It was nice. Good for people with basic requirement. Even though a little far from dt, it is a clean hotel with nice bed. They even have a small kitchen with all sorts of dishes :)

The hotel was better than what I was expecting, loved the kitchenette and location. Easy to get around everywere, the rooms were pretty clean, overall satisfied.

It was a great stay. Good for families. Close to all tourists locations and eating places. Even a grocery store is right in front of the hotel. I would certainly recommend it.

We went a weekend in April and the heat was turned off. Froze all night. My husband and myself slept on the pull out couch, kids used double beds. I have never slept on a more unconfortable bed in all my life. Sleeping on the ground would have been preferable. The springs were digging into us all night, from our heads to our toes. The front desk are vey professional and provide excellent customer service.

Service was awful and everything was extra, like internet and coffee pouches in the room. However, the room itself looked okay, although the bathroom and kitchen left to be desired.

Great hotel for the price loacted in downtown montreal within walking distance of mant good restauramts bars amd clibs and the room was always clean when i returned. the pool was very small although but with all the attractions montreal has to offer it dosent matter much.

Pros: - Inexpensive -Clean -Professional Staff - Underground parking with in and out privileges Cons: - Furniture was dated and in some cases needed to be replaced due to rips in fabric. - Bathroom was in need of repairs (water seemed to be trapped under the floor of the bathtub creating a "bubbling" effect). This was by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The lobby was disgusting outside there was trash scattered everywhere. I had to hound the front desk to get my room cleaned which was disgusting upon arrival even after switching rooms it was still disgusting. Do yourself a favor and stay someplace else you'll thank me for it.

Inspite of the impression we got from its pictures, this hotel was mediocre at best, However, the parking garage was quite convienient, especially for smaller vehicles, and very secured. It is a central spot, staff is very friendly. the wifi only works in the bathroom ( dont bother to pay for it) I guess it was clean in a sense but not clean enough for me. the kitchen had everything to offer just dont look too closely. i am glad i didnt payed the full price.

La Tour Belvedere offers a small kitchen with refrigerator, a couch that pulls out to a queen bed, and a queen sized bed. It was comfortable, clean and close to the subway. We walked to the Art Museum and could walk to shopping and movie theatres. There were good restaurants nearby. My co worker and I found the room to warm even after turning the heat off. He has continuously nose bleeds. Window had to stay open most of the time. Found one of the front desk clerks not helpful at all when was asked questions. The penthouse area where the pool and what not is did not look look it was being cleaned on a regular basis. I had two rooms reserved for the 24th of December. The personel was very accomodating in giving us two rooms on the same floor and even upgrading one of them. The rooms were clean and personel very responsive to any requests. Would recommend the hotel, it is also well located.

The room smelled of cigarette smoke. The sofa bed was uncomfortable. There was a water leak in the bathroom ceiling. The carpet was stained. The swimming pool was very small, more like a bathtub.

We really enjoyed our stay at the belvedere last week. The location was very conveinent to all the local attractions and close to metro stations. The customer service was very helpful every time we asked for anything including directions, and even had no issues speaking english to us. Its definately a great place to stay and very cheap for downtown, […] and the price for underground parking was great too. The room could have used a bit of a new paint job and the balcony had duct tape on it, but it was still a great room and had a kitchen. This hotel is fairly priced and well within reach of the Atwater Metro and the AMC theatre. I truly love the comfortable beds and the lovely scenery of downtown Montreal. Also, each hotel room comes with it very own stove( nice for making that cup of midnight tea or food), Toaster, fridge and cutlery. I think that these amenities were a plus especially […] if you want to avoid those costly restaurant meals. As an added bonus, which you sometimes can find in high-end hotels was the fact that each hotel room had it's very own safe. That's right i said safe. If you wanted to lock away your valuables you can do so form the comfort of your room. I thought that the mere fact that the room has safe was very insightful and thoughtful. Thumbs up hotel staff and owner. For the value, this hotel is well priced and the staff is very friendly and bi-lingual. We had, frankly, low expectations but were delighted by what we found. Nicely appointed rooms, functional fully equipped kitchenette -- I've recommended it to friends and colleagues. I'm only writing this review because I think the hotel deserves it.

This was a really good hotel to stay at! It's in a great downtown location, with Old Montreal and the Gay Village only being a short 8-12 minute drive! I loved that there was the kitchen to cook as well. I saved a lot of money just cooking instead of eating out, and it was nice to have an evening drink on the balcony as well. There's even a grocery […] store 2 minutes away from the hotel, walking! The only thing I didn't like about this hotel was that I saw a few bugs in the kitchen drawer. It's not something that's uncommon in a large downtown building like this in any large city like Montreal, so please don't let this discourage you from staying at La Tour Belvedere! We staryed one night at this hotel on November 19, 2011. They only had one worker at th front desk so that made for long lineups. The room were dirty, old furniture, carpet , appliances and bathroom. Actually the bathroom shower was covered in cracks in the tub surround, which let water run into the wall. The bed and pull out couch was HARD. If you're fussy about the finishing in your room, don't stay at La Belvedere - our room needed paint and maintenance. However, our one-bedroom housekeeping unit was a good price and even had a balcony and had plenty of space. The kitchen was well equipped so this would be a good place if you plan to do your own cooking.
