We enjoyed our stay at the Ramada Limited Inn. Very nice. It was peaceful and perfect for what we needed for Big Sur Marathon weekend.

Compare it to a beaten down holiday inn express.

The motel is not in the center of monterey but as long as you are with a car, it's about 3 minutes driving. The street is full with all the motel you will see. nice place. good service. nice breakfast. we stayed for one night and it was nice.

We stayed a night for a wedding in town. It was quaint and quiet. We left some things in the closet and checked out, and we received a phone call from the manager notifying us of our things. It was such a kind gesture that the call was immediate and we weren't far from the location. Great staff at this motel! Friendly, helpful and cheerful. This is one of the better moderately priced motels in Monterey. Close to everything. A very nice stay here!

We stayed at the hotel for a week. I chose it because we were on a budget and I wanted a free breakfast and wifi. Breakfast was plentiful and the wifi worked great. I did not care for the pillows. So if you are particular about your pillows, bring your own. We also had a little one and requested a crib, which was promptly delivered. We stayed at more […] expensive hotels that did not have a crib so that was a plus! The hotel was clean, but the room had a bit of the 'hotel' smell. Hence I only gave the hotel 4 stars. We've stayed at this Ramada in the past and this time we were lucky enough to score the FRONT king sized bed room! It ROCKED! My husband also forgot his shirt there and Ritesh (sp) was kind enough to call us and asked if we wanted it sent UPS! He didn't have to do this for us but he did! Customer service at its BEST! Thank you!!

On Friday 3/30/12, some late arrivals checked in very late; after midnight. They were extremely noisey; playing loud music, slamming doors, going in and out of their room. This went on until 3:00am. We were given the next to the last room on the upper floor, room 228. They were in the last unit.

After a day's worth of sightseeing and a long drive in the rain, the Ramada Limited Monterey did the trick to recharge us for the next morning. We had a spacious room and loved the waffles for breakfast. The only thing to note if you're using a GPS to get to the hotel is that the address is 2058 NORTH Fremont St. Just typing in "2058 Fremont St." (as […] indicated on hotels.com) takes you to a semi commercial/residential area that's about a 10 minute drive away from the hotel. 더 보기

The staff were helpful and accommodating. The room was very clean. The bed was very comfortable although most of the furniture in the room was well used. I would definitely stay again

We took our softball team to this hotel, we needed something that was realitively cheap, but still safe. It is much easier to access than another hotel we stayed at last year. The parking lot is not very accessible and it seems there are not enough parking spots because when we came back from dinner there were only 2 spots left and I had to park 2 fifteen […] passenger vans in the only 2 spots left. I called two days before our visit and asked to have all of our rooms blocked together, and that did not happen. The room next to us was smoking marijuana, which permeated the walls; there was a man outside playing guitar until 3 am. When we took our team downstairs for breakfast, the manager told me he was going to charge me extra money for the room because I didn't list all of those people staying in the rooms (which I DID do on hotels.com). They also said they had problems with my kids, yet they didn't call any of the coaches' rooms to tell them what was going on. The breakfast was ok, the lady that worked in the restaurant was really nice; it was just the management that didn't come off very well. 더 보기

clean, cheap, comfy beds

Felt cozy, just like home!

Great value, free breakfast and 5 bars on the in-room wireless internet access. I would stay there again...5 minutes to Cannery Row.

When I booked the room I wasn't expecting much because of the price. However, it turned out very clean and maintained small hotel. For this price the comfort of the room was very good. I'd recommend it ...

This place is clustered near the water with about 5-6 other old style motels from the 50-60's era. It has been totally renovated and is just as nice as any other 2-3 star hotel. When the gps ran us thru a residential area to get to it, I had my doubts as to what I was going to see, but it's a cozy hillside quaint cottage type. There is no elevator, […] just outside steps if you are on the second floor. Everything was very clean and nice. The staff was very nice and helpful. Breakfast was decent choices. very nice, large rooms, comfortable beds, good loacation. only 5 min from cannery row and 10 min from aquarium. breakfast room was crowded.

Our room was on the 2nd floor to the right of the pool. We had a clean kingsized bed that fit me, my 3 year old and my husband. The furnishings are old, like 1980s Miami Vice art deco looking old, and worn. What do you expect? We have paid more in the past for nicer rooms, but I knew what to expect from a motel. It was a decent place to sleep and shower […] and our kid didnt know the difference between this and the hilton. The staff is very nice and we enjoyed the free waffles and continental breakfast in the morning ( which was from 7:30am to 9:30 am) Its about 8-10 minutes away by car to downtown monterey and the aquarium. On mapquest it looks much farther. Overall it was a nice place to crash for 2 nights. Many places to eat in the neighborhood, a cvs on the next block and a safeway close by. Del Monte beach is really close by too, not walking distance but a short 4 minute drive, we drove to pacific grove to see the butterflies and that was a 15-20 minute drive. 더 보기

Bathroom door was hard to closed because the bottom door was touching the floor. Heater/wallpaper need to change. Closet door couldn't closed because the drawer was between the door. Microwave plate was not the correct plate. Staff service was excellent.

Was OK, nothing spectacular. OK for 1 night. Not a great choice for breakfast. But sufficed.

We had a nice stay. The room is clean and well organized. The staff is very corteous. overall rating is excellent

very disappointed the pool and hot tub were closed and that is one of reasons we choose the hotel. My car got scratched in the parking lot.

was nice considering out situation that forced us to stay in monterey. i loved the waffle maker and never seen a hotel have one before. so the breakfast was nice. fresh and warm.

This is a great hotel for folks who want a clean, comfortable room with plenty of space. The continental breakfast is substantial. The only negative was my husband was told he couldn't sit in the breakfast room with his coffee (even when it wasn't full) and use his laptop computer.
