This is a typical Marriott...nice, etc. But the staff here is not typical...much better than your average Marriott. Very friendly and helpful. Since Hotel.com forgot to tell the Marriott that I had a prepaid reservation, the check in clerk had to do the heavy lifting...she was great! I had to stay with my husband just to visit family in mobile. The hotel was nice and clean. No funny smells and or stains. The room didn't have a frig but the staff offered to bring one up. I have no complaints. I grew up in mobile, so I was familiar with the area. It's very safe, they had a security guard to monitor the parking lot at night.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel, but there are some things that could use attention. First of all, the driveway entrances are AWFUL!!! It's necessary to stop before rolling in or out of the parking lot. The public areas of the hotel are beautiful, and the staff wonderful, but the carpeting in our room was filthy. I walked around for a while in my […] white socks; when I took them off, they were black! Also, the chair/ottoman in our room were very comfortable, but they, too, need to be cleaned. Their staff is one of the friendliest and helpful I have seen in a long time! Everyone had a smile on!

We celebrated our 1yr anniversary here and the staff at the hotel made sure we had a very pleasant experience. I loved it.

We attended a wedding in Mobile and this location was perfect. The Marriott was very clean, nice and the staff was very friendly and responded quickly to all our needs. Thanks so much for making our stay a pleasure!

i had to cover a long distance in a short time, and this marriot's beds were exactly what i needed for a good night's sleep.

Very nice hotel...Only complaint is the pizza we ordered from room service was horrible.

With my normal hotels all booked I decided to try out the Marriott - and all I can say is "why wasn't it full ?". Nice hotel, great location if you are travelling, fantastically friendly staff and nice environment all round. Will be back next time I pass through the area.

This Marriott has customer service. All I came in contact...very helpful. The location is perfect for business or pleasure. Don't let the address foll you (Airport)...the airport, while close (about 7 miles) this road has all the eateries and shoping you will need or want.

Had a very bad experience with Hotels.com forgetting to book my reservation for a 2nd room. It took the hotel manager calling them to get it straight. Luckily the hotel had an extra room so my fellow guests could spend the night. From now on I will do my own booking.

The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating! The clerk Jasmine even gave me a pack of gum from purse because they were out in the gift shop!

We chose this hotel for its rating and location. We wanted to be close to their mall so that we could do a little extra xmas shopping. There are two malls, a strip mall and fairly large enclosed mall within walking distance. The hotel has a very efficient, warm and welcoming staff from checkin, room service and restaurant. Hotel was very nice. Conviently located near college and restraunts.

WE STAY AT THIS HOTEL OVERNIGHT BEFORE WE LEFT ON OUR CRUISE. THE HOTEL WAS IN AN EXCELLENT LOCATION AND NOT TO FAR FVROM THE PORT TERMINAL. THE HOTEL WAS CLEAN AND WORKERS FRIENDLY AND WANTED TO MAKE SURE YOUR STAY WAS PLEASANT. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL.

Everyone was very friendly and ready to help if we needed anything. The rooms were clean and spotless. Bed was very comfortable. We will be more than happy to go back there again. Close to everything we needed and we didn't have to drive, we walked.

THE DOWNSIDE: This hotel seems like it has an identity complex - it can't decide whether it wants to be a budget hotel or a luxury hotel, and does neither one well! The room seemed small to us, and the bathroom was especially tiny. The breakfast buffet food looked dried out and old, and when we asked for more we were told "there's plenty." There are […] not enough outlets in the room, either. Some of the perks we were used to (free wifi and continental breakfast) were not there, even though I thought for sure I saw them on the website before booking the room (they are not there now!). THE UPSIDE: The pool was better than most hotel pools, and we visited it everyday. Our room (on the 9th floor) was nice and quiet, even though the hotel was quite crowded with a large family reunion. It was also convenient, centrally located, with easy access to the highway (without highway noise). I am always pleased with Marriott hotels. This one was fine, but the elevators and halls were not ari-conditioned, and smelled odd -- but the room was fine. There was a party going on the night I stayed, which would have bothered me had I had a room near the ground floor.

It took 10-15 minutes to get anyone to come to the front desk, we had a late check in at 2 a.m. after 5 hours of travel with 2 small children in our group. The lobby was quiet and vacant yet there was no one at the desk nor was there any means to summon anyone except for yelling "Hello, is anyone here?" repeatedly! Then we find out they have over booked […] and we were only able to get one room instead of the 2 we booked. It took 20 minutes to sraighten out that mess. They then "attempted" to find us a roll away bed; we had to wait another 45 minutes to find out they did not have any roll away beds available so we had to make palates on the floor for the children while 3 adults shared a king size bed. We finally made it to bed after 3 a.m. I felt no one at the hotel cared or was in any hurry to help us. They seemed to drag their feet at every step, i mean how busy are you at 2-3 a.m. that it took us over an hour to check in and get settled? 더 보기

Because I was traveling with my 24 yr. old son, I requested 2 queen size beds when the reservation was made which was stated on the confirmation. However, upon arrival we checked into the room which had 1 king. They sent up a roll away and told us we could be moved the next day (which they did). Friendly staff. The lobby gift shop was expensive. Eight dollars for 2 drinks and 2 granola bars.

I was very satisfied with the Marriott! It was clean, comfortable and very convenient. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

This hotel is not convenient to restaurants or tourist sites. Other than the difficulty in finding restaurants the hotel was fine.
