The only word of caution I would offer is to eat somewhere other than the hotel restaurant. We did find that the wait staff were not thrilled with English customers. However, the staff of the actual hotel were very friendly and helpful.

The personnel were very friendly. The hotel was very clean and in a good location. We would stay again.

My daughter became ill during our visit. When I called the front desk to inquire about room service, the staff arranged for a special clear broth not on the menu, and it arrived with a handwritten note wishing her a speedy recovery. Good value for its position across the road from rail station. Clean comfortable quiet with good bedding. Staff were polite and helpfull.As a seasoned traveller, it's one of the better hotels

The best of the group of hotel's right opposite the main station, forget the rest, go for this one. Rooms and all facilites were top notch, breakfast was not included, but I also could not find breakfast at any of the other biggies nearby being offered. Must be a Stuttgart sort of thing. The cost of breakfast was too expensive, you won't go hungry, […] plenty of stuff nearby. From the station, it it is undercover all the way, up the pedestrian escalator, and bang, the hotel is on the left. Garden frontage means peace and quiet. Fantastic loaction to main street and those department stores and Christmas Markets. This hotel chain, Altoff, had very high standards that will not disappoint. 더 보기

A very comfortable hotel, conveniently located and with great service. The room service meal was very tasty.

It is a very nice hotel near the central train station in Stuttgart. The stay was nice & I was very well received & treated nicely. Either you're visiting for business or vacation, it is a nice place to be.

Located right across from the Hauptbanhoff and right on the pedestrian street, the Althoff was in a perfect location and had wonderful service. My wife had sprained her ankle earlier that day, and the front desk sent up a bucket of crushed ice for her. Overall a wonderful stay with friendly helpful staff. It even has a 1 Michelin star restaurant (Zirbelstube) which has an excellent set lunch. It is conveniently located opposite the Stuttgart central train station, but is not terribly well signposted and may be a bit challenging to locate from the station. Just follow the signs for "Konigstrasse" […] NOT "Schlossgarten", exit the other side of the underground tunnel and turn first left to find the hotel. Only a short 2-3 minute walk. I made the mistake of following the signs to "Schlossgarten" and could not locate the hotel. The locals know it as Hotel am Schlossgarten and asking for the Althoff hotel did not help. Once there though, the hotel was wonderful and also great value. Highly recommended! 더 보기

Hotel was excellent. Very convenient to train station and surrounded by garden. Hotel staff was extremely helpful. I strongly recommend staying here if you are in the Stuttgart area.

I recently stayed in the Schlossgarten for four nights over Christmas, and the entire stay was delightful. Although the standard rooms are relatively small, they are of a decent size for European cities. The beds are very comfortable, as are the rest of the rooms with a comfortable armchair and footrest. The staff at the hotel were a delight: friendly, […] knowledgable, courteous and ready to help. The front desk staff was very unhelpful. Of the five hotels we stayed in on our vacation, this was the most expensive and the least helpful. In addition, the elevators were under construction so getting to the parking garage was very difficult. Our room was large but very out dated and there was an outrageous charge for wifi access. Great room, great staff. One night spent there was very restfull. A tad ex[pensive for the budget traveler, but you definitely get what you pay for.

It's been over 12 years since I was in Europe last so I really don't have a good point of comparison except US hotels. However, I found this hotel to be quite nice for a typical European hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My room was made up nicely each day and someone was there in the evening for a turn down. The room wasn't overly large […] but that is one of the things I remember from my previous trips to Europe. A nice feature was the towel warmer in the bathroom. The hotel is located in the center of Stuttgart directly across from the main train station and has convenient access to public transit. One area of complaint was wireless internet access. It costs a small fortune to use it. The fee was 12 Euros for 60 minutes. The hotel “business center” which was located under a stairway and was just a desktop computer and printer wasn’t much better. The fee there was .35 Euros a minute plus the cost of printing. I had previously purchased a one month account with T-Mobile so I just top my laptop to one of their hotpots. The hotel is directly accross the street from the Main station so location was perfect and the staff was super helpful and friendly. Very comfy beds, and great piano bar downstairs. Id stay there agin.

Hotellin sijainti on erittäin hyvä, alakerroksien aseman suuntaan oleviin huoneisiin kuuluu liikenteen äänet. Ravintolan palvelut ja hintataso alhainen, illalllismenu 25 euroa/henkilö. Ulkona oli erittäin mukava syödä, puistonäkymät. Parkkihallin tilat suuret. Hotelllin edessä erittäin vähän tilaa autoille, edes laukkojen pois nostamisen ajaksi.

Leider ist die Benützung des WLAN sehr teuer (Euro 8.00 für 1 Stunde).

Sehr guter Allgemeinzustand und -Aufenthalt . Leider sehr kurz, wir währen gerne länger geblieben, werden aber bei Gelegenheit wieder kommen !!!

Hotel ist absolut zu empfehlen. Positiv zu bewerten ist die Tatsache, dass man zwischen Frühstücksmöglichkeiten wählen kann (ggf. auch ohne Frühstück). Beim Frühstück mußten wir ein zu weich gekochtes Ei reklamieren. Reaktion darauf: professionelle und schnelle Umsetzung. Hier kommen wir gerne wieder hin.

Bei einem Hotel in dieser Preisklasse, sollten täglich frische Früchte auf dem Hotelzimmer standart sein. Zudem finde ich die Parkgebühren happig. Es sollten für Hotelgäste gar keine Parkgebühren anfallen. Und wenn schon gesagt wird, dass abends in der Hotelbar ein Pianospieler da ist, der spielt, sollte das auch so sein. Das Hotel wie auch das Zimmer waren sehr schön eingerichtet & der Service war gut. Das Personal sehr freundlich. Das Hotel ist sehr zentral gelegen. Leider hat das Zimmer sehr stark nach Rauch gerochen, obwohl wir ein Nichtraucherzimmer gebucht haben. Dies war unser einziger Kritikpunkt.

Das Hotel sowie das Frühstücksbuffet war sensationell ! Kann dieses Hotel nur weiterempfehlen. Einziger Minuspunkt: Wir hatten 2 Nichtraucher Zimmer bestellt. Eines war aber ein Raucherzimmer. Die Rezeption schickte sofort eine Reinigungskraft mit einem Raumspray, der den Geruch etwas erfrischte. Zudem kamen Sie uns mit dem Frühstück entgegen.

Die Freundlichkeit der Hotel - und Restaurantmitarbeiter, die hervorragende Lage des Hauses und die absolute Spitzenqualität der Zirbelstube lassen die Kleinheit der Zimmer vergessen. Die Zirbelstube hat innerhalb des Althoffkonzerns einen absoluten Spitzenplatz erreicht.

het hotel is bejaard maar luxe, het ontbijtbuffet is gewoon veel te duur, voor dat wat daar geleverd werd, is behoorlijk overtrokken totaal scheve verhouding prijs kwaliteit.een persoon eet nog niet voor deze prijs,niet doen!!!!

Habe mich dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Fand nur, dass man das Hotel noch weiter modernisieren sollte. Zimmer sind schön renoviert aber es fehlt der gleiche Schwung in der Hotelllobby z.B., auch die Zimmermöbel gehören erneuert.

Alles war toll!

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral, 2 min von Hbf. Die Zimmer sind grosszügig und gemütlich, sauber und gut eingerichtet, nur der Fernseher hat eine schlechte Qualität. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Sehr freundliches, sehr kompetentes Personal, Toplage - mehr kann man nicht verlangen.

das Hotel hat eine sehr gute Lage in der Nähe des Bahnhofs und direkt in der Stadt. Der Service ist sehr gut. Auch das Frühstücksbuffet ist reichhaltig und das Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ich hatte ein Einzelzimmer mit einem 1,40m großem Bett. Auch das Bad war geräumig.

Gut gefallen hat uns der hervorragende Service und die Freundlichkeit des Empfangspersonals. Die Empfehlung für ein italienisches Restaurant traf genau unseren Geschmack. Unser Zimmer war zwar renoviert, die Möbel waren aber trotzdem recht antiquiert. Die Fenster sind alt und nicht sehr schallisoliert, so dass ein permanenter Geräuschpegel von der mehrspurigen […] Strasse wahrnehmbar ist. Die Lage des Hotels unmittelbar ggü. dem Hauptbahnhof und am Anfang der Fußgängerzone ist ideal. EInen Abend haben wir in der Weinbar eine Kleinigkeit gegessen, auch hier hervoragender Service und gute Küche. Insgesamt : man ist bemüht dem Sterne-Status gerecht zu werden, dies täuscht aber über das Alter des Hauses und die eher punktuelle Erneuerung nicht hinweg.
