Great hotel. So close to the convention center!

The room was clean, but the rooms are old and the staff was not helpful at all. Tried to give me a different room than what I booked. It is ok to give me a better room, but don't downgrade me. thanks for nothing.

Price per night was outragous. I experted gold for what I pay. Business office was accessable by Credit card. No Shuttle service. Resturants were over priced. Room was clean and show signs of age.

As a physical place, the hotel was fine and the staff was nice. But for the money one pays, it was insulting to be charged extra for in-room internet service. And when, on Sunday, when the in-house Starbucks is closed (dumb), they wanted to charge $2.00 for a cup of coffee from the dining room. The Loby was beautiful. The upstairs coridors needed to be updated. The elevators wouldn't work for a time and the valet services for your car is a joke. It was difficult to figure out how to get the car and then it took forever for the car to get brought up. Initially, they checked me into a room that was already occupied by someone else. Had to go all the way back down to the front from the 15th floor carrying our things to get a difference room. Hotel staff was apologetic, but still an inconvenience. Did not offer to compensate me in any way.

I go to Phoenix every year for a charity benefit - I always stay here. It's one block to the light rail, rooms are great, StarBucks in the lobby, super-friendly staff, within walking distance of everything - great place to stay.

I was not happy at ALL about the astronomical fee to use wi-fi. When I complained, they waived it, but charged me an outrageous fee TWICE because I used a calling card (whic should register zero) and they racked it up as a long distance call! They will nickel-and-dime you to death to see if they can get away with it! This is a beautiful hotel and perfect it you're going to a concert at US Airways Center. My only complaint was that they had just changed over from the Wyndham and did not have the kitchen or dining room properly set up. I had previously stayed here and eaten at the bar in the lobby, which was excellent. Due to the recent changeover in hotel, they did […] not offer the same meal options as the last time I was there. I used to live in phx so I knew where I was going, but when I was looking for the Windham Hotel, I couldnt find it, and email letting me know that the name of the hotel had changed would of been nice. The hotel was nice and so was the staff. The location was great as well. At checkout we asked the vallet for our car, and they couldnt find the keypod […] to our keyless start car, after 20 minutes my husband had to go to the garage to find the keypod. Exceptional service; attractive, comfortable rooms; great location......what else could you ask for ? It's a winner all the way around ! !

This hotel is a great location if you need to be downtown. Very reasonable prices and fully equipped. But the best they have to offer is their staff. They are friendly and always ready to assist. I can't say enough about how impressed I was with every single person there.

For as much as they charge. I would not stay here. Another night. Nor, am I going to recommend this hotel to anyone. This is NOT A wyndham quality hotel. My room was covered well to hide its age. Signs of water damage are visible. Our bed was VERY uncomfortable . The wall where so thin I could here every conversation around our room. Top bottom and […] both sides including the hallway. Oh and they don't even tell you about the $19 vallet only parking per night. Until I read it in on the information packet. The view from my room was an old building and nothing else. Oh the $15 breakfast buffet ... Save your money it's not worth it at all. The only good thing about this hotel is the location in downtown and the VERY nice staff from the lady checking us in . To the vallet at check in to the old man who helped us load our car and the vallet who picked up our car and handed it to us. And the man waiting on our breakfast table .If it wasn't for great customer service I would have given this hotel a ONE half STAR. Ah and starbucks located in the hotel is closed on Sundays. And to the lady in the store. Who made me purchase an item to break a $20 to give a split tip to the vallet guys, . Shame on you. This is the only hotel I have been in that does not have a coffee maker. They also charge 23 dollars a day for parking. Given, that the hotel is located in Phoenix, AZ and not downtown San Diego or NYC this is unacceptable.

This is my second stay at a Wyndham hotel. My first was for my high school reunion in Andover Mass. This stay in Phoenix was for the ASCP convention. Both hotels exhibited a warmth and hospitality that one can actually feel. Well suited for academia and family Dr. Pam

It has a great central location for all downtown events. the staff were courteous and the hotel was clean and up to date.

I stayed in this hotel for 4 nights and I really enjoyed my stay. Rooms are very clean and modern, and seemed they were all renovated recently. I really liked the buffet breakfast, although it was a bit expensive. My only complaint which was really minor, was that I could here all the conversations from my neighbor room, and I'm guessing that they […] could also hear mine. This was a nice hotel with friendly staff. They are very close to the convention center and nice restaurants downtown. Cheaper than most of the alternatives and maybe a little older - but maintained well.

This hotel is great because of the convenience of its surroundings. It is in the heart of downtown - easy walking distance to many restaurants, bars, and venues. The hotel seemed nice, but if you looked closely you can tell it is an old hotel that has tried the "fresh coat of paint" approach. The wall paper was peeling in the bathroom, outlets didn't […] work, and the room was pretty small. Our outside view was of an old, vacant, run-down building that looked like it was haunted. Our stay at the Wyndham was outstanding. The hotel, bar and restaurant was clean friendly and convenient. The location was superb for all downtown activities.

The Wymdham is a very nice hotel with a pleasant staff. Rooms were clean and beds comfortable. My only complaint is with the valet parking. First parking is $23 and no other choices are offered. Second, the car was returned with a dent and paint transfer, seats and mirrors were out of adjustment, and the valet staff tried as hard as possible to ignore […] the situation. Hotel was amazing. Staff was very friendly and helpful. All of them had a smile and were more than willing to assist. The location of the hotel was perfect and well within walking distance (approx 4 blocks) from the Diamondbacks ball park and Skywest was even closer. Can even take light rail to and from the airport to the hotel. Room was a junior suite. […] Very comfortable and lots of room to spread out. Lots of food options outside the hotel. The hotel is nice and the exercise room is adequete. Our room was clean and modern. The pool is small and was not very clean. The pool only gets sun between 8-12 in the morning, so you really can't sunbathe. The pool was pretty dirty and the chairs/lounges old and stained. There isn't any pool side service at all.

Staff was great. Hotel showing it's age. First room reeked of cigarette smoke even though this is a non-smoking hotel. Moved to another room that was fine. Icemaker on our floor did not work. Won't stay there next year.

The quailty of thier rooms are comparable to a Motel 6. Lobby is nice but would not go back.

This hotel is in the perfect location if you are going to see a baseball or basketball game (not to sure where the other sports are played). It is a old hotel that has been renovated and they did a very good job. The town of Phoenix is not a lively town on the weekend, unless there is a game going on, so being close was a bonus since there are a number […] of restaurants located in the area for the sports crowd. 더 보기
