good hotel

Very convenient location, close to freeway and central Pasadena. Breakfast was a plus though it was small and not very many options. Room was nice we were very surprised that it had flat screen TV. Only problem was mattress was not very comfortable and one of the drawers on the TV stand wouldn't stay closed so we had to dodge it when walking in front […] of the bed. This is an older hotel with interior hallways. The parking was under the hotel and was made for Le Cars and Mini Coopers. I had a full size pick up and had alot of trouble turning around in there. I parked on the street and registered. Found out I couldn't keep it there. So I parked it in the alley behind the hotel. The hallways smelled of pipe or cigar […] smoke. The room had a strong deoderant smell. The room was clean, the bathroom was impecable. The bed, however, was rock hard and uncomfortable, the pillows were flat. I ended up with a neck ache and a crook in my neck that lasted for 3 days. I would not stay there again. 더 보기

Decent place. Convenient. Very hard bed.

We had to get a hotel last minute the price was very reasonanable room had fridge microwave free wifi and staff was exceptionally friendly. They even had free continental breakfast can't go wrong with this place

Hotel is clean and comfortable for the budget conscious who need basic accommodation. Breakfast provided on a small table at the reception area is really basic: cereal, milk, coffee. If you go down later than 9am, you may not have anything. Quantity is very limited.

The service was below fair. Clerk disappeared once. Did not want to make the effort to come to the window to address a question. The bed was very hard and the pillows had no fluff to them. There was a strange smell in the room. The water pressure was too low. I was unable to take a shower. The hotel is located in a part of Pasadena that has a alot of activity. The hotel itself was satisfactory for the night that it was used. If the hotel was located in a better part of the town, then I would recommend it to others.

There was no coffee pot or coffen in room The Remote control for the TV was missing. The agent seemed more interested in watching TV in the "Back Room" instead of responding to their clients.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for the night. It was satisfactory. You get what you pay for. But overall it wasn't bad. Only complaint was the beds are super hard.

The continental breakfast was lacking, big time.the has nasty oj, peanut butter crackers, Dry cressants, cornflakes. I couldn't wait to see what they have to eat and then I was very dissapointed. So I went back up stairs and checked out.

I would not recommend to anyone to stay here UNLESS they change their bed matresses! They are as hard as wood. Its more comfortable to sleep on the carpet floor because the carpet at least has a cushion under it!

The hotel was very nice. Everything was excellent except for the bed. It was very clean but the bed mattress was very very hard. Could not get a good night's sleep because the mattress was so uncomfortable. Other than that it was a great stay.

Room was lacking in space, not convenient. Nothing served in Breafast except a muffin and juice. For the high price charged for the room, this was not worth it.

We didn't like having to have to go through the lobby to get to our room. There is no access through the outside like you would expect from a hotel like this.

For a discount hotel stay, this is an acceptable, but not good choice. The upkeep of the hotel is below par. The rooms are queen, but there are a lot a small things, chipped paint, stained walls, that really should be being taken care of in a more aggressive manner. The cleanliness of the hotel room was good though. Parking is a major issue. The parking […] lot does not have enough spots, which is a big issue because there is no free overnight street parking. Moreover every one of the spots in the lot is both compact sized and placed next to an pillar of some type which inhibits being able to freely open the doors of your vehicle. 더 보기

Our room was very nice, but the toilet kept running throughout the night. The hotel clerck assisted us in changing rooms for our next night of stay.

Worth every buck you paid for it.

OK hotel for the money.

Basically, my husband and I had chosen this place due to the location. There's only a "snack" version of breakfast, which we didn't really care for since we were going to join my family. The room itself had a lot of space for a queen bed.. definitely needs more pillows and comfortable pillows to start with. (We each had a thin pillow). Like above mentioned, […] we just used the room as a room to sleep and to keep our stuff. Also, the parking spaces are VERY compact. NO PLACE AT ALL TO HANG CLOTHES. NO REMOTE IN ROOM-HAD TO CALL FOR ONE. NO BLANKET-ONLY THE TOP SHEET AND SPREAD FOR COVER. SUPPOSED TO HAVE BREAKFAST: THERE WAS DRY CEREAL & MILK, APPLES, COFFEE & JUICE. NO BREAD OR MUFFINS - ONLY I DRY CROISSANT - I ASKED FOR BUTTER OR PRESERVES AND GOT NOTHING.. ONLY ONE NAPKIN. NO ONE W AS AVAILABLE IN OFFICE EXCEPT […] WHEN BELL WAS RUNG. - DID NOT ALWAYS APPEAR AFTER BELL. WE FELT THAT MANAGEMENT DID NOT CARE AND WANTED TO DO AS LITTLE AS POSSIBLE. We had a good stay the room were clean and well maintained. The surroundings of the location was quite and safe and everything that you might need is in close by.

Very surprised by the cleanliness of this motel. Not so charming on outside (only because of the surroundings), but very clean on the inside! The staff let me check-in (after some prouding) early and check- out an hour later. The continental breakfast could have been more plentiful (doughnuts... Etc) but it was there.

From the moment I pulled in to the parking lot, I felt like just another sardine being squeezed into the hotel. The staff at check-in was friendly. As I went upstairs to my room, there were people loitering in the tight halls and even a guy standing by the fire escape, felt as if though i were being watched. As I entered, the room was decent. LCD tv. […] Not enough towels was the biggest issue. Check-out was fast. This hotel was better than expected and even allowed a slightly later checkout due to clocks reading incorrect time after daylight savings.

Nothing special. Just a nice place to stay. It was pretty decent. No free breakfast or anything.

the room did not have an alarm clock in room- i am a nurse and i had to use my own alarm clock all rooms should have an alarm clock otherwise a good stay - thank you

The room was nice, but we didn't have any coffee and we also needed additional towels. The rooms are noisy, have inadequate lighting and not enough outlets. Ice was located outside in the parking garage and cost a quarter for half a container. The continental breakfast was lacking it was from 5am to 930am and when I got to the lobby for breakfast I […] had a choice of bruised apples (2) a croissant, packaged cookie (oatmeal cream), orange juice, milk and corn flakes, was less than impressed. Wasn't real crowded when I stayed there, someone else mentioned the parking was small and I would have to agree. I have a full size truck and had no problems parking at all but like I said the hotel was not crowded at all. so there was lots of parking which made it easy to park. If on the other hand it had been crowded it would have made parking my […] truck trickier. I think a small to mid-size car would have been fine. This was your average, middle of the road hotel. Service was great, the room was clean and inviting, but the bed was sooooo hard!!!! I barely slept I was so uncomfortable. Plus they didn't have any extra pillows and the ones we had were well worn. Pleasant enough place to stay but the beds need an upgrade badly!!!!

Especially after reading the other reviews, I was pleasantly surprised. The lobby isn't much (the room is bigger) but the breakfast was OK. The room was really nice - lots of granite in bathroom, etc. clean and spacious.

The size of this room was great. Quiet building! the Guest services staff was very friendly. I would definately stay there again!

It is just a good old plain room. If you are truly just in need of a place to shower, sleep, and do it all the next day this is the place. Good location, sorrounded by quite a few hotels, but a good no frills place none the less.

This place was not what I expected. It was hard to find the office. The parking garage was hard to find & had lots of "hard to see" obstructions. It was hard to tell that this parking structure was even part of the hotel. after parking your car you have to walk out to the street to even get into the hotel. The only ICE Machine was located in the parking […] garage & you had to pay to use it. The best part of the stay was the bed. It was very nice.
