Have stayed here several times when going home to visit my parents. Location is good, rooms are clean, and price is good.

it was convenient and inexpensive. Could use some updating with the linens and perhaps add some glassware tot he rooms. Overall it was good for a quick trip up north for a night.

overall good stay but beware of the $100 deposit you must pay at check in, our room was already paid for and we still had to pay this.

The Days Inn in Alpena is a clean comfortable room at a reasonable price. I have never been disappointed with a stay here.

To begin with, we were put into a handicapped room which was smaller than most of the others we were in that weekend. The shower didn't work right, my husband had to hold on to the shower head while I showered. The floor wasn't sloped right for the shower so the whole bathroom floor got soaked with every shower. The shower curtain wasn't long enough […] for the shower. VERY little space to hang clothes up. The only outlets were in the bathroom which didn't really help with the laptop. We had to go down to the front desk and get a plunger and unplug our own toilet. My daughter went to the front desk to ask for some salt so I could gargle for my throat and the worker was really snotty about it, like she was inconvenienced. 더 보기

Good basic hotel to stay in Alpena. However, there is no elevator - so keep that in mind if you require one. Ask for a room on the first floor in the new section. Shopping (Walmart) is practically next door as is Applebee's.

They could use new mattress on the bed or filp them more often.

Hotels.com said mini kitchen, there was none. Breakfast was not much to eat and not enough room to serve yourself. The road to the motel was under construction so hard to find and we had 2 beds..one extrememly LUMPY and one just right. The lumpy one was the one directly in front of the tv, too.

I just needed a place to "hang my hat" at night while I was visiting and attending a wedding. The room was clean and comfortable enough. Continental breakfast was served and was ample. Staff was friendly and helpful. Some wear and tear in the room and common areas determined the loss of "one star".

The guest service was great. Everyone was friendly. The breakfast was very good, rooms clean and quiet. Location was great. Walk to restaurants, wal-mart, Home depot, plus ther were walking trails that started right in front of the hotel. JUst a good experience.

The staff works very hard to give it's guests a fine experience. Breakfast was great, cleanliness was superb. They were very friendly and accommodating.

I WAS PLEASANTLY SURPRISED BY THE CLEANLINESS OF THE ROOMS: BEDS AND BATHROOM. THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL LITTLE HOTEL LOCATED JUST FOUR MILES FROM THE AIRPORT, NEAR REALLY GOOD RESTAURANTS. THE BREAKFAST IN THE MORNING AT THE HOTEL WAS GREAT. I WOULD ADVISE EATING AT THE HOTEL AS IT SAVED ME MONEY FROM EATING OUT. Just like all the others. For the price, you cant beat it if your just there to sleep.

This hotel is supposed to have wireless internet service. On the first day the internet service worked fine. On the second day the internet service worked fine. On the third day the internet service stopped working and did not work for the remaining three days of our stay. Everything else about the hotel was good, but being unable to access the internet […] for three days is not acceptable service. The hotel was conveniently located. We were visiting relatives who live in a nearby town. The hotel was clean but devoid of any amenities. The bed were hard an uncomfortable. The walls were thing and you could hear every person who walked by. The air conditioner was so loud and it was hard to get it to evenly regulate the air. It was either a little […] to cold or a little to hot. The pool area was dank. It was dark, did not look clean and it had a strong "pool" odor. Also it was so hot. We wanted to sit outside to enjoy the nice weather, but they did not yet put out the outdoor seating. So we left and visited the different sites until our family event. 더 보기

the hotel is very clean and the help is very good the beds are one of the most comfortable beds that i have ever found in all of my travels at a hotel

I loved the service from the staff, the were helpful and extremely nice. I thouroughly enjoyed the staff and our stay. The only concen I had was that I was told to pay an incidental deposit that I was not prepared for, which took from our spending money.

The hotel was what I expected for a Days Inn. They had a nice pool and spa. They staff was very nice.

I realy enjoyed my stay at the Days Inn - Alpena. The folks there were very friendly. The location and parking were excellent, and there was a decent amount of restaurants and stores right by the hotel. I would definitely stay again.

I was very impressed with my overall stay! Everyone was very accommodating and pleasant! But I must say, the bathroom was one of the nicest ones I've seen in a very long time. Yes, its that nice! The hotel is nice and basic. We had to walk a ways to the pool, but that was okay. There were towels at the front desk for the pool, so you didn't have to take them from your hotel room and worry about leaving them there (and getting charged for lost towels!). The hallway right outside our room smelled of smoke. I really hate that. They need to completely seal off the smoking section from the rest of the building or ban it altogether.

The room was very clean, the staff was exceptional, we were very pleased with our stay.

Not horrible but not great. You get what you pay for.
