알로하 인 (Aloha Inn) - 아로요 그레이드

We had several family members staying from Friday through Sunday, 6 rooms, and we all had a good experience. The service was good, rooms were clean and with the new dual pane sliding glass doors I didn't hear the traffic from the nearby freeway. No negatives, even with the remodel that is going on, it will only get better.

Close to everything, quiet, nice hotel & nice people that work there. Would recommend this hotel to my friends. Will be back again too!!!

We statyed at the Aloha Inn to attend the Open House at CalPoly in San Luis Obispo. The price is about $30 lower than an equivalent motel at SLO, for an extra 15 min. drive. The motel is freshly renovated (we are the first to stay in our room after remodelling), so most furnishings are quite new. We did run into a problem with the existing Heater/AirCond […] unit, the temperature control was not functional. We notified the manager on the first day, but it was never fixed during our four night stay due to the weekend. In general, this is a very decent budget motel with all the necessities. Depending on the prices of motels in SLO, we'll consider staying here again next time we come to the area. 더 보기

The hotel is located next to the freeway which might be a problem for some people, but wasn't for us. They are in the process of remodeling. Nice big rooms, little continental breakfast, but still good. Nice staff, nice location. We will use this motel again!!!!

Very spartan. Might as well as stay at a Motel 6. Noisy. Right next to HWY 101. Cigarette butts, paper, trash, dirt on stairways and hallway in front of my room. Curtain for sliding glass door falling off its track. Furniture stripping falling apart from furniture. Shower drain plate was loose. Bed was average. Managers, they do not man the front desk. […] They hide in their room behind front desk. You need to ring the bell for their attention. I don't think they know the hotel business. Mirror in front of sink was too low for a tall person to see. Light would come on sometimes over sink. 더 보기

rude management

IM a 6'2 tall guy and the biggest issue was that the shower head was to low , it was practically below my chest wich I almost had to sit down and take a shower not comfterble at all.. Second of all I had a flag for the dunes on my truck and it was stolen so the neighborhood wanst that great .

Hotel is under renovation and was not stated when I booked the room. Construction noise all day long and till 10:30pm. Hotel is right up against the FREEWAY so you hear that noise all night long. Door did not have a safety lock, the iron did not get hot just dripped water all over the clothes, blow dryer shuts off after 20-30 seconds. They are spending […] all this money on remodeling and they fail to buy the most important thing, NEW MATTRESSES and PILLOWS...Enough said, I'm DONE with this Hotel.... 더 보기

I love this hotel, It's in the middle of a remodel but our room was one that was done and it looked great. the price was great deal breakfast included we will come back time and time again.

Loved this hotel rooms are being renovated it felt like we were the first guests to stay in the room. access to fwy smoke free hotel. My only complaint was pets not allowed.

Great value. Breakfast is just a continental, but good coffee.

very comfortable, right off the freeway and its real close to walmart. big plus for my family and myself. this would be my second time staying here and i have not had a problem yet.

Very unhappy with my stay. Booked a room for 2 nights. After my 1st night i was called at about 12pm and asked when was i leaving in a rude tone. i explained that i had booked the room for 2 nights. I was told that they would call me back once they found out what was going on. An hour passed with no word. I called back to ask what they had found out. […] I was told that they had made a mistake and that i could stay another night. Then they hungup on me. On top of that the hotel is right next to the freeway so even with the windows closed the room was full of traffic sounds. Sheets and bed spread had small holes in them and the bed had no support at all. Back was sore for a few days after my stay. Shower floor was very dirty.For the money i could have stayed at motel 6 down the street for half the rate. 더 보기

Decent and Clean especially for the money.

Room was nice and comfortable. Smelled a little like smoke when we entered. Room was clean, roomy, nice and comfortable. Bathroom needed some work. Mold on the ceiling was a little gross.

Overall I had no problem with the hotel. It was clean, and well kept. The shower is the only issue we had. Found it difficult to adjust the temperature, and the pressure was low. I would stay here again for the price. Only about 20 minutes to SLO and 10-15 to Pismo. It was a good trip.

The mattress was terribly uncomfortable, 3 light bulbs weren't working, the hair dryer didn't work and the breakfast food items were stale and I had to spit it out. It was clean though and the water pressure was perfect, they have soft water. So if that's all you need or you can sleep on anything and don't want their breakfast - have at it.

A convenient motel stop half way from LA to SF. We arrived late, having enjoyed the sunset at the nearby dunes near Pismo Beach, but were still given a friendly welcome. The room was clean and tidy, the beds comfortable and the shower hot at night and in the morning. The road noise from the immediately adjacent Highway 101 was evident, but not obtrusive, […] and didn't stop us getting a good night's sleep. The simple motel-style breakfast served in reception was just that, but better than average, and like the whole motel, was certainly better than expected for the price. The Aloha was on our route, just a few miles from the coast, a lucky last minute find, and a real bargain! 더 보기

Overpriced for a hotel that is not very clean had stains on carpet and there were fleas also in the bed I had bites on my chest. So I was not too impressed

The hotel is a stone's throw from Hwy 101 which is being traversed all day and all night. The sound is very noticeable at night which, for light sleepers, might be a problem.

The hotel was clean and convientely placed. The only thing I was not happy was, the bed was really hard! We all woke up with back and neck aches!

I read many of the previous reviews. the shower heads have been raised, as far as the traffic from the freeway I only hears it when i was on the back patio smoking and it was nice to me. I would highly recomend this hotel and I will stay again. No it isnt a 5 star hotel but Myself and all my family had a great stay.

We checked in late and woke up the guy at the front desk. We got a room that had the freeway right outside of the sliding glass door. Cigarette butt cans were left on the balcony, full of cigarettes and our room was non-smoking. Coffee pot in room was broken and sealed packages were opened. We asked for a new room the next morning and they let us move […] right away (9 AM). New room much quieter. Free breakfast just toast, cereal and muffins. Hotel is under renovations, but very slowly. I guess for the price it was OK, but I think I could do a little better on a Wednesday night. They had breakfast, but just sweet things - two kinds of dry cereal and both were sweetened. It did have a refrigerator and a microwave. Maybe good for a family trying to save money.

Room was clean and remodeled except for the bathroom tub and toilet. Location was good. About 3 miles away from Pismo beach and near the outlets.

For the rate it was perfect for our quick overnight stay. Other comparable hotels were $50 more. We stayed on second floor in the building furthest away from freeway so noise was not a problem but I would assume it would be with the other building. Very plain inside but clean. No hot tub. Not sure if pool is heated, we didn't use it.

Good enough room for what we needed. Just needed a place to shower and sleep after a long day at Pismo Beach. Wasn't filthy, but the walls were a little dirty. If you're not too sensitive, perfect place to crash.

The mildew in the shower of our room laced the walls like the black veil of a widow. Outside of our room by the dumpsters were decrepit televisions wrestled from the bowels of the hotel. OK, so it was better than a Motel 6... somewhat.

Traffic noise was awful. Non smoking room smelled faintly of smoke. Toilet seat had a crack all the way through it. The one good thing was a fast check in.

the hotel was clean and easy to find and the location was close to freeway and beach however i showed up around midnight to check in and when i requested a pillow and extra blancket at the check in window i was refused by the check in clerk cuz he told me i checked in too late for any room xtrs. so sorry if you need anything you better check in ear […] ly. 더 보기
