The blanket smelled like someone's sweaty armpit... that's why I checked out after one night (rather than staying all 5). The fan in the bathroom sounded like it was gonna tear loose from the ceiling whenever it was on. Then my coat smelled like I'd spent the night in a smoky bar (in a 'non-smoking' room. This hotel was right off of Interstate 95. It is okay for a quick overnight stay, or if you are not spending much time in the room. It was very clean but nothing fancy at all. Hotel was had a little musty smell

I went to North Carolina on a trip to see my boyfriend. After a long 20 hour drive. Check in to my room was very fast. The room was very clean, and the water was hot. I stayed there for 3 days. Hadn't stopped here in a few years, but needed a place to stop on my way back from Daytona Bike Week. Paint in room still smelled fresh and room was clean & tidy. Breakfast was above what I expected for this price level, and staff was very friendly. We only stayed overnight but the facilities were excellent. Rooms were clean and confortable, well equiped (iron & ironing board) , microwave, refrigerator. We'd definately stay again and recommend you to others.

its just it- a good and cheap night sleep on your long drive north or south on I-95. nothing special, but nothing to complain about as well

Perfect for a night's rest before we continued our journey south.

great place! room was newly remodeled throughout. bed was super comfortable and desk clerk was friendly and helpful. would recommend this hotel to anyone!

Had a great stay here. Was close to Rocky Mount without having to deal with the "craziness" of trying to get a room.

comfortable, clean, and easily accessible from I-95. a simple continental breakfast is included with the stay, or there is a waffle house right next to the hotel.

I stayed with my dogs and the hotel didnt smell and was very clean. The staff was very nice.

I needed a place to stay near Scotland Neck NC, and selected Econo Lodge North because it had a great rate and positive reviews. Here is what I liked: - fast friendly check-in and check-out - clean spacious rooms - virtually new furnishings - quiet effective heater - clean bed spreads, linens, towels, etc. - nice mini fridge and microwave in the room - […] strong wireless signal - quiet room (mine faced away from I-95) Area dining options were limited, and included a Waffle House next door, and a Dairy Queen across the street. Room was clean and the staffs were friendly, but the breakfast was not satisfactory.

We booked this hotel on the internet before leaving on our trip to Savannah from Phila. We selected because of the value, and beihg close to I-95. I was making the 24 hour trip from upstate NY to Florida and booked this motel because it was conveniently located right off 95 and around the half way point of my drive. A small, clean, right off the interstate location. No problems.

ROOM DID NOT HAVE LISTED REFRIG/M.WAVE ON ARRIVAL. THEY HAD TO BE CARRIED IN TWO HOURS AFTER CHECK-IN. A/C UNIT IN ROOM HAD NO CONTROLS OTHER THAN TO PLUG/UNPLUG IT SO AS NOT TO FREEZEY MORNING. PREVIOUS GUESTS DIRTY COFFEE POT AND GROUNDS STILL THERE ON ARRIVAL. TO MAKE MATTERS WORSE, CEILING HAD BEEN PATCHED AT SOME PREVIOUS TIME AND LEAKED FOR THE […] ENTIRE 2 NIGHT STAY. Very functional, convenient hotel. Pool small but serviceable and clean. Good breakfast included--can't beat the price. Location convenient to the highway and we slept well. It was quiet. Staff very friendly.

I should have known better. I was looking for a cheap place to stay on the way to pick up my daughter from camp in NC. This was a "dog friendly" hotel, so I brought my dog. The managers apparently live there, and pop out when people arrive. My room smelled moldy and musty. My dog didn't like the place either! The TV was crappy and the remote did not […] have batteries. I had no choice but to stay there because it was nearly midnight. I asked for a wake up call, but they did not call me. Then they claimed that they called me! I was late to pick up my daughter. My stay at the hotel while traveling form Florida to Maryland was very pleasant. Grate price and service for the money.

Traveling through on 95, we've stayed at a number of motels in the area. We should have tried this one first. It couldn't be handier to the highway, was a good rate, clean, comfortable, and friendly. It had a nice little fridge & microwave, separate sink/vanity from tub/shower & toilet. Will stay here again & tell our friends about it.

We had a late arrival due to long hours of traveling. The office staff were very friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable too!! I would come back again.

The room was great. Also a plus was the room had a micro wave and refrigerator. Management was very professional. Check-in/ Check-out was short and sweet since it was paid in advance. Thanks for a great stay.

internet services was terrible!!!!! Signal wasnt strong enough it kept booting me off.
