LOVED the breakfast! AMAZING! And the fitness area was great too. It's really the small things that matter and they consider everything. Check out is at noon, complimentary headphones for fitness area...it was just GREAT!

We were all very pleased with our accomadations at this hotel. Would definately stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay.The rooms were very comfortable and roomy. I am very picky about where I stay so trust me you will enjoy how clean these rooms are. The complimentary breakfast was excellent. They offered such a variety of choices. I will always stay here when I am in Wilmington Delaware.

We stayed at the Homewood Suites in Wilmington Brandywine Valley, Delaware and found the hotel to be spotless, spacious and very comfortable. First, the location: Homewood Suites Wilmington is located in the midst of a sea of shopping malls and chain restaurants, and Delaware has no state sales tax. So if you want to do a lot of shopping, dine in restaurants with comfortably familiar brands, even take in a movie, this is the place to stay. There is one "mall" that is nothing but restaurants […] (Red Lobster, Famous Dave's, Friday's, Lone Star) and it's right next door (walking distance) to the hotel. If you enjoy museums, history and gardens, there are many lovely museums and museum/estates (Winterthur, Nemours, etc) in the Wilmington area. Plus, you're only a short drive from the Chadds Ford/Kennett Square area of Pennsylvania, so Longwood Gardens, the Brandywine Battlefield and Brandywine River Museum are nearby. The hotel is very well-maintained, with excellent customer service. My suite was huge, and the kitchen was fully appointed and supplied - there was even a dishwasher. TVs worked fine. One of my pet peeves about hotel rooms is that the drapes often don't quite meet, but here they did with no problem. The free breakfast buffet was the average offering, although I must say that the scrambled eggs weren't as soggy as in most buffets, the toaster did an excellent and even job, and the bacon was outstanding - sliced very thinly and nicely crisp. The coffee could have been stronger, but it was always fresh and tasted good. Now for the few negatives: Hilton, you need to put new mattresses on the beds in suite 313, they've developed hills and valleys. And do something about the water pressure in the shower. My family and I were extremely satisified with the accommodations at the Homewood Suites in Wilmington. The hotel is in top shape, it is very well maintained and all amenities in the rooms work very well. Also the beds were very comfortable which is very important. Close to the shopping and I-95, we had a very comfortable stay at Homewood Suites. The two bedroom was spacious and comfortable with 2 bathrooms and a comfortable living area. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. Great stay!

can not say enough great things about your hotel. we will definately stay there again when traveling to see my daughter going to Delaware Tech College. p.s. thanks for the chocolates, popcorn and terrific complementary breakfast.

Very clean hotel with big rooms (suites). I like. Decent cont. breakfast.

I couldn't believe I was in a hotel room. It looked more like a condo. It was very comfortable with all the amenities of home. All it needed was a DVD player. The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. This was the best stay I've ever had!

We were really surprised with the quality of this hotel. We stayed for a weekend vacation. The suite was large and spacious with a fully equipped kitchen (refrigerator, electric cook-top, sink, disposal, dish washer), plates, utensils, pots, pans, cooking utensils. We didn't use these, but would be great for someone staying there long-term. The living […] room was spacious and functional for two. The bedroom was nicely sized and the bathroom, why not luxurious, was clean and in excellent repair. The breakfast room off the lobby was beautiful and the breakfast selection varied on the two morning we ate there. The location, north of the city, was convenient. There are four chain restaurants (TGIF, Famous Dave's, Olive Garden, Red Lobster) within easy walking range. Only slight problem, the only elevators are in the middle of the hotel which has two long wings off the lobby. If you want to enter the hotel through the side entrances, there are only stairs for the 4-story hotel. Cannot speak about the fitness room (it looks well equipped and clean) or the swimming pool (closed this time of year). Would definitely use again when in Wilmington.
