Even though I booked my room through hotels.com, the hotel decided that it was OK to bill my personal credit card (the one for any incidentals) twice. So I was charged an additional $500 for my room.

Excellent room comfort with free wifi. I upgraded from a distinctive room to a cocooning suite which for me was much more welcoming than the trendy Terzo rooms. Colleagues seem to love the Terzo rooms with the fancy shower, but they are not my style. Old Quebec is a 30 minute cab ride. The service was great and food amazing, although the food was a bit expensive but worth it.

The hotel was comfortable and well run. The air conditioner went out one night but was fixed promptly the next day. The shuttle service to Old Quebec was timely and efficient. One time the shuttle was stuck in traffic and the hotel called me a taxi and paid for it. Bar prices a bit steep. A beer and a coke hit mid teen double digits. No complaints […] really. 더 보기

I feel neutral about our choice of Chateau Bonne Entente. It is located in a residential neighborhood, which was quite surprising. I would say that nothing compels me to choose it again. The bedroom was large but not distinctive. Couch needs replacing and the blinds are difficult to work if you want to open the crank-open windows (a great feature, though, […] being able to open windows for fresh air.) Chateau Bonne Entente är ett utmärkt hotell och personalen är mycket, mycket serviceminded, problemet är att hotellet ligger så långt från Quebec:s centrum. Jag hade inte riktigt förstått att det var så långt som det var, minst 10 km och att det krävdes att man förbokade hotellets courtesey shuttle, som inte gick så ofta, och inte alls sent på kvällen. Nu […] fungerade shuttlen ändå väl för oss,och det löste sig även med kvällsretur den ena kvällen, men hade jag bokat igen så hade jag trots allt valt ett hotell i centrum, det hade givit så mycket större frihet att utforska Quebec. Å andra sidan var poolområdet mycket bra och det var varmt och soligt, så poolen uppskattades, liksom fitness(gym( rummet, det var utmärkt. Totalt sett var vi trots avståndet till Quebec:s centrum mycket nöjda med vår vistelse och inte minst med Quebec, en härlig stad, underbar fransk atmosfär, en stad att promenera i, massor att se och upptäcka.
