Found staff to be excellent with good recommendations re events, restaurants,etc. Very comfortable and close to all places desired to see!!!

We stayed in the villa and had a room on the third floor, nice and large and so quiet! We had requested double bed with double duvet (rather than two singles) but didn't get this. However it was very comfortable. The breakfast was amazing, really good choice. Loved the spa area and had a massage which we'd highly recommend after a hard day's sightseeing. […] The staff were efficient but perhaps not as friendly as visitors from the UK and USA might expect. 더 보기

Lighting of the Christmas tree was very special and nice to meet others who were away from home for the Holiday. Thank you.

We were upgraded to suites, so of course our impression of the hotel was considerably enhanced. I did spend an extra night by myself in a regular room facing the garden, and it was still excellent. The complimentary breakfast was also delicious.

We found Salzburg to be a very wonderful city to explore. Hotel and Villa Auersperg was located in a nice quiet neighborhood and made walking to many points of interest very enjoyable and easy. The staff was very accommodating for whatever we needed. Breakfast was included and very good. I would recommend getting to breakfast early as some items are […] gone if you get there later. We enjoyed our stay at the Auersperg. The breakfast was very good and included a cooked breakfast. Overal a well run comfortable hotel with comprehensive facilities.

We stayed at the Hotel Auersperg for three nights in a Superior Deluxe Room. Our stay was wonderful. This boutique hotel was absolutely perfect. Our only complaints were that the balcony to our room was off limits because it was being re-tiled, and also the hair dryer was difficult to use (the power only stayed on for a few minutes at a time, but maybe […] I was just using it wrong). The location is absolutely perfect - we walked to every single Salzburg location with no trouble at all. Minutes from the Linzer Gasse, 10 minutes from the old town, a block from Die Weiss. The hotel itself is just lovely. It is very clean and modern while also having an Austrian feel. We loved the rooftop lounge area (so peaceful and a beaufitul view of the mountains) and also loved lounging in the courtyard and the patio (also so peaceful and comfortable). And of course, the complimentary breakfast was fantastic every morning - meats, cheeses, hearty breads, eggs made to order, your own pot of coffee. It was a wonderful start to the day to sit outside in the beautiful weather enjoying this delicious breakfast. I also want to note that it was 85 - 90 degrees every day we were there, but the lack of A/C in our room was not a problem. We slept so comfortably. Our room also faced the street, but we did not have any problems with noise, even with the windows open. It truly was a wonderful stay. 더 보기

It's not the easiest hotel to find, simply because of the meandering streets of Salzberg, but the hotel is great. Not only is it convenient to the old town, but its very nice to stay in, too. Rooms are comfortable, clean and modern. The bathroom was much larger than I expected. The dining facility is very nice. We booked the superior room with twin beds and a garden view. We got one bed plus a sofa with a duvet & pillow and a view of the street. There was no separate sitting area as advertised becuase this was now the second bed. Only book this hotel if you are prepared to share a bed with the person you are travelling with as they advised that they do not […] have twin beds in Austria. They offered us an additional single room for considerably more Euros a night as the best solution. Also advertised on the booking website was a separate shower and bath tub but in fact there was no tub. Have to say though that the shower was very good. Finally the air conditioning was a portable electric fan which was not particularly effective. Location of the hotel/villa is about a 15 minute walk from the old town and Mirabelle Gardens but easy enough to find your way around. The breakfast was good, the staff were friendly but we didn't get what we paid for. 더 보기

Stayed here for 2 days in June 2011 and really enjoyed it. The staff were very charming - friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is a nice size in an attractive building with an internal garden. Breakfast buffet was great and both wifi and car parking were free. Highly recommended.

Our first room had a loud and obnoxious noise while we were trying to sleep. They switched our room the next day without any hesitation. The staff was friendly, helpful and very courteous. The hotel is not right next to the attractions, but with some comfortable shoes- it was not a problem!

Favorite hotel during our 10 day stay in Germany and Austria. An easy 15 minute walk to down town. Update older hotel that is clean and comfortable with a varied buffet breakfast. Undergoing some remodeling for fire safety, with little or no disturbance. Staff at desk spoke English and were very helpful. The entire hotel was very clean and very well kept. Rooftop sauna, steam room, and patio were very nice. Free internet access was great. Breakfast was very good, although staff was a little rushed one of the mornings we were there. It's easy to access the hotel from the highway, but not as close to the sights as some other hotels (though not too far […] away). 더 보기

Convenient walking distance to everything that you would like to do in Salzburg. Friendly staff and a really good breakfast buffet. They offered a free glas of wine in the afternoon - nice touch.

This is a nice hotel that is close to Mirabell Gardens. Hotel staff is excellent. No restaurant for evening meal but places nearby. No airconditioning which caused us a bit of discomfort due to high tempatures in Salzburg. Somewhat difficult to find ( we came at night) and parking lot is pretty small-but we were OK.

Great mid-range hotel. Good sized rooms with good lay-out (separate dressing area). Fabulous garden adjoins cafe/restaurant with good breakfast spread (cereal, breads, juices, eggs, cold cuts, cheeses, fruits, coffee, tea, etc.). Very helpful and friendly staff. Doesn't have airconditioning though, but that is not an issue if weather is nice (they do […] have a pedestal fan). You have to pay for parking. The Villa was impeccably maintained with beautiful furnishings and super helpful staff who were like top concierges. They helped us secure tickets to the Music Festival on short notice! The room was classy and furnished in contemporary style. Breakfast buffet was also great, overlooking a lovely courtyard and garden. Highly recommend it.

This hotel has a lovely garden where you can relax, eat breakfast, and just enjoy the quiet of location. Our room was modern and spacious. Near the pedestrian area and within 15 minutes walking distance of all the lovely sites in Salzburg. Staff were tremendously helpful, internet was free. Recommend highly.

chose this hotel as we were doing a train trip around Europe. It was a easy 15 min walk from the stn. Located on a quiet back street in a nice areas with lots of villa type housing. The room was very roomy, with plenty of light. Excellent bathroom, with separate toilet. Excellent hotel, highly recommend it. Rooms are fab and decorated in a very contemporary fashion. Flat screen TV, CD player and a iPhone/iPod adaptor in the rooms, well stocked mini-bar. There is a lovely terrace at the back of the hotel where you can enjoy breakfast, a drink or a snack. Hotel also has bicyles that you can have free of charge. We […] cycled around Salzburg and surrounding areas for a day which was one of the highlights of our trip. Hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the Altstadt of Salzberg. Fairly priced for a clean, modern non-smoking room with internet access, flat screen TV, cd/audio system, breakfast, and on-site parking. Paid extra for parking, but worth it. Easy walking access to main attractions. Staff friendly and accomodating. Staff set-up our tour for the next day even with a late evening arrival.

We stayed at the hotel either side of a trip to Innsbruck and couldn't find fault with it. It's an easy 15 min walk from the bus/train station and consists of 2 seperate buildings - the Villa Auersperg and Hotel Auersperg. Our first night was in the Villa and we were told that it has recently been fully refurbished. Our standard double room was clean […] and comfortable with some nice touches like a coffee machine, BluRay player and DAB radio/cd player. The hotel doesn't have a restaurant for evening meals but you can get light snacks at the bar and there are plenty of places a short walk away. Our second night was in the main Hotel and we were given a free upgrade to a bigger room. The rooms weren't drastically different to those of the refurbished Villa and the furniture etc was in good quality. The larger room had a seperate sitting area and a seperate WC to the main bath/shower room. The roof top Spa area of the main Hotel (accessible to all guests) is great. The buffet breakfast was good and the reception staff were friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay there again. 더 보기

Hotel Auersperg was simply the best. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left everything was wonderful. The staff were brilliant, the room clean and comfortable, the breakfasts amazing and the facilities top rate. We would stay nowhere else when (not if) we return to beautiful Salzburg

Sehr freundlicher Empfang, grosszügiges Zimmer mit allem Komfort. Reichhaltige Auswahl beim Frühstück. Günstige Lge durch Nähe zu Altstadt und Bahnhof.

Kaikki kohdallaan! Viihtyisä, siisti, kodikas, intiimi; loistava palvelu, erinomainen aamiainen, rauhallinen mutta keskeinen sijainti sekä komea saunaosasto ja -terassi. Ainoat pienet miinukset tulevat ilmastoinnin puuttumisesta (sekin oli autettu tehokkaalla tuulettimella) ja ravintolan ruokatarjonnan niukkuudella (ja sekin oli autettu lähistön monilla […] hyvillä ravintoloilla). Hotelli on kaksiosainen (hotel & villa), nämä kommentit koskevat siis nimenomaan hotellirakennusta. Huoneessa nro 269 oli pieni, mutta aivan mahtava parveke puutarhan puolelle. Siellä oli mukava syödä illalla mansikoita kuohuviinin kera kymmenien kynttilöiden valaistessa puutarhaa! 더 보기

Super elegantes und gepflegtes Hotel in sehr ruhiger Citylage. Dieses Hotel kann man eigentlich nur empfehlen, denn es hat alles was der Salzburgbesucher erwartet. TOP bitte weiter so. Bis zum nächsten Mal.

Sehr aufmerksamer Service, angenehme Atmosphäre, köstliches Frühstück. Es wird viel Wert auf Kleinigkeiten gelegt, z.B. auf jedem Stock Schalen mit Äpfeln zum Bedienen. Zimmer angenehm komfortabel und sehr sauber. Sehr empfehlenswertes Hotel!
