The hotel was difficult to find as it is located on a small side street. (behind the 25h Hotel). Once I finally found it the hotel didn't have the room I paid for so the downgraded me and still charged me the same rate. The room was clean and enough to meet my needs for the night.

Cheap choice if you have stuff to do in the so called cultural quarter of Frankfurt.Clean rooms,nice enough staff,decent and cheap breakfast around the corner at Wiener Cafe.Some good restaurant close by,mostly italian.

The hotel was excellent except the mattress was not comfortable and even the pillow could have been better. But on the whole having a kitchenette in the room, it was excellent.

I have stayed here multiple times and really like the place. For some reason this time my room and gnats and they were a constant for 10 days.

Easy to get into town on the tram, great value, good to be able to get a single room. Couldn't get the TV to tune in properly, but that's not why I stayed!

Hotel directions said it was an 8 minute walk. More like 8 miles. They charged 13€ for Internet and it didnt work at all in the room. When I checked in I asked for a non-smoking room and they gave me a smoking room and worse when I opened the door they hadn't even cleaned from the last guest!! The hotel advertises having air conditioning but t was only […] offered in a small number of the rooms. There was a lot of construction noise all over, they were working on 3 surrounding buildings so loudly you couldnt hear the tv let alone open the window. Stayed at the Golden Leaf for 6 days in June.Got a great deal on hotels.com. so was happy with the price i paid. Was happy enough with the hotel but the reception staff were a big letdown. The room i was given was large clean and comfortable . the small kitchen was a great idea. All the fitting table chairs etc, had seen better days but for the price […] i paid i could live with that. bathroom was ok but the u-band under the sink leaked every time you used the sink, the maintenance man came to fix it the first day but said he would need a plumber and would inform the hotel manager, but it was never fixed. Free Apples and Coffee in reception was delicious but 38 pence per minute to use the computer in reception is a joke. The Lady on reception was the only nice helpful person and she worked the evening shift, the rest were distant and not that friendly, Never said good morning dident seem to want to help at all.And the day i leaving i was given permission to keep the room until 2oc as i had a late flight, at midday i got a phone call from reception who wanted to know why i had not vacated the room yet, when i said i went down to reception that morning an got permission to keep the room until 2oc he asked me could i not leave any earlier,(the hotel was not even half full).as i said not great reception staff. The cleaning Staff did a great job the hotel was spotless. Frankfurt is a great place to stay lots to see and do and the people are very friendly. 더 보기

Beware of street parking: if you park outside the hotel on the sidewalk your car will be towed and it will cost you 190 Euros to get it out of the impound. In hindsight, the extra cost to park in the garage is worth it.

Hotel is moderate quality, room furnishing somewhat dated. Good breakfast price at 12 Euro, kids free (not included with our rate). Room clean, some light bulbs burnt out, mattress/pillows satisfactory. However, provided free kid's bed upon request, and kid's coloring books/pens as a surprise,

Nice hotel, decent surroundings, close to Tram and Underground stations with easy access to town centre and airport. Best part was the kitchenette in the room, alongwith a microwave and utensils...well done to whosoever thought of the idea!! The only drawback, no air conditioning/fans available, so it may get quite hot in summers.

The hotel is clean, efficient and with helpful and polite staff. Our room was certainly big enough to accommodate us as a couple with a child just under two. The kitchenette was also useful. For the price, the location is excellent, being close to a subway station in the city. It is close to and goes direct to main places like Konstablerwache and the […] zoo, although it does require a change to get to the Hauptbahnhof. That said, the Frankfurt subway is comfortable to use, even with lots of luggage, as we had with us. There are also cafes nearby for breakfast. (And as a traveller from Japan, I can thoroughly recommend the Japanese restaurant just round the corner). My single gripe in an otherwise glowing review is that WiFi is not free. It is 9 Euros for 24 hours access - steep for people who just want to check their mail/tourist info on their smartphones. A cheaper option (such as access time being actual time online rather than clock time) or simply being free would help. Overall a very nice, stress-free hotel. 더 보기

Everything was very good. The room was large and had a view looking towards the city skyline. Relavitely quiet. I booked this hotel because it had a small kitchen in each room, this was very good and helped to cut down on my costs. I had some difficulty using the washing machine and dryer - they need to have proper instructions in English and they need […] to regularly check that these appliances are actually working properly. The staff were pleasant enough. Although this hotel is outside of the city centre, it is easy to reach once you know how. I did my research in advance and was prepared once I got off my long flight at Frankfurt - I found the train, managed to get a ticket and it was easy to find the tram. Because of my research I also knew exactly where to get off - no problems. The hotel is an easy 20-25 minute walk into the centre of the town. A tram stop is close by and the train station is just a few minutes away as well. I would definitely stay here again if ever I am to return to Frankfurt, I got very good value for my money. 더 보기

I was extremely surprised with high quality service, accuracy, friendly atmosphere. Especially liked mini-kitchen in our room that was very useful with all minimal items for comfortable stay in hotel for persons with specific diet. Only point for continuous improvement in service could be adding more English language TV channels for foreign quests. I have stayed at this hotel 4 times in the past and liked it. The neighborhood is growing and GL will have some competition soon as other options are under construction. I think its time for some investment in a real gym, internet access that is not ala carte (17US is outrageous per day). Housekeeping needs to do a better job in cleaning. Golden Leaf was a bit out of the way but the nearby trolley made access to the downtown very easy. The mini-kitchen was a pleasant surprise. The hotel.com reviews did a good job of describing what to expect and how to find the hotel. Good value.

The Hotel is in a very convenient location where we can visit downtown Frankfurt with no problem.

Nearly impossible to find, even the locals didn't know the street name. The public internet in the lobby was supposedly broken but the rather expensive in-room wireless internet was available. The non-smoking room reeked of smoke, the bed sheets included.

It's a good Hotel for the price. Frandly staff. Not very far from airport and close to the center of the city. Public transportation within walking distance. However the night time was not very quiet with open window. Overall satisfied by my stay.

The room was small and the location is in the middle of nowhere. The sheets were not that clean and there were no ironing board or sheets.

Rooms were clean and modern and there was a full kitchen squeezed inside !

The hotel was very clean, and conveniently located half a block from a street train stop. However, there was no air conditioning in the hotel and it was quite hot and stuffy. Also beware, breakfast is NOT included (even if your hotels.com booking says it is) and it costs 12 Euro per person- more than a typical dinner!

Golden Leaf hotel is about 20 minutes drive to downtown Frankfurt and 20 minutes drive to the Airport. We had a very nice big room for a low price and the room has a big shower space and has a little "kitchen" bar with two burning stove and sink as well as coffee matching and tea pot. Easy access by tram 11 from Hauptbahnoff and the city center. Ddirect train S8 S9 connection from Ostbanhoff (5 minutes walk) to Airport. Quiet cul de sack of the main road. The neighborhood is rundown but going through redevelopment. Vacant lots are slated for new construction. In 3 or 4 years the hotel will be in an ideal location for business outside downtown Frankfrut. The hotel itself was under renovation when I arrived. Most rooms had no air conditioning which is a problem since the hotel gets the sun all afternoon, […] so the room is hot at night. The hotel did provide us with a fan but it was still very hot. The room itself was very clean and I loved the little kitchenette. There are two grocery stores near the hotel, so if you want to ecomomize you can purchase you groceries and cook on the hotplate. The hotel provides pots, pans, plates, cups, glasses and utencils. The minibar refregerator is small but can hold at least a days worth of small item groceries. Clean, comfortable, great location, tram just 2min walk away. Frankfurt centre only 10mins on the No.11 tram!! Really good value and friendly staff. A pleasant area, there are a few cafe bars nearby if you prefer to eat out and not in the hotel. Having said that, we checked in at the hotel at 10pm when the restaurant was closing and the staff kindly […] kept the restaurant open for us to have a meal, which we really appreciated at that time. Customer service was great, but the beds were very uncomfortable. My back was hurting for the two days we stayed in the hotel even with an extra blanket on the matress.

sehr geräuchvoll aufgrund der nahegelegenen Bahngleise, ansonsten alles perfekt.

Bodde i enkelrum, men trots det var rummet mycket rymligt med en hyggligt bred säng. I övrigt var personalen trevlig och rummet var jätte rent och snyggt. Lätt att hitta, med skyltar i omnejd.

Generalt godt. - MEN morgenmaden var under al kritik. Den pris man forlangte lå langt fra det man normalt får på tyske hoteller. Vi havde to overnatninger. For begge dage galt der det, at der ikke var ret meget at spise. Der var ingen smør, kun margarine. Man måtte rykke for at få kaffe. Juicen var i nogle beholdere, som man måtte tippe for at få noget […] ud.Den første morgen havde man mere travlt med at se formel 1 i fjersynet, frem for at betjenne gæsterne. Det var ikke fordi vi kom sent ned, den ene dag kom vi kl. 08.30 og den anden kl. 07.00. Morgenmaden var imellem kl. 06.30 og kl. 10.00. Da vi beklagede os i receptionen, tog de med det samme en klageseddel over restauranten frem hvor der i forvejen stod mange navne på tideligere gæster. Vi udfyldte vores klage.
