When we arrived at 3am, we had to wait 15 minutes for the attendant to return to the desk. Once we go out room it only had one set of towels and they did not have any wash cloths at the front desk. I was not satisfied and wil not be staying there again.

Great value and pleasantly surprising. Room was very comfortable. The Deli on site has great food and is very unique.

HOTEL WAS CLEAN . EMPLOYEES WERE FRIENDLY.THREE NIGHT STAY ONLY PROBLEMS WERE PILLOWS WERE TO SMALL AND ONE DAY ROOM WAS NOT CLEANED.

we requested a king size bed - we received two double bed. we asked about religious services in the area and were talk that they did not have a clue - as to were or when and did not know to find the answer.. We asked where was the best place to park and we were told just outside but not near which door

I booked this hotel online after reviewing the pictures and it seemed like a really good deal. It was surrounded by the Sheraton, the Hilton, and Marriot's Couryard so we thought it would be a good place to stay. As soon as we walked in I was upset. The beds may as well have been on the floor because they were so low and the toilet seat had a strange […] yellow tint along one side. The bathtub had a bath mat that was coming up in the top left hand corner with nasty brown stuff under it. There were four people in the room and they gave us one wash cloth. We called down to the front desk for more face towels and it we didn't get them until I asked at the counter for them the following day. The did bring us every other variety of towel size but that's not what we kept asking for which was annoying. Then when I was ready to dry my hair, the blow dryer had clearly overheated because it was melted in the holster. I will say that the day staff was much faster than the night crew and I did get a new dryer in about 20mins versus the face towels I spent most of my trip begging for. I would not recommend this hotel at all. You're better off across the street in either direction. 더 보기

for the amount I paid, I expected more. I had older TVs with poor picture quality. I had to call down almost every day for towels. There was no complementary coffee in the morning, I had to buy it. It was just a picture of a hotel on the way out.

The room I stayed in was clean, bed was comfortable. Not much to do in the immediate area... very industrial. NOTE to GPS users: the hotel address is will NOT get you to the hotel! Ask for the GPS address or you will be going in circles! The deli attached to the hotel is $$$, but serving size could feed 3+ people. The lobby was the best part. Room walls scuffed and marked,the heater/ac noisy carpet old and worn,shower was great until a cockroach joined me. Curtains were off a couple hooks. But hey the soap and shampoo were good!

Stayed here twice. The first time everything was good. The second was awful. Wifi did not work as hotel promised and tried to fix several times. Front desk did not answer phone. Maid did not bring extra towels as requested and toilet was broken in both rooms and was not fixed as requested and promised.

This hotel is fine if you just need a place in this vicinity to get some sleep. The front desk clerk seemed depressed, the ambience is rather cold and uninviting. There are NO extras, the Deli is expensive, coffee in the lobby costs $2.00!! I got the feeling that no one could care less whether they got your business or not. nice hotel. front desk personnel a little cold and impersonal.

Hotel was very clean. The staff was friendly. Our room was nice, clean and comfortable.

We were glad to get to stay at the Edison when our power was out due to the October snowstorm. When we checked in, we were given a menu of "discounted" prices for the attached Deli/Restaurant. The prices were way out of line with the local New Jersey delis--more like Midtown Manhattan prices. Amenities are good. Location looks a little off beat, although close to Metro station and highway. Breakfast is not available, and the restaurant looks unappetizing.

I chose this hotel based on 3 start rating that it had. It was no way close. Nothing in Room worked though my room was supposed to be renovated. TV was an old one and 90% percent of the time, there would be no picture, only audio. I had to hook up telephone jack to make it to work. Made several calls to front desk just to get coffee jar and still no […] one ever showed up. I gave up at the end. Though I stayed there for one day, I could not have tolerated it more than that. Very old and badly maintained, beds had uncomfortable pillows. Bathrooms were v.old.; blocked shower drain, !! YUCK !!! , toiletries were missing., towels were old and rough-they felt like sandpaper. Good hotel but wifi did not work in my room, so I had to spend a lot of time in the lobby...

This review might seem overly positive, but I was truly amazed at how nice the hotel was. I'm 21 years old and my friend and I stayed a night here to get out of the hustle and bustle of the city. For a king-size bed, smoking, for only that price, this was a steal! This is my second stay at this hotel. The first time must have been luck but, it was okay. This time around, I received poor service from staff. Was shorted on towels, was initially sent to a room that smelled like very bad mold, then changed to a room that had stains on the ceiling. The room service came into our room unannounced at 9:30am even with […] the do not disturb sign. We were quite annoyed this time around. After checking out, we noticed our car alarm going off... someone had tried to break into our car! This could have been because of the high amount of prostitutes in the area. The area wasn't bad before or maybe I missed it. But all in all I can say I will never go back to stay at this hotel again. After two separate stays at this hotel my rating went from a 3 star to a 1.5 Stars Max 더 보기

For the price it is a reasonable hotel to stay at. It is not five star but if you are looking for a clean and practical room without the bells and whistles then this is it. It could have been better if they had a small refrigerator. But again, its not a 4 or 5 star so no big complaints.

Its a good price for staying there for business. Not much in the area for restaurants, but not too far is a mall with a few.

Let me preface this by saying I booked my hotel room through hotels.com, so I don't know exactly where to lay the blame for the beginning of my terrible hotel adventure. The end of the adventure was all the hotel's fault, however. When I booked my hotel, I specifically requested 2 double beds, in a non-smoking room, with an infant crib (because I selected […] that hotel based on their advertisement that a crib could be placed in the room for free). I also informed them that we would check in late after staying in New York all day. The next morning (the day of my trip to New York), I called the hotel to verify that they had received the reservation. The person I spoke to told me they knew nothing about my request for a crib but would work it out prior to my arrival. Upon arrival at the hotel, at 1:15am, I was handed a slip to sign along with keys. Luckily I read the paper, because it stated that they had placed me in a room with ONE KING SIZED BED. And NO CRIB. The gentleman behind the desk apologized, and told me that the hotel was booked, but there was one single person who had not yet checked in yet who had been given a room with 2 double beds because there were no more king sized beds available. He offered to call the man to see if we could switch. Meanwhile, my friend was waiting in the car where her 2 kids were sleeping. Twenty minutes later, he informed me that he had contacted the gentleman, who was willing to switch. He had to go check the room, however, because it was a smoking room instead of a non-smoking room. He went up to check, and came back down 5 minutes later to say that the room didn't smell like smoke and offered it to me. I gladly accepted. I asked once again about the crib and was told that he couldn't help me because the people who run that department were not available overnight. (I almost forgot to mention, he was running the giant hotel ALONE.) I signed the papers and took the key cards he gave me. I went outside and grabbed my friend, her kids 더 보기

This hotel was surprisingly nice. Clean rooms, covenant location, and overall good hotel if you don't mind staying in an industrial park. The only problem was finding the hotel with the address given.

Lost its Holiday Inn franchise. A little run down. Good location but needs work

Overall I had a nice stay a the Edison Hotel. The only issues I had were that the front doors to the hotel needed repair and one of the two elevators was out of order.

Hotels.com needs to correct the address for this hotel. It is not 125 Raritan Center dr. That is the address for the Sheraton Edison Hotel. Low score for surrounding neighborhood because it is a commercial area no food or gas around here. It is within .5 mile of NJTP and GSP highways.

This place needs to be seriously updated. Just about everything about this hotel is old. Carpets are dirty. Rooms were not bad but just outdated.

I stayed during Hurricane Irene. Didn't have any issues other than the weather. Clean. All pros. No cons.. Bang for your buck!!

The guy at the front desk gave us a key to a room that was already being occupied by someone who was sleeping as we unlocked his door and walked in. Horrible!!!

hotel was pretty clean coffee maker was missing first day then the next day it was there but did not work, room was clean but showing wear, Harolds restaraunt was awesome biggest sab=nwiches this side of Veags although not with the hotel it was attatched amd it was amazing

Both the carpet and towels in our room were dirty. There was no bath mat for the floor. The beds were comfortable though. The AC in the hallways was non existant and it was during a heat wave which made moving around the hote very uncomfortable. We won't return

All the lights in the room were too dim and 1 lamp didn't even have a bulb. We asked to place a bulb in and the lamp ended up needing to be replaced. But instead of removing the bad lamp from the room, it was just shoved in the corner behind the new one. The tub clogged. The only items given were 1 soap and 1 lotion- normally I would see a small bottle […] of shampoo/conditioner, etc The iron had a retractable cord that constantly snapped back while ironing. The coffee machine was placed on the dresser but far from the outlet so we had to place it on the floor before use. We asked the front desk for the number of a specific nearby restaurant and they said they didn't have it, when it could have been easily googled. The gift shop sold 10 mth expired medicine.
