스카이시티 호텔 (Skycity Hotel) - 오클랜드

좋은 위치, 친절한 직원이 만족 스럽습니다. 카지노가 이층에 있어 약간의 혼잡 스러뭄이 있습니다. 바다의 전망이 보이는 방이 몇 안되어 특별히 부탁하시면 가능할 수도 있습니다.

위치도 좋고 깔끔하면서 아이에 대한 추가요금이 없어서 좋았다. 뉴질랜드의 모든 호텔은 한국호텔과 비교하면 안된다. 외관은 하지만 내부는 참 깨끗하고 좋았고 관광안내소가 있는 것도 너무 좋았다. 스카이타워라는 관광지에서 잔다는 기분도 남달랐다.

아내와 학생때 로망? 이었던 곳이라 고민없이 예약을 했으나.... 지금 뉴질랜드 시내가 어딜가든 그렇듯... 공사중이라 꾀나 산만함... 비교적 시티 초기의 건물이라 낮은 층수는 좋은 뷰를 보장받기 어려움. 하지만 조식 포함이라면 강추... 타워 뷰에 올라가 시내를 내려다 보며 아침을 맞이한다면... 모든 단점이 상쇄됨....

객실이 환상적이었어요!! 샴페인, 과일과 비누, 마사지 오일 - 무료 증정품들은 멋지고 뜻밖이었어요!!! 고마워요. 근사한 시간이었어요. 경탄할만한 객실과 전망. 호텔 안에 식당, 카지노, 술집과 주차가 마련되어 있어 특히 더 편리했답니다……. 전혀 호텔을 벗어날 필요가 없어요. 개조 공사 때문에 유감이에요. 스파, 수영장 등을 이용할 수 없었지만 그래도 길 건너 Sky Grand에서 이용할 수 있었어요!! 그 점만 제외한다면 물론 또 가겠어요!!

저는 작년 스카이 시티 그랜드 호텔에서 묵었어요. 올해는 스카이 시티 호텔에 묵었죠(둘은 길을 마주보고 있어요. 저희가 스카이 시티 호텔에 도착했을 때 제 배우자는 호텔의 붐비는 인적과 관광지 같은 분위기에 기분이 상했어요. 저는 이곳을 라스베이거스 호텔에 비유를 했고 가끔 관광지 같은 느낌도 즐기라고 했어요. (반대로 '비즈니스'스러운 분위기를 선호하는 분들께 말씀드리자면 그랜드 호텔은 이와 전혀 달라요.) 저희는 부활절 주말동안 묵었기 때문에 당연히 호텔이 분주했게죠. 그런데 제 배우자의 신용카드가 프런트에서 안 읽히는 거예요. (저희는 호텔비용을 선불했거든요.) 이것 때문에 저희가 지낸 내내 모든 걸 힘들게 만들었어요 […] - 저희는 $500 보증금을 내야 했고, 제 배우자는 체크인과 체크아웃 할 때 그의 여권을 보여줘야 했고, 룸서비스를 주문했을 때 로비로 내려가서 현금을 인출해야 했어요(그리고 자동 현금 지급기에서 수수료를 물어야 하면서). 왜냐하면 $500 보증금을 냈는데도 저희 객실에 요금이 부과되지 않는 거예요! 이런 점들이 성가셨고 저희가 익숙한 수준에 못 미쳤어요. 또 다른 점들, 가령 더러운 베갯잇이 저희 객실에 무더기로 놔뒀던 점과 공사를 토요일과 화요일에 8:45am에 시작한 점 등이 저희가 겪은 최상은 아님을 증명합니다. 위치 좋고 여흥도 괜찮지만 다른 곳에 묵으면서 스카이 타워에 가볼 것을 권합니다. 더 보기

Great hotel in Aucland cant go wrong

We got upgraded to a suite which was great. Nice big room with two queen beds, plenty of space. The view was average. Can't beat the location in the middle of the city. Room was great clean condition.

Dont stay here unless you get a good deal. This hotel is 2 blocks away from queens street. There are a number of hotels closer to queens street which is the main attraction point. This hotel has the sky tower and they charge you a bomb just for the name SKYHOTEL. The room service was ugly. They would charge a minimum $5 for anything you ask for. I wanted […] a knife and they said the knife is for free but we charge $5 DELIVERY CHARGE to deliver it to your room. Asked if I can come and collect it they said no. Same happened for the extra pack of creamer I wanted for my coffee. They say that only 1 pack of milk comes free with the room irrespective of the number of nights you stay with us. Very good place to stay . It is under the sky tower . The decoration is wonderful ; the casino is very splendid . But unfortunately the service is not good enough . The assistant didn't satisfy your need , even though she promised to .

We stayed in a twin room (two double beds) that was comfortable and plenty big enough. However, the bathroom was not as nice as it could have been. The grout in the tiles around the bath needed a clean and there was a perpetual smell of urine coming from the toilet. The staff were all very friendly.

A very pleasant stay, quiet and relaxing and close to all city shopping, dining, entertainment. The only drawback is their restaurants are a little expensive except for Rebo.

Great service, very accomodating and overall a very enjoyable experience. Great place to stay for a break and a wow pleaser for all oversees visitors.

Had a great time at this place. Stayed for 2 weeks and they treated me like a princess. Anytime I needed something 2 mins later they would bring It to my room no matter the request. Very friendly staff and the lady that cleaned my room went out of her way daily to make my life at ease. Thank you so much for everything! We arrived late and very tired after a 25 hour journey and when I apologized to the young member of the concierge staff who took our luggage to the room for not having any NZ change to tip him with, he replied "not to worry sir it is a privelege to serve you". This was refreshing to hear. The Hotel is within walking distance of Queen Street shops and […] the harbour ferries, amongst other attractions. However, one drawback to this being such a lively spot and our room being on a lower floor was that we had to endure loud music blaring from a pub across the street one night. Guests are entitled to a 2 for 1 ticket to the Sky Ciy Tower. We had to ask however, as this didn't seem to be advertised. 더 보기

Fabulous, fun hotel with the Sky Tower. Has amazing views, large casino, dance clubs, specialty bars yet elegant and clean. Have already referred all friends and family.

This hotel is perfectly located - absolutely central and near good restaurants and attractions. Everything is either walking distance or easy to get to. The service was exceptional, and they even loaned us umbrellas when it started raining. The only downside is that you only get 30 minutes of internet before you have to pay.

the sky city is run down and a low grade hotel. great location. the sky city grand is alot better.

Great place just rather noisey as the french team were celebrating their win

My boyfriend and I were on a 2 week vacation to attend Rugby World Cup games (go USA!) and see the beauty of New Zealand. We first stayed in a backpackers in Wellington and chose the SkyCity Hotel for the luxury. We received it, even in the hubbub and crowds of the World Cup. Despite being asked 2 too many times if we were guests of the hotel by the […] front desk (there were LOTS of non-guests around), we were treated like 5 star guests the whole stay, included being walked to the elevators. Excellent hotel in Auckland's Landmark Sky City Tower. Right in the CBD with a casino attached but great sized rooms with some great views across the city. Typical 5 star hotel with all the facilities. Only problem is that you don't have wifi in the rooms - it's only in the foyer. Alternatively you have to log in in the rooms. the biggest problem is the way they charge for Internet - they take a $29 charge for 100M - that is enough for one skype call - after a few hours they charge you by quotas of $29 for each additional 100M if you need to work you end up paying hundreds of dollars for your stay. better buy yourself a 3-4G card... otherwise very nice hotel - good restaurant […] choices in and out, casino if you like these things and walking distance to anywhere 더 보기

Great Hotel, clean room, quit, gambling downstairs if you are into it. Great location, staff, and room. I highly recommend staying there. I would stay again next time I go to NZ.

I took my daughter and myself to NZ for a wedding. We only stayed at Skycity for 1 night, but it was the best. We jammed as much as we could in. Great location, friendly people & good food! And the view, well both at night & day it is most spectacular.

We had heard about the Hotel from friends and found it to be fantastic despite the renovations. would definately stay there again

by check-out questions about differences between sky city,and sky city grand were answered without any enthuisiasm. The answer i recieved was one is 4 star the other is 5 star. All the fine touches one would expect from a 4 star hotel were missing ! The valet service was excellent ! delivery of luggage to room was also very good !

Hotel was in very nice condition and great location however tons of noisy construction started early in the morning with a crane right outside our window, we weren't warned of this at time of booking, it wasn't until check-in we noticed a sign on counter. The service wasn't completely what I'd expect for a hotel like this. I waited on the phone to reception […] for 10 minutes before hanging up and physically having to go downstairs, and it wasn't even busy when I went down. Overall probably wouldn't bother staying again, completely different to the Grand which I've always enjoyed. 더 보기

We were very satisfied with our room. Unfortunately due to inclement weather we were unable to dine at The Orbit restaurant which was really the purpose of our visit. We ate in The Rebo restaurant. We did not use any other facilities.

Excellent hotel. The room was very nicely decorated, clean, with nice amenities. If you are looking for something in the heart of the city, then I can highly recommend this hotel. Easy walk to shops and restaurants by the water.

The hotel room was very modern, quiet and clean with a good air conditioning system. Parking is in the pay as you go casino car park but the hotel reduced the fee to a cheaper daily rate on check out instead of the hourly rate posted. Wonderfull location ! If you love to be downtown and near Casino (2 floor of the hotel). The swimming pool is incredible ! But too crowded. Entrance is like a big supermarket... The rooms are OK but not so big in "normal" room. Book it for the convenient location and the view and the swimming pool. Not for a confortable and quiet location.

Conviently located to shops,, restaurants and tourist attractions. Hop in the lift and down 4 floors to the casino! We booked the "Do not disturb, Romance package" Extremely good value for money. The "extras" placed in our room (which was spacious, clean and tastefully furnished, with outstanding views of Auckland Harbour Bridge and the city) put us […] in the "mood" and included sparkling wine, delicious fruit and chocolate plus scented pampering products for him and her! Added to all this was the delightful room service next morning - what more could you ask for than breakfast in bed (the works) plus a late check-out. The room was fantastic. Housekeeping was 10 out of 10. Skycity was so central that every place and thing I needed was either right there in the building or just a few meters away. The revolving restaurant up the sky tower (buffet one, cant remember the name) was a blast! It was worth the money spent, the view was spectacular! Everything you would need […] is right there in the same building. You will never get lost, and its great meeting place for business. Rebo cafe and all the other restaurants within the hotel buliding were great.....Starbucks is right across which is a bonus....I look forward to my next stay there... 더 보기
