the stay was excellent best place I have ever stay at in a long time I will tell friends and family about this hotel

The room was dated. As far as cleanliness, it was Ok at best. The room just had a dirty feel to it. The somewhat white pillowcases had some stains on them. They didn't particularly smell fresh. Almost as if they were already used by the prior people in the room. We had requested a non- smoking room and clearly had a room that had been smoked in. The […] air smelled like cigarettes, and there was a burn mark on one of the sheets. The ashtrays were a dead giveaway as well. We didn't make a huge fuss about it since we were only there one night and we were not in the room that long since we went out after check in and came back at 1:30 in the morning. When I got home, all my clothes and hair smelled like cigarette smoke. I understand that they have smoking rooms, but we specifically booked a non smoking room and maybe they should pay more attention to that. The hotel could definitely use some updating. Also, the settings for hot and cold were backwards on the faucets in the sink and shower, someone could get scalded by hot water thinking they have it on cold. The vent in the bathroom was broken as well. The location was good, near many amenities, restaurants, casino. I probably would not stay here again. It just felt dirty. 더 보기

We stayed at this hotel 1 other time a few years ago. That time our special request ( near pool) was granted, this time however it was not. I know that special request are not always granted so no big deal.. The room and breakfast was as expected, clean rooms, free wi fi.. The breakfast selections could include different types of fruits ie bananas melon. […] but overall the usual continental breakfast. We chose this hotel do to price and closeness to I95. There are better more expensive hotels in the area but this one suited our needs and budget. Well worth staying at if no a budget and want to be near the highway for easy access to mystic etc 더 보기

I thought that our stay was average. I was expecting a little more for the Name 'Ramada' ....I wasn't blown away. My main concerns were the Swimming Pool and Breakfast. The cleanliness of the pool was not to my standards. My children wanted a pool vacation and THEY even complained about the ring around the pool and the cloudiness of the water. There […] was also lack of supervision at the pool area. At one point, there were parents who weren't doing their jobs and the kids were overly aggressive throwing a ball full force to each other and even to the windows!! We waited patiently for the parents to correct the bad behavior, but to no avail. So we were then hoping for the next best thing....a Ramada employee to come in and repremand the bad behavior. We ended up leaving the pool after only 20 minutes....needless to say, my kids were very disappointed. The next morning we were hoping for a hot, hearty breakfast, but we got bagels....not that we weren't thankful, but at other Ramada hotels we had a hot breakfast....so we went out to eat. (Which was not in our budget) We did get a great deal for the two day stay, but I guess I wanted to feel and EXPERIENCE THE GREAT DEAL, not just GET WHAT I PAID FOR. 더 보기

I like the location of the hotel.

The hotel was very comfortable. It was located only about 15 minutes from the Mystic Aquarium. I was able to shop at the mall which was located right across the street.

Very helpful employees. Apparantly renovations are in progress as this hotel does need some improvement. It was fine for my one night stay and the price was reasonable. Breakfast was the usual continental fare and was included.

Overall, the hotel was comfortable. The indoor pool was nice and it was great that the hot tub was fixed within a day of the arrival. Staff was friendly and helpful. Only criticism was housekeeping started cleaning a bit early one of the days. Got up not to long after and went out for a few hours and the room had not been cleaned yet. this is my second time staying here i enjoy it because it have a indoor pool also close to all attractions

Peaceful nights rest in a clean room. Right across the road is a Walmart and within 5 minutes are all kinds of stores. The breakfast was not so great. Just coffee and cereal and bagels. But the pool and hot tub were nice. Friendly staff and close to everything.

This hotel was good for what you paid for. Beds were very comfortable, hallways were smelly and dingy and the pool was small and depressing. Ok for one night.

I was very satisfied with the accomadition at the romada,iwas able to visit all the places i wanted to visit,wish their was infomation on where i could go to see a movie.the comp breakfast was great.i would visit again.

window was cracked, went to front desk re: issue with other room(noise, smell, dog barking) employee was very arrogant and really didn't want to hear what i had to stay. Stayed alone with my 4 year old and couldn't wait to check out.

the room was great

When breakfast is included - you should not let food run out tell guests to just eat this instead. Enough said.

Corridors were not clean and worned out however room was little bit better. Bed was really good but the biggest nonsense is that faucet is not in the bathroom. It is next to the bed and you cannot wash your face without waking up the other person. The one and vending machine was broken

The hotel was nice for the price. The room was very clean,and the service was good. We stayed there while we were visiting Mystic C.T. Which was only a ten minute drive from the hotel. The hotel was easliy located close to the new London ferry. There was a restaurant in the hotel but it was Indian food which was not what my seven year old wanted even […] thought it looked very nice and prices were fair with a 10% discount for guests of the hotel. Included with our stay was a continental breakfast. The breakfast was ok for a quick bite to get you going but nothing over the top. The pool in the hotel needed a little work done on it. Only half the lights in the room worked so in was kind of dark to go swimming after the sun went down. But overall it was not a bad hotel for a weekend getaway. 더 보기

Not your nicest hotel...ok for one night when passing thru town and you just need to crash and leave early in the am.

Normally we would stay at a higher cost hotel, but all we needed was one night sleep and a shower in the am. It was a great deal for that. Hotel is older and basic, no frills.

Good hotel, good for the money

The Hotel Staff was Excellent throughout our stay. They were courtious and personably every day. We had asked to change our room when we checked in (the layout did not work for us) and they were extremely helpfull and accomodating. they gave us another room with no questions asked.

We stayed at this hotel because it was the only available one in the area. The person that checked us in was very welcoming and accommodating but the room was not clean. The sheets and pillows had stain spots. The room was cold and the air smelled. The carpet was not clean. I had a great stay (and a VERY good weekly rate). Easy access right off the highway, a few places to eat within walking distance, a wal-mart right across the street. GOOD DEAL!!!

For the price this was nice..

we've stayed here before. the room size was fine and the stay was quiet. the only thing needed is an upgrade to the bathroom. the floor didn't appear to be the cleanest.

The overwhelming smell of Indian Cuisine was unavoidable. Electric locks need to be updated, we had several issues with entering the hotel at all hours. The hotel had signs up for their renovations but didnt see anything being done - not an inconvience. POOL, very small. 3- 4 ft deep and maybe 12 ft by 14 ft wide.

I have stayed here several times and have had good experiences until this one. I have 2 smart phones and have one charger for them, it has 2 connections for 2 USB cables. While Housecleaning cleaned my room, they broke or removed the charger. We spoke to hotel management, who in turn spoke with housekeeping and of course they said they didn't see anything. […] So I had to go buy a new wall charger for 2 USB cables and 2 new USB cables for our phone. the carpet on the floor wasn't clean enough.

The hotel was not bad for the price we paid for our two rooms that joined. Housekeeping staff was friendly and helpful. The gentlemen that worked at the front desk was very helpful and pleasent to talk to. Sauna was a nice retreat from our busy days. We chose the Ramada in part because they were suppost to be close to the highway_ :-) and easy to find. […] Unfortnally, we got in to the area in the early evening so it was dark. With it being dark it became very diffcult to locate Kings Highway( which was not clearly marked) as our directions sent us a right instead of a left. Another reason we chose this hotel was because it offered a heated indoor pool for the kids and a hot tub for us adults. Pool worked well, the hot tub was a bit of a disappointment. The first night was warm but colder water flowed in at all time. The second night the hot tub didn't work at all. The final reason was for its continental breakfast. Frist morning breakfast wasn't to bad, offered the basic foods like cereal, bagels, yougurt, toast, apples and oranges and thats about it( was disappointing that it had boxed waffles you pop into a toaster instead of a waffle maker you pour your mixed batter into like most hotel in that area).The second morning was horrible and I am sure this happened because of lack of staff. Reason I found it horroble was there was no coffee, very little food was left and it was still suppost to be open for awhile longer. Later we found out from Housekeeping they were short staffed so the man that worked breakfast was cleaning rooms for the next guest that were due in at 3 pm. Overall, we enjoyed our rooms. The beds were very comfortable and it was like sleeping in paradise. We loved the fact that our two rooms joined together by a door so the kids could move between the rooms with out having to be in the hallway disturbing anyone. P.S. If you plan on bringing your pet make sure you let the front desk know and that you pay the fee for your pet to be there with you. Otherwi 더 보기

It was a quiet hotel, in fact I barely saw anyone else there the whole time. Breakfast was good, not too much choice. All they had was cereal, bagels, pastrys and coffee or juice. Might have been nice to have eggs or pancakes.The India resterant was good. Great food and they give you 10% off if you show your room key. If that is not to your liking, […] there are many types of resterants around there area. From Five Guys to BBQ Ribs. It wasn't to far from the cansinos or many different types of stores.So overall I was impressed with the hotel and the area. I definitely recommend New York Family Pizza in the Stop and Shop Plaza. 더 보기

Hotel looked like it needed an overhall, painting, new carpeting in the rooms too. The furniture in the room was not too great either. The room needed a good dusting. You could write your name in the dust on the radio and top of TV unit and end tables. The faucet in the bathroom sink was loose and needed repair. They should have a better cleaning staff. […] The only thing decent was the bed. It was certainly not the cleanest place and I would not recommend it to anyone. 더 보기
