Hotel Del Gobernador - 메리다

The hotel is very well located as you are close to Merida's beautiful downtown. Hotel staff is very helpful and friendly, just like Mexico! If you get a room facing the street it may be a little noisy because you can hear traffic but you are downtown so that is expected. Rooms are clean and big and the hotel is well priced.

This has to be the worst experience I've had in a hotel in Mexico EVER and I've been living/traveling here for over 3 years. It started with having to wait (for some reason) for over 30 minutes to even check in. After checking in and getting settled and trying to check my email, the power kept going out. This happened maybe 6-8 times in a 2 hour time […] frame. Then, the beds are like rocks and they're SHORT. I am 5'4" and when laying on my stomach my feet hung off the end. I had to sleep diagonally in order to actually have all of me on the bed. Anyone taller than I am would be screwed. The worst is the noise. They gave me a room by the stairs and it was IMPOSSIBLE to sleep as people were coming and going all night and being amazingly inconsiderate. Finally I gave up at midnight and requested a new room. It took 45 minutes to change rooms because apparently I needed someone to open the door for me, I couldn't just get the key and go on my own. Someone would have to pay me a LOT of money to stay here again. The Hotel Reforma is just a couple blocks away (closer to the action) and is cheaper, has better beds and is quiet. Hotel could definitely use some maintenance and sprucing up. Location is great for Central Square activities

Great location and clean but noisy AC, abundance of ants and mosquitoes, pool was not open during most of my stay due to slow repairs.

This was truly an experience for me and my daughter. Thank goodness this hotel had parking and a parking attendant! Otherwise I don't know what we would have done. The parking attendant called in and a very nice bellman came out and helped us with our luggage. I believe his name was Carlos, and he spoke English very very well and very nice and helpful. […] We went in to the hotel and the lobby was very nice. Carlos told us they had computers and internet we could use (which was free) and we were very impressed. Then after checking in, he showed us to our room. If I had not been totally exhausted and freaked out from the drive there, I would have left and drove another couple hours to our next stop. The room was clean, but just a very small room with no lamps, just a couple weird little over head recessed lights that you couldn't even use to see to read at night with, an old desk with a TV sitting on it, and that was pretty much it. There was no extra security latch on the door nor a chain. Just a spot where a chain use to be, but looked like it was busted off. The beds were like wood. In the morning, we never managed to get hot water for a shower. But the rest of the hotel was very nice, even music playing outdoors by the nice pool area. It was strange how our room was in such poor shape, but the rest of the hotel was done up so nicely. We ate at the restuarant twice, dinner and breakfast, and the food was very good and prices were good. The people at this hotel and restuarant were very friendly. 더 보기

its a ratehr modern building without historical charm of a colonial house but clean, quiet, good WiFi, good location - 5 min walk to Plaza Grande. very friendly stuff. great deal if u need simple clean ,good located place to stay. reminds clean US motels, like Super8. will stay again

The hotel employees are very friendly, they tried everything they can for you to be pleased. If I go to Merida again in the future I will stay at the Hotel del Governador. The hotel is walking distance to the main plaza, shops and restaurants.

We'll stay here again.

Exelente ubicación solo requiere mejor servico de Intenet y refigeradores o servibar en la habitacion

Por el precio crei que el Hotel iba a estar algo descuidado, pero la verdad es muy bonito, tranquilo y la gente muy amable. Solo hubos 3 cosas que no me gustaron: 1. La primera vez que hicieron la limpieza, dejaron la unica ventana que hay con las cortinas corridas y se veian todas nuestras cosas personales desde el pasillo y la ventana no tenia el […] seguro colocado. Cualquiera pudo haber entrado por la ventana y llevarse algo. Aunque conociendo a la gente de Merida, es muy linda y no hay mucha malicia... pero en un Hotel llega gente de todos lados. 2. Como que los recepcionistas no estan muy bien informados de eventos turisticos, solo te venden los tours con una agencia que ellos ya tienen. Pregunte sobre los bailes regionales y mandaron a una plaza que no era =( 3. Los sanitarios no tiene ventilacion, asi que si te cae mal la comida (xq la comida del sur es muy condimentada) dile a tu compañero de cuarto que salga a dar una vuelta en lo que se va el olor jajaja... el problema del hotel es el estacionamiento que hay que estar avisando para que puedas entrar o salir del estacionamiento, es desesperante

Hotelli on siisti, hyvässä kunnossa ja mukava. Huoneissa joissa 2 queen bediä ei ole kovin paljon vapaata tilaa ja komerot pienet 4.lle. Hotellissa loistava aamiainen ja ystävällinen palvelu. Hotellista liikkuu sujuvasti keskustaan, paikalliselle bussiasemalle ja lentokentälle. Hotelli on liikennöidyn kadun varella, joten jos haluaa rauhaa kannattaa […] pyytää sisäpihan huoneita. 2 krs on mukavat näkymät kattojen yli. このホテルならではの特徴はありませんが、値段以上の内容でしたのでこのホテルをお勧めします。 立地：5分程歩けば中心街、バスターミナルへも歩いて10分程なので不満はない 部屋：角部屋が当たった事もあり、部屋が扇でデザインが良かった。シャワースペースが狭かったのが唯一残念 対応：英語を話せる担当者がいる。
