for the price this hotel was great! good place to get some sleep and a shower. The bed was comfy and the room was generally clean...though I wasn't there long and didn't necessarily look for anything to prove me wrong. Nice location and decent price for Mt Hood getaway.

Clean. Good bed. Hair dryer didn't work, tub and toilet dripped. Built in early 60's and room was tiny.

Clean and surprisingly quiet given that it backs onto the I5. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Note that this is a 3 story building with no elevator, so you should request a main floor room if stairs are a problem. Amy happily re-arranged my room for me to accomodate my bad knees.

Good for price....not for pleasure...one night stay passing threw

A great location (right by work), and a decent room for a fair price. No frills, but if you just need a room for the night, and have a budget... This is worth a look.

I needed a place to stay, and this was close and affordable. The place is a bit rundown, and in need of some TLC. My room had a broken bed frame, such that the two box springs leaned towards the middle. The toilet seat was broken also. Upon check in, I asked for only one thing - quiet. They gave me a third floor (top floor) room, and didn't put anyone […] on either side of me. I would definitely stay there again if I needed an affordable room. My husband & I stayed here 3 nights. Unfortunately the room was cramped, and smelled like mildew? The room needs some work (new carpet) updated decor. The bed was ok, not great, not horrible. The hot water would get warm-cool when the person above me showered at the same time! The receptionists were very nice.

I enjoyed my stay there very much. Only problem I had was figuring out the heater, but the maid was happy to explain it. Continental breakfast was plentiful and saved me time and money. Having a micro & fridge also was a money saver. I would have liked a shower cap and conditioner to go along with shampoo, but for the price they charge, I thought it […] was a fantastic value. 더 보기

Older, but clean and staff was very friendly. Mini fridge, microwave, and wireless internet. Stayed here for 3 nights. The only disadvantage was that there weren't a lot of restaurants and no grocery stores in the immediate vicinity.

One reviewer said this hotel is just "a place to sleep" and I agree. It wasn't very clean and it was definitely a little run down; there was urine on the toilet seat and the seal was broken around the air conditioner. I had a hard time figuring out how to turn on the heater - which I really needed due to the cold air coming in from the broken seal. […] I had only one pillow that did not reek of sweat and the sheets had what looked like cigarette burns in them. Besides it not being very tidy, the room itself was not that bad. The bed was pretty comfortable. This is a place to sleep when your on a budget. It's close to downtown Tacoma and all the museums and stuff so it worked for me. The staff is super friendly and helpful. I would stay here again but I'll bring my own pillow and blanket. 더 보기

The hotel is not fancy, but a fair value for your buck. Convienent to the Emerald Queen Casino.

Well if you need to only crash for a night its ok, I don't recommend it if u r to stay more than one night. I guess it serves its purpose. Also don't expect any fancy stuff, lobby and eating area are the same, they only have about 2-3 very small tables. If u want to iron ur clothes, you need to ask for the iron, there are none in the rooms.

When I arrived, I showed the front desk lady my email confirmation from Hotels.com, but she tried to make me pay for the room all over again.

This hotel was great for spending the night as we were on the road. The neighbourhood surrounding doesn't have a lot to offer, but there is a casino nearby and the rate was unbeatable! Room was very clean with Directv and a load of channels! WIFI too!

The staff was great--very friendly at check in. The room, however, smelled musty and damp...very disgusting. It was relatively clean, however, considering. Didn't realize till late that night that the shower's hot and cold controls were all crazy and it was impossible to keep the temperature at a tolerable level. Did not call them for maintenance, however, […] since it was late and we were only staying one night. I'm sure they would have switched the room or had someone come out to fix it if we had called. For the price we thought it was okay but when I dropped some money on the floor between the bed and the night stand I found - not good - food, plastic, dirt. It was a BIG turn off. (We'd not eaten in the room and had been there several days.)

Rooms need updated and modernized. Maintenance needs to be improved.

I asked for a nonsmoking room, but I had to walk by smoking people to get to my room. The bed spread had burnholes in it. So it was uncomfortable and scratchy. The ice machine gave you 3 pieces of ice every 30 seconds so it took 1/2 an hour to get a bucket of ice. The bath tub stopper wouldn't work. All of these problems are minor and it would improve […] the quality of the hotel if they had a more ambitious owners and staff. 더 보기

The motel is 3 stories, no elevator. I stayed on the ground floor next to the laundry room. It was quiet enough with the wall fan going and the window did not open. The place is clean but older and kind of grotty. I did not feel unsafe but wasn't here to relax at my hotel. If grottiness is not a deal-breaker, there are lots of less expensive mom and […] pop motels in the area. If you want a nice place to hang out in, this probably isn't it. The Travelodge is a basic motel--nothing fancy here. We were impressed that it was very clean and comfortable. Also, the staff was exceptionally friendly and helped with directions. Although the motel was pretty full with travelers, it was very quiet. Good location for ease of finding and close to area attractions. The neighborhood is kinda rundown […] and I would not stay here if I was a single woman traveler. Good value for the basics. 더 보기

The size of room was fine. Housekeeper did not vaccum the carpet. Bathroom tub very old and stained. Floor not washed. Continental breakfast - no where to eat except in room.

one of the best continental breafast for this type of hotel, huge muffins, cream cheese from the jar, excellent coffee and bagels. Excellent location, on the highway.

I was working in the area for the weekend and found the room convient, the people helpful. The bed was very comfortable.

While it may not be 5-star it still works. Yes, you get what you paid for but it is close to the interstate. Do not go for the continential breakfast, still needs work. The wall looked like coffee was spilt on it and the tub looks old. Usual, TV, microwave, and fridge. Bed was nice, not too firm and not too soft.

I have lived at way better hotels for the same price. The room was sort of dingy, the microwave and refrigerator awfully small. The later didn't quite seem usable :(.

Our room was very small, & the walls were dirty (boogers??). Shower grout was mildewed, & the shower curtain smelled. Adjacent room was very noisy (motel owners family??). Will NEVER stay there again!!!
