovely hotel, small but clean rooms, lobby nice with bar, but music way too loud, wish there was a coffee pot in the room.

GREAT HOTEL WITH A GREAT STAFF AND FUN PEOPLE CLOSE TO EVERYTHING

The concierge she was a woman and she didn't know anything of what we have asked. Their answers as we proof in the city about tips were mistaken. She recommended places telling us they are very well and it wasn't. The bathroom of the W hotel in Lexington were too small. Impossible to move comfortable in such smaller spaces

A wonderful stay. I would recommend to everyone. Location is great, and hotel staff extremely accomodating. Beds beyond comfortable!! We have stayed in many places in the City, and this is our favorite.

The hotel has good exterior and lobby but the rooms and interior is like two star hotels. the rooms and bathrooms are small and not clean.

Staff not friendly Room the size of a tuna can and I paid for a superior room, for a W hotel I was extremely disapointed

Great stay at a very convenient hotel at an affordable price. Rooms are smallish, cozy but comfortable and have an overall boutique feel with a very NY Vibe. Concierge staff was mixed, mostly very helpful but be sure to be persisent in what you are looking for or they tend to send you to places that do not take much effort on their part. Overpriced and very poor quality

The hotel was very clean and well appointed. Room was a tad small but it's New York and we expected it to be small. Easy walk to everything we wanted to do - shopping sightseeing was all close by. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent location. The hotel is surrounded by shopping and breakfast/dining options and all major sites are within a walking distance (at least for me). The location off Times Square is good, because it is more peaceful and there is space to move around w/o crowds. The Central Park is just 0.8mi away for those who enjoy running. Recently returned from a fantastic 3 nights stay at the W Hotel on lexington and could not have wished for more. The hotel is in the best location, close enough to walk to everything but with out the noise and bustle of being in times square. Very friendly staff, good location. Rooms were tight and a bit on the dark side. If rate on the stay is discounted, worth the stay, but not at full price compared with other similarly priced hotels. Free internet and gym access off sets some of the cost. Would recommend stay at a discounted price.

Nice place, but not worth the price. Rooms are very small and somewhat beat up. I expected a little bit more polish from this particular hotel chain. The location is indeed very convenient.

The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. My room was very clean. When the website lists the room is a "cozy queen", they mean small. My freshman dormroom was larger. Thankfully, I was alone on this trip. I cannot imagne more than one person being comfortable in such a small room. The W Hotel on Lexington and 48th is in a great location, but the very dimly-lit hallways, and more importantly, the extremely small, dark room, made us cross it off our list for the future. At this hotel the "cozy" room meant the person sleeping on the wall side of the bed had to duck and move with serpentine agility to get past the mounted flat screen […] TV at the left corner. Good thing my husband didn't have to get up during the night or he might have knocked himself out. There was also no lighting whatsoever near the full length mirror, serving little purpose to check one's appearance or put on make-up anywhere but in the tiny bathroom. Modern techno decor was also not at all our style. When our TV showed "no signal" and I called downstairs they patched me through to a foreign-sounding tech support person, (clearly not in the hotel and perhaps not even in the US) whom I could hear consulting with someone else. He finally came back and told me that his company did not service the hotel's Internet connection and that I should call the desk again and tell them to re-direct my call. Love the hotel, everyone was very nice, bed comfy. Only complaint was the room was very small, other than that, we totally enjoyed our stay, great location also, not to far from anything!!!

We were in NYC to attend a weding and were trying to nap in the afternoon. Hotel staff knocked or entered our room THREE times within 5 minutes. Thery also charged us for mini bar items we did not take. There are better hotels to stay in NYC.
