We only stayed there one night on the way back home. It was OK for a one night stay, but I don't think I would want to stay there an longer. The front desk staff seemed a bit preoccupied, and were more interested in their friends than us. The room itself was clean enough, but I was not impressed with the quality of the mattresses, no bugs or anything, […] but the mattresses had definitely seen better days and were rather saggy. 더 보기

Whilst the hotel was of a good enough standard it was not the best choice due to its remote location to experience the night life of Beale st ie the reason to be in Memphis!!- especially if one had to use public transport. The last bus to the hotels location was 23 .10 which meant I had to leave just as things were starting to heat up music/ entertainment […] wise. Further more the bus journey was over an hour in lenght and the bus drop off stop was extremely isolated and quite intimidating/ scarey at that time of night. If you are travelling with a car it would be a very good option. The people who run /work at the hotel were all pleasant and helpful. 더 보기

The hotel internet was down when I arrived but the desk person was very helpful and worked with me and Hotels.com to confirm my reservation. The desk person at checkout wasn't as customer service oriented as their coworker at midnight, but I would use that location again.

We checked in rather late, approximately 11:00pm. The lobby reeked of smoke so strongly I could not remain and to finish checking in. I had to go outside and a family member completed the check in.

Clearly well used hotel. Good for the price. It is a less expensive rate at the hotel in late February but the reserved room was worth the extra. Seemed clean but well worn.

Nice hotel but showing it's age. carpets need to be steam cleaned. other then that room was very clean staff was Great. I will stay there again next time in town. I would recomend this place to anyone looking for a good price for a good place to stay in Memphis.

I chose this motel because it was listed as pet friendly and I was traveling with my dog. They were extremely pet friendly! Thanks for making my and my dog's stay so good!

The towels are about the "scratchest" I have encountered. They really need to use softners in the wash water.

Don't be mislead by the renovations in 2005 description. It's old, it's dirty and it's not worth the money.

How far has this fine hotel chain fallen if this is not just one bad egg in the chain. We were expecting a simple but comfortable, clean and well maintained room. We were so disappointed in this stay that we scratched all night just from the thought of bed bugs in the place. There were lots of other hotels in this area and the price was good. I was just looking for a place to sleep to break up my trip. I upgraded to a business king so I had a lot of floor space and desk with work space. Water pressure in shower was fabulous!

The room was very nice and clean the restroom was clean, the only drawback in staying in the hotel again is I didn't get a good night sleep because the bed was very very hard and to low to the floor. I would recommend someone but I would let then know about the bed.

This was not what we expected. The room smelled and it was dirty but it was late and nothing we could do our other option was no better. I will say the guy at the front desk was very nice.

For the price I paid for staying six hours, you can say it was worth it. But any stay where u have to stay in the room longer, not worth it. spend a little mor and go elsewhere.

Was on okay hotel for the night for 2 people. We just needed it to get ready and to sleep. Be sure and bring your own iron if needing to have unwrinkled clothes. Location was convenient. It served its purpose. The bed was comfortable and it was a fairly clean room. A little run down and could use some TLC. But worth the money.

Hotel is conveniently located near I-40. Room was clean. Staff was not friendly at all and the beds were very uncomfortable. Pillows were paper thin and when I went down to the office to get more, there was no one there.

Toilet in room would not flush, so we were given another room. Air conditioner in that room would not work properly. Kids running up and down the corridor at night screaming. Not the hotels fault, but the parents fault. Could not get any sleep at this hotel.

confirmed handicapped room,conti. breakfast. none of this. traveling with another couple family. they had booked through hotel . com and I was assured the /red Roof same quality, hotel they had booked full. and was directly across street. the red roof over priced/ also the floor looked dirty. very diappointed, not what I expected....

The first room I was given had a few problems. 1) the door looked to have been kicked in, was hard to open, and didn't seem to shut easily. 2) The TV wouldn't turn on. 3) there was a dirty wash cloth hanging on the shower curtain rod. 4) the a/c wasn't working correctly. BUT, we were given a second room. This one was just fine.

Chairs, linens were dirty. Smelled of smoke in a "non smoking" room.

Hotel staff very courteous. Good location , Room was clean ,yet the Carpet in the room was HORRIBLE !! My sons walked on the carpet for a few minutes and the bottom of thier feet was Black!! I would think they could invest in a carpet steam cleaner. Other then that like i said Staff was Great place is nice room was clean other then the Carpet.

If you are looking for a place to sleep rather than a place to stay in your hotel room all day, this is perfect. It was on the cheaper side, on the cleaner side, and not too far from town. The hours I spent sleeping were delightful.

An OK hotel. Great location - restaurants, etc all around. EZ in and out of Memphis. Good price. Clean enough if you don't look too close. AC / Heat had broken vent and was poorly repaired. Desk Staff nice. It appeared clean, but pillows and matress were not in great shape. If you are travelling and just need to sleep, OK, otherwise, NO.

The hotel staff was very friendly. For the money this was a good hotel. All the hotels that I would rate better all cost $20 or more per night. I have no complaints.

The room was supposed to be non-smoking, after driving 8 hours I wasn't going to change it. The TV was only static on all channels. A plus is they allow dogs, and you can walk to cracker barrel it's next door. The staff seemed friendly for the short amount I saw them. The wallpaper was coming off as well.

Was not what I expected to find. The room and hotel were easy enough to find, but the lobby was dirty and the parking lot did not look very inviting at all. When I got into the room, there were ashed on the counters, a cigarette butt in the toilet, a large urine stain on the floor of the bathroom, the television didnt work, the alarm clock didnt work, […] there were ink stains on the sheets, the heat / AC unit was full or dirt and dust, there were holes in the walls where wires were comming out........ it was the worst hotel I have stayed in. If I hadnt been so tired when I arrived, I would have gone someone else. 더 보기

I was very well pleased with the service everyone was friendly and helpful. the room was clean . I would recommend it to my family . the only thing there was no micrro wave or coffee pot. over all i would stay again.

Clean and quiet. The rooms aren't much to look at, but pleasant enough and squeaky clean. What more do you need out of a HoJo?

This was a very pretty motel with a nice neighborhood. The staff was great and the room was clean. It was a bargain too! We loved it.

I WAS VERY SATISFIED WITH THIS HOTEL AND PLAN ON STAYING AGAIN. I GO TO MEMPHIS TWICE A MONTH TO VISIT A FRIEND AND HAVE STAYED AT DIFFERENT MOTELS BUT THIS ONE HAS BEEN THE BEST SO FAR AND I PLAN ON BEING BACK .

it was your, bare bones hotel, with no frills. Front desk service was good at check in and check out i was in and out in 5 mins. During my stay the wireless internet went out, and the front desk did not know what to do about it, they seemed to be a bit clueless.The rooms were also musty and the air conditioning was on its last legs.
