DAYS INN BAR HARBOR - 바 하버

Room was very clean ,good breakfast , the best coffee so far ,good to stay there for weekend , and close to Acadia Park and Downtown Bar Harbor

It was a nice & very convenient place for a weekend stay. Small room but nice & breakfast which was served was very good. Close to Bar Harbor downtown & the Park.

our stay at the days inn in bar harbor was great. but the weather did not cooperate.

The rooms have exterior doors and are smaller rooms. Beds were OK. The only problem we had was the traffic noise from the road which starts about 5:30 a.m. They have a nice little breakfast, rolls, muffins, breads, but it is a very small breakfast room so we took our food back to the room.

The hotel is 1.5 miles from Bar Harbor village. We like to walk so it was the perfect distance. The hotel is also on the free bus line. The hotel itself was a good place to sleep. The furniture had been updated but the bathroom needed help. It was clean and a place to sleep after a long day of site seeing. If you are looking for luxury, forget it!

The hotel was convenient to where we wanted to be, but it was older, and had a musty smell in the room. Thank goodness we could open a window at night to get the wonderful ocean air. An adequate room for the money.

Good continental breakfast. comfortable clean bed. Toilet cloged twice- they listed the hotel as an ocen view- sure you can see the ocean across the street in the distance where the nice hotel occupies all the space- parking was terrible- luckily we had rented a small car.

The hotel is a good value for the price we paid. It is also conveniently located to both DT Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. You can almost leave your car at the hotel to get around.

There was a bed bug in the bathroom. The room had a very foul smell also.

Good value. A little bit of road noise and crowed breakfast area, but not a big deal. Would stay again.

Stayed 2 nights. Felt like home, yes the linens were dirty and old. Looks like it was not changed in last 4 years I bet. Just washed and reused (I hope). Close to where I wanted to go, thats all to it. New linens and pillow covers could go long way. Also clean all the junk in the steps , that stinks. The Days Inn was a great location and within Bar Harbor, ME. Good hotel for the price and location. The rooms were decent. The only issue I had was with the Continental Breakfast there were only 4 tables to sit and one was in use by a couple using their laptops.

Hotel in good location can get the explorer bus free at the Holiday Inn oposit Days Inn. Also can use facilities at the Holiday Inn. Whale Watch was exceptional. Been on two whale watches before but have never seen them so close.

Rooms were in need of repair. The bathroom tub mat was peeling off, flooring was separating from tub and the room smelled very musty. Staff was friendly and helpful. The first room smelled, moved up stairs. No smell but, the front door had paint peeling off. The (small) TV's remote control would't work. The second control worked sometimes at two feet away. I read the reviews before our trip, but didn't head the warnings. Drive Pass By This Hotel!

Obviously this motel is an older one, but it was clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It is close to the Park as well as downtown (just a short drive). I would recommend this motel if you want to do Bar Harbor at a reasonable rate.

if you do not have lots of money, this hotel is perfect.

Pretty satisfied but it misses some glasses for drink water. Confortable bed and a good continental breakfast. We like very much the area of Bar Harbor and the Acadia Park. Thank you for the good reception. L.C. & M.L. from Quebec.

This hotel is about $100 dollars overpriced and exists purely as a Bar Harbor overflow hotel for late reservations. The building is old and poorly maintained, no ventilation fans in bathroom, peeling paint on doors etc.

Days Inn Bar Harbor - it sounded reasonable enough and I was attending for a photography workshop and wouldn't be in my room too much so it shouldn't really matter anyway, right? Wrong. The wall-mounted AC was noisy, always seeming to turn back on just as I was about to fall asleep. Additionally, it constantly emitted a burnt smelled that clashed horribly […] with the mildew/moldy notes already in the room. Very nice little hotel. Great view of ocean, friendly & helpful staff. Parking, however, was difficult. Not enough room for all of the guest vehicles. Aside from that, a good place to stay and a descent price.

This motel was old and dated. We could not open the door of the first room we had and the second room, the toilet did not work right. Although clean, the motel was dated and worn out. The staff was polite but no too enthusiastic about their job. Would not stay here again.

Staff were friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable and linens were clean. BUT: We were not inspired to spend any time in the room. The room had a musty smell upon entering. The decor was dark and dated, and, voices were easily overheard outside our door in the evening. Upon registering, I was told to watch for double billing, as Days Inn […] did not work through a third party such as Hotels.com (which is how I registered and believed to have pre-paid). The registrar took an imprint of my credit card, leaving me wondering if Hotels.com and Days Inn would both be billing me. I will find out in a few weeks, I guess. In addition to all this, the motel was as expensive as the luxury resort we had previously stayed at. As I did not have my computer with me, I did not feel I could cancel my hotel booking without forfeiting my money. 더 보기

We checked in close to midnight and left the next day. The roomas are small and not well maintained. We stayed on he upper floor and was afraid to walk on the long porch walway which looked like it could collapse any time. The only positive was the helpful staff.

The staff were very helpful and while the exterior looked "tired" the rooms were quite nice and seemed to have been recently upgraded, The deck on the second floor balcony had a lot of rotting wood and actually felt quite dangerous. I would definitely request a first floor room if you go there. The facility calls itself "non smoking" yet there was a […] standing ashtray placed at the bottom of the stairs right outside the door to the breakfast room. Mostly staff seemed to use it. Never again. The rooms are small, worn, and smell terribly. The breakfast is awful, and if you like listening to water pipes rattling all night long, this is your place.

If you go there for the ocean view, you might be dissapointed. We did see the ocean, but we also saw the ferry's bid parking lot just in front of us. The cleanliness of the room was just acceptable, nothing more.

This place is horrible. You basically get what you pay for. Parking lot barely fits the amount of vehicles guests have. Breakfast area is a joke (so tiny), it's adjacent to the hotel lobby which was smaller than any hotel lobby I have ever seen, been to, you would think you were in Japan and not America. When they say ocean views, they're not lying, […] 'technically.' It's a deactivated port and parking lot, that's the real views. If you can pay a bit more, don't stay here. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was clean. Very old building but maintained well. No vent in the bathroom. Nice view of the ocean but sitting on the deck was not enjoyable because of all the traffic between you and the ocean.

The room smelled badly when we arrived. A mix of industrial cleaners and mildew. This was made worse by a foul smell from the air conditioning unit. Luckily we had a box fan and were able to get the room somewhat habitable. I don't know what we would have done if it had been a hot day. The Holiday Inn or Acadia Inn would have been a better choice.

Bar Harbor should be enjoyed in more than the "No Tell Motel" this hotel owned by the folks who own the Presidents favorite Bar Harbour retreat across the street. the Days Inn is an embarasment, it is a property which should be leveled for redevelopment not passing itself off as a Days Inn at over $$$ a night, no 30 year old furnature cobwebs and "old […] charm" really do not cut it, and neither does this place. I raised hell about this dump and they put us in the presidents favorite Bar Harbour retreat across the street at the same rate. no this days inn is just a cash grab from dumb tourists like me but this tourist barks. and does not rent by the hour. 더 보기

I would not recommend this hotel to a homeless person, If your on a tight budget and do not mind the fact that you have to use your shoulder to open the door, bugs in your room and the windows not closing all the way well then the view of the ocean from your 2nd floor room would be great! Run down . Badly needs updating.. Depressing place to stay. Would not recommend to anyone.

When we got there the window was open, which was very noisy. We closed it, and a few hours later the room smelled like mold and mildew. I would not recommend.
