The staff was vwery nice. The breakfast was okay.

Carpet was sticky, toilet was plugged, there was potato chips beside the night stand where the vacuum couldn't fit into visible from across the room! I was do tired I just brushed my teeth and didn't notice anything until the next morning, gross.

If the toilet is plugged, cleaning crew must have seen it and the carpet felt like it had been sprayed with something that definitaly left a residue. After a 20 hour day I just shut the door and jumped into bed and realized the next morning how gross it was.

This hotel served it's purpose. I got a good nights rest with no problems! I would stay there again if I was in the area.

The Days Inn hotel on Chester St. in Gastonia N.C., was one of the most comfortable hotels I have ever stayed in. The Receptionist's and Housing-Keeping staff take their job's very seriously and are more than willing to make sure that you have a wonderful stay. The room's that I personally saw are kept very clean and orderly, as well as the hallways, […] walkways and parking lot. Overall the Days Inn is a very clean and comfortable place to stay. The only positive to the whole experiance was the housekeeper Angie who was very nice, friendly and seemed to take pride in her work. The front desk people were not nice at all. Also, it seems to be a residential hotel - lots of cars with NC plates. Our room was supposed to be non-smoking but guess what - the room next to ours (with adjoining door) […] was a smoking room so we had the pleasure of breathing all of their smoke. Terrible, terrible, terrible. - DO NOT STAY unless you don't care about your comfort or your safety. (Oh, I forgot to mention that the sliding door to the balcony would not shut - they did have a metal bar to keep the door closed but there was still a gap between the door and the frame 더 보기

Not bad for the price. I would stay here again. parking with my truck was a pain in the azz. Other than that it was a great stay.

My room smelled of BO. It took 2 seconds to identify the culprit was the bed spread. I removed it and put it on the floor thinking someone would exchange it...nope, they just put it back on!

Good hotel, cheap, booked solid, so must be good, good for the price!

Good service, polite staff. Very convenient on I-85. Continental breakfast quite satisfactory.Hotels.com came through for us.

This place was a dump...@ 2:40AM screaming as a fight break out between a couple...not a good neighborhood ...obviously this is not a place for a business traveler looking for a good nights sleep...

great hotel, staff, awesome room for the price!

Upon arriving to check in, I was met behind a glass partition which made me slightly hesitant in staying. Clerk didn't say much. I found it hard to find unit from parking lot and had to get out of car to park close to where I was staying. Smelled and looked like an old hotel. Remodeling job in bathroom looked shotty. On the bright side, room was equipped […] with fridge and microwave. Checked bed under sheets and found the usual hair and debris but no bugs, thankfully. Due to the location, I heard sirens and the guest coming in and out all night so I only slept a few hours. I cannot complain too much because it didnt cost much. Hopefully, they will make it more pleasant for future guest. 더 보기

It is what ou would expect for a budget hotel. Nothing more. Nothing less.

This is a new stay for the money if you can overlook the service. Upon arriving, I was told that though I had paid in advance, I could not stay unless I gave them all the information from my driver's license. I'm accustomed to filling out a registration form asking for my home address and my vehicle license plate number. However, I have never been asked […] for a driver's license as a per-requisite to staying in a motel. They wanted my birthdate and all the information contained on the license. When I stated they had already accepted my full payment for the room, they informed me that I had paid Hotels.com and NOT them. The fact that I was presenting a photo ID credit card, and the same one with which I had paid for the room, did not matter to them. Had I not been in a hurry I would have canceled and stayed elsewhere. Despite it's convenience, I'll likely not stay at this hotel because the way they treat their guests, or at least the way they treated me. The accommodations are quite acceptable for the money but it's no first class hotel, either. 더 보기

Older motel. Generally run down condition. My vehicle hit in parking lot, naturally no one left a note... I had to argue with motel management to contact police. I will never stay there again.

the room was clean but half the lights in the room, including bathroom did not work...so you had to get dressed (make up/hair) in hallway cause bathroom was sooooo dim...but if youre on a budget, its fine...plus they allow pets for just an extra $10.00 a day...hotel staff very friendly!!!!!!!!!!

This was awful the first room they sent us too was not even clean, the second room we had to walk down a hallway where we could hear two people having sex loudly inside a room and I've got my 10 y/o and 5 y/o sons with me. I had to push them down the hall. Then the room smelled of heavy cleaners and the shower leaked down the wall. Lights did not work […] and some had no bulbs in them. I was not going to the pool I was afraid too.I will never stay at a Days Inn again. 더 보기

Overall stay was okay. Night staff not very friendly, but room was clean and comfortable which was more important to us.

Great location. Reserved Non-Smoking rooms, but the hallway and one of the rooms smelled like cigarette smoke. Also, the continental breakfast was extremely skimpy by any standards. I would look for a different hotel next time I am in this area.

When we checked in, we were sent to a room outside the main hall just up the stairs so of course it was freezing and to make matters worse, the heating in the room didn't work. We were moved to another room with a functioning heater that had an annoying faucet drip in the bathroom, little toilet paper left on either roll, and truly terrible lighting. […] The complementary breakfast was disappointing to say the least where the freshest thing you could partake in was a banana. Employees would smoke close to the doors and there was trash in the hall which they would walk right by. In the lobby they busied themselves with the television and would allow the phone to ring and ring - nevermind there might have been a guest on the other end. I would never suggest this hotel to anyone and would instead tell them to avoid it at all costs. 더 보기

The room was great. Nice bed,quiet. The ice machine on the second floor didn't work, the clerk said it froze up the night before. There was an ice machine on first floor. There was no conditioner with the shampoo sample.

Hotel and staff were great! Much better than I expected based on cost/ two star rating. Room was nice, clean, had fridge, microwave & great cable tv channels. Only issue for me is that some of the 1st floor rooms have sliding glass doors to the outside. I was concerned about safety but didnt have any problems. I liked the partially heightened ceiling in the room, gave a real sense of more space. The balconey overlooking the pool was nice. Thin walls, maybe, we think our neighbors must be newly-weds....

The staff was great we had a problem with the tv and they took care of right away

we entered the room to check everything out, toilet seat was rocky(patchowork til the next morning) did receive a new toilet the next day(manager jumped it) room average(was not moving in) so didn't expect much, one of the locks was broke on the sliding glass doors(patchwork) telephone socket was hanging on the wall, room clean, pool clean, staff nice, […] complimentary breakfast was fine. other guest were very nice and inviting(southern hospitality). overall an average place to stay. i would stay again, was close to my relatives i was visiting. 더 보기

It is a batter hotel then we expacted nice restaurants pancake house next door.New bading,carpet,ref & microwave,internet many moor for money we paid.

the price is right great money saver. Needs better signs for location of hotel people can pass the entrance if not knowing where to turn. Hotel service and cleaning service both was great each day

Nice clean room.easy to find rignt of the exit.All kind food less then 4 mile.Worth of rate we paid.I can go on -----

The hallway smelled, air conditioner very noisy, if it worked. Bathroom had a pile of hair stuck on the shower wall, when told the front desk about it all I got was there is noone here from housekeeping. Had to clean it ourselves. Was offered another room, but by then we had unpacked and set up everything our way. The new room probly would not have […] been much better. Other guests were complaining too. Shower had a gob of hair on the wall, called front desk and was told housekeeping left and nothing they could do, offered a different room, air conditioner didn't work right would cool off and then stop blowing cool air and it would get really warm. it was also very very noisy. Beds were hard, housekeeping would collect towels, come back, clean room […] and still no towels, then those would finaly come back after the washed them hours later. This hotel needed some maintenance but for the price that we paid it was adequate. Being in another state, it would have been nice if the room had a television guide.
