If we hadn't stayed at that Hampton Inn before, we would have walked out after the registration process that night. We arrived well dressed for dinner and as we stood in front of the registration desk with our suitcases, the clerk asked (with attitude), "Can I help you with something?" I would have thought the suitcases and 10 pm hour would have given […] her a clue but apparently not. From there it went downhill. All of her requests were delivered with condescension and impatience. Also she asked for some things we have never been required to present. We had to show our credit card, photo ID and give a telephone number as well as the make, model and license number of our vehicle. We questioned why all that was necessary since our room was already paid for through hotels.com. She promptly corrected us saying it was not hotels.com, it was Expedia because hotels.com is actually owned by Expedia. While she was very thorough in extracting information from us she failed to offer what the clerks the previous week at the same hotel offered. There was no offer of refreshments and cookies in the lobby and no mention of where or when breakfast which was included in our fee, would be served. Needless to say she neither welcomed us or wished us a pleasant stay. Not the person you want on the front line. 더 보기

The lobby and food areas were under construction. If I had known that prior I might have chosen another hotel. They did hold breakfast in one of their meeting rooms, and they did the best to keep everything running smooth. All should be done by end of March. Also, it was very difficult to keep a wireless internet connection. The signal was not strong […] but disconnected many times (every couple of minutes). I did call the front desk and they told me they received other complaints and were looking into it. I was there on pleasure, so not a big deal and I do not know what was resolved as I was only there for three nights. Other than that, the staff was friendly and rooms were clean. It was very pleasant to find a decent hotel in a good neighborhood which was quiet, allowed pet with no added fee, pleasant staff.

I'm sure when the renovation is completed, the physical plant will be even nicer.

The hotel was nice and gave me a feel for what the area was like. I'm from NY and didnt realize how many turtles and crabs are native to Annapolis. but the hotel had sailboat pictures and a mini turtle statue by the fireplace. it was nice overall. the only thing i would recommend they fix is that the door to my room didnt shut all the way & lock unless […] i pushed it closed & heard the click. other than that it was nice 더 보기

Great with pets, great service. Breakfast not so good. cold food, even when coming out from kitchen.

My son was getting married in Annapolis on Oct. 29, so a few family members stayed at the hotel to get ready for the wedding. All the staff were so generous and patient with allowing us space at a table in the lobby to make crafts for the wedding. We basically took up that corner of the lobby all day on Friday, Oct. 28. The morning of the wedding, it […] was raining so hard and one of your front desk employees actually ran out in the rain to retrieve my car at the back of the parking lot so that I wouldn't get wet before the wedding. The breakfast in the morning was great for the kids that were with us and we very pleased with everything. The only problems we had was that the bottom sheet on the king-size bed kept coming off and seemed to be stretched out so it did not fit right anymore. Also, the drawing in the low desk below the TV was broken and kept falling out. I actually cut my hand trying to get it back on track. No one that came in to clean the room tried to fix it, so we just had to deal with it carefully each day so that it wouldn't fall out. Outside of that, we'd stay again. Thanks. 더 보기

We stayed at this hotel because of the ammenities they provided. We do a fall road trip every year and really have our needs/wants clearly defined. I look for places with: Free wifi, hot breakfast, (not continental), refridgerators & microwaves. Hampton Inn was one of the few that provided ALL of them. We even got a daily newspaper. One of the first […] things I looked for was how clean the room was and I looked for any signs of bugs or iffy maid service. Saw none of either. Room was very clean every day. Clearly this was a "business man's" hotel but we were more than fine with that. Because iof this fact it may not be in the ideal tourist location but we were still no more than a 5-10 min ride to most of the things we wanted to do. I do not know if they offered a shuttle to the downtoan area (a good idea if they dont) but we never heard of any and parking is non existant down by the water, escpecially of you were there during boat week the way we were. Got taken on a parking garage that was NO WHERE NEAR THE DOCKS and still had to walk a ton. Not good buisness Annapolis but that was not the hotel. Like I said, A shuttle to down town woul hve been great. Lots of great places to eat. Highly recommend the Double T diner just down the road. This hotel is quite convenient to USNA. I have stayed here a number of times, and consistently have been pleased. There seem to be a large number of USNA parents at this hotel, so a popular choice.

The hotel had electrical/lighting problems the first night we were scheduled to arrive - sent to Hilton. Second night outside lights again not working - extremely dark walking from parked car to hotel - hotel could/should have provided temporary external lights... Also, when the A/C was off, there was a sour smell in the room - we checked everything […] but could not find the source. A/C again on and the smell was covered up. 더 보기

We just stayed in this hotel - twice. And for multiple days! We can't say enough great things about it! Fabulous location, close to EVERYTHING and yet easy to get to and from. Great PET POLICY! Great STAFF! GREAT EVERYTHING!

We really loved this hotel - the king suite with kitchen was wonderful! It was like an apartment with a small kitchen, which we used to make a home cooked meal for our Naval Academy Midshipmen - what a wonderful surprise for her! Definitely a place we will continue to stay at every time we visit our Midshipmen!

The hotel was outdated. Our room had a gross smell. The hotel is close to downtown, but is not in an overly attractive area. Overall, very ok. I would go somewhere else next time!

Closely located to Navy where many many seafood site seeing locations. Around the corner from downtow Annapolis. A must see for an overnight or extended stay. Will definitely be visiting soon.

Over the past few years, I have come to prefer staying at Hampton Inns and have always been very satisfied. This one didn't quite fill the bill. It started out with being booked twice for the same room. It was quickly cleared up though. One of the reasons I like Hampton Inns is that the rooms don't have a "motel" smell. This one had a not so pleasing […] odor. We had a two-night stay. Our room was not cleaned and we had to request dry towels. One of the staff came into our room without us opening the door to give us a new cable channel guide which obviously could have been slipped under the door. I was shocked. When we called down to the desk to say that our room hadn't been cleaned and we needed new towels, this woman again came into our room right before we could answer the knock. If I hadn't been in the middle of helping my daughter get ready for her wedding, I would have definitely gone to the manager. When the boy came with the towels, he ogled all of the bridesmaids in the room instead of just dropping off the towels and leaving. Having said all of that, the staff was very friendly. It wasn't the worst motel I've ever stayed in, but it definitely wasn't up to the standards that I'm used to for the Hampton Inns. 더 보기

everybody was helpful, positive and cheerful, as they are expected to be. the hotel and room were clean, neat and well appointed. the only negative was a slow and cranky elevator. It was a pleasant to have a pizza and pasta snack/meal in the lobby on Thursday evening. My son was thrilled.

We spent over a week in this hotel and we were treated like family the whole time. The entire staff was helpful and courteous and did all they could to make our stay a pleasant one. We would definately recommend it to anyone needing a place to stay near the Naval Academy and will stay there the next time we are in the area.

Above average breakfast for this class of hotel. Easy access to the freeway, just a short drive to harbor.

I was there for just one night. The hotel was in a nice quiet area, just the right distance from town and only a few minutes from the dock :o) It was a beautiful and spacious room!

We had a nice and pleasant stay at the Hampton Inn Annapolis. The room was spacious and very clean. The staff was as usual in the Hamptons Inn Hotels very friendly and helpful. Our room was a smoking room what we didn’t like. However, even they had a full house they managed to give us a non-smoking room. We really appreciated!

Room was spacious, clean, and staff were very friendly. Hotel off the main streets but close to shopping and restraunts. Easy to access historical locations.

During a recent "road trip" with my son, we traveled from Boston to Annapolis to S. Carolina and back.Along the way we stayed@ Hampton Inns. At both locations we were greeted and cared for by friendly staff.Breeakfast and other ammenities were great. We would go out of our way to stay there again!!!!

We had a wedding to attend on a Sunday and needed to be ready by 12:30pm, we read on the website that check-out was 11AM. I called in advance to get an early check in because we were going to be arriving at 11AM driving in from out of town. I was told to call back closer to the reservation date so I did, they were not very helpful. Ultimately we arrived […] at 11AM and were told that they could not clean or "turn-over" a room until about 2PM for the 3PM check in time. The front desk told us they didnt know how long it took for housekeeping to clean rooms and that they started after 11AM.....so we ended up getting dressed in the lobby bathroom!! Then the next morning (Mon) we get a knock on the door at 9AM from housekeeping to clean the room, and check out was at 11AM!!! C'mon....so housekeeping is up bright and early the next day but not on the day we needed an early check in...terrible. And the front desk staff didnt offer any options or at least make it seem as if they were making an attempt to accomodate us. 더 보기

The hotel was very nice and comfortable yet affordable. I was in the area for a conference and have to stay at the Lowes Hotel. I was going to stay at Lowes for the remainder of my stay, when I found that the Hampton Inn offered half the price than Lowes. I had two double bed at Lowes and wish for a king bed, which they dont have. I took a chance and […] booked at Hampton Inn. I was really surprise that my room, with a king bed, is more comfortable and nicer than my room at Lowes. Wish I could have book it here for my conference instead of at Lowes. 더 보기

Walls are paper thin, I could hear everything going on next door... Front desk staff not so friendly either.

I can't tell you how pleased I was with our experience at Hampton Inn Annapolis. It was so much more than the convenient location and comfortable room. Our family occupied 7 rooms and we able to gather in the "living room" whenever we wanted. The couch and fireplace made it so cozy. The staff were wonderful; since we stayed for 5 days I think we met […] them all. The food was fantastic - full breakfast and a filling 6pm "snack". The housekeeping staff were so polite and moved out of our way as we went down the hallways. The Business Center saved me from a trip to Kinkos. There was even a pool table for the guys to hang out around. Clean, friendly, etc. etc. 5 stars plus! 더 보기

Only reason for a couple non-5 remarks - they have some construction in progress. They have done a good job of containing the noise / mess and such, but well.....some just cannot be helped. Overall - good hotel, and the construction in no way affected the stay. They do like over-warm rooms, but that is easily remedied.

Close to shopping and restaurants! Comfortable,cozy room with an amazing bed! Staff was very polite and helpful, Very nice to have breakfast included with stay.
