Millennium Knickerbocker is really a great hotel. Comfortable, great service, nice staff, great location. Room service is always faster than they say, and the bartender knows how to pour a drink!

Front desk staff Polite but clueless. Bar hours unobserved and seemingly random. Good cafe but pricey. Overall, better hotels in the area in multiples.

Had a great stay in Chicago, especially due to the most comfortable bed and room in the world. The food that I had in the hotel restaurant was very good. Only thing, I wish I was informed about the added on fee for "incidentals" (parking...). Overnight parking in the city is very expensive. Overall, great time. Thank you.

Nice hotel for girls weekend. Close to the Magnificent Mile for shopping and fun. Hotel was really nice, nice bar, not good bar food, only issue was that beds didn't seem like Queens . . .

My stay was exceptional. Its a wonderful hotel thats been around for ages, and yet its been renovated to be modern and accommodating. The bathroom is wonderfully designed and the king bed was comfortable. The turn down service and the concierge are extremely helpful as well. Rooms are smaller, but nice comfy king size bed. Bathroom updated, but shower leaked - no big deal really. Right on miracle mile, but not super close to the metro lines. Don't get a coke at the bar - was $4!

For the most part, our stay was good. Don't order in-room WiFi package. The WiFi signal in our room was so weak and ineffective, that I asked for (and was granted) a refund. The concierge did get us into a restaurant that appeared to be booked full on a Saturday night. Odd - on two occasions, the front desk didn't have enough cash to make a simple change […] request. In one case, a bellman made change for us - out of his own pocket! Watch out for the NYC-like valet parking rates! I would stay at this hotel again. 더 보기

Stay at the Millenium instead of the Drake across the street. You'd rather shop along the Magnificent Mile with your substantial savings. The Millenium's rooms are compact and functional. The superb staff noted that they had me scheduled for a quiet room in the back of the hotel far from an elevator as requested. The rain shower and newly tiled surround […] more than made up for any view I wasn't around to enjoy. The dual shower was wonderful, the electrical outlets plentiful, and the counter and storage space quite well designed, including a very nice makeup mirror. The linens were white and very soft, including oversized towels and bathrobe. A large flat screen, minibar and full length mirror in the main room were great additions. The service personnel were very friendly and efficient. Bags were graciously stored my last day. The bar had live entertainment at night, but the compact restaurant was way too busy for the staff in the mornings. The Drake has a ground floor coffee shop, and the lavish dining room buffet breakfast is only a few dollalrs more than the Millenium. The shops at 900 Michigan have Bloomingdales on the first floor, and ask the concierge for your 15% out of town savings pass. Macy's has a similar promotion and is only a block away at the Water Tower. You shouldn't miss the Signature Lounge or dining at the Signature Room on the 95th floor of the Hancock Building there as well. 더 보기

A great place but $55 to valet the car overnight that is ridiculis.

Most enjoyable. Hotel is old but well maintained. Could use more staff at its Check In Desk.

Room was cool with a slight separation between the living & bed part, not quite a suite but very nice. Lobby bar could use some repair work on the ceiling & bar staff weren't that attentive.

Nice hotel, room was small but nice, clean and updated. Lobby, front desk, bar, elevators could use updating. Valet was pricey at $55 but the guys were quick and very nice. Would stay again.

My junior suite was very comfortable, especially the bed. There was a burned out light in the bathroom, which I would expect housekeeping should see right away. I left a note in the room hoping they'd find it and replace the bulb. I would consider staying here again as it was very convenient. There were also great places to eat within walking distance. […] The Belgium Bakery, 100 E. Walton, has the BEST crescents for breakfast - a must visit 2 blocks from the Knickerbocker. Also, the Pane Caldo for lunch or dinner has wonderful Italian - pastas are homemade. You'd walk RIGHT BY it if you didn't know it was there at 75 E. Walton. I will definitely consider the Knickerbocker on my next stay in the Near North Side. 더 보기

Excellent.

Desk staff was great and very helpful! Hotel has that older dayt charm but rooms are updated and nice contemporary baths. On a quiet street but convenient to Michigan Ave.

Overall nice. TV remoteb did not work,mbut staff had fixed in very short order.

It was great. The location was right off Michigan Ave- the Mag Mile. The staff were all friendly and courteous. We had to ask for a crib 3 times before it actually came to our room and it was not a crib but a pack and play. That part was misleading.

The best part of this hotel stay was the location a short walk away from North Michigan Avenue and all the shops and restaurants on Norht Michigan Avenue and Rush Street. Minor negative: we prefer a firmer mattress than what our room had.

What a great value. The plush amenities and convenient location make this hotel a winner in my book. The updated interior and classic styling of the 1920's era hotel is perfect. Not to mention the world class customer service!

First time for me to Chicago and the hotel and staff were more than adequate. The proximity to shopping, great restaurants, tours (walking and riding) was unparalleled. We would definitely stay again.

Hotel was clean and well-maintained, and the property is 1 block off Michigan Avenue, steps from the John Hancock building. I ordered room service twice and it was fabulous--seriously, the best room service of my entire life. The only "2-star" rating I would give the hotel is for the comfort of the room--I stayed for three nights in April, and one day […] it was almost 90 degrees. The room's temp was regulated at 75 degrees--which, for me, is too warm to sleep, and I wanted and needed it be cooler. 더 보기

passable... Not overly impressive. Hotel has a homey feel, not too busy. Did not seem to have any vending/ice machine anywhere. We had to leave hotel to get drinks. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were updated and modern.

The rooms were nice, location prime for luxury shopping as well as the pier. Like most hotels in the area though, parking was really expensive. Also, I overheard someone saying their son was robbed in the elevator. Not sure I would stay there again but it was a good experience none the less.

It's a great place to stay if you want to be close to Michigan Ave, or the Gold Coast area. It was a good stay - the only major issues is that we could hear everything since our room was right off the elevator, and our rain shower leaked ALL over the bathroom floor. Besides that, the beds were super comfortable, I could stay in them all day. Great location […] - really satisfied with it. Just wish they had free Wi-Fi in the hotel, so we weren't stuck going to the lobby or to a nearby Starbucks. 더 보기

Great location 1/2 block from Michigan Ave. and the magnificent mile. Felt at home the entire 4 day stay. Comfortable beds, great walk-in shower!

This hotel is at the perfect location. Very nice rooms and helpful staff. Had an issue with the business center, I contacted the front desk for assistance, however they were unable to get the issue resolved. Had to walk over to The Westin (front desk called to make sure that their business center had what I needed) to get the item completed. A little […] frustrating, however they found a back up plan. Our first time to Chicago, enjoyed every bit of it. Walking distance to great shopping, restaurants, beach and Navy Pier. We will stay at this hotel again. 더 보기

We love to stay north of the river close to Michigan Avenue. Also we always go to Carmine's for dinner. It is such a short and pleasant walk to the Gold Coast area, WE LOVED IT!!! Will definitely stay here again.

The staff was wonderful and our room surpassed our expectations. Very centrally located to all the attractions in the city.
