This is a very nice hotel and the front desk staff very accommodating. I only had one complaint and that was the room had a piece of candy (lifesaver type) and a used napkin under the bed. We picked it up, and the other thing was I scrutinize sheets, etc. There was a small hardened piece of candy on the sheet. I called the front desk and they came right […] up with the replacement sheets. The indoor pool and hot tub were great! And it's right off the tollway ramp, McDonald's, Outback Steakhouse, Joe's Crabshack, Olive Garden and IHOP, as well as a huge classy Antique Mall are located within walking distance. Verry nice and convenent.

Hotel was very convenient for all our needs. Rooms were just the right size; pool was nice for the family to swim. Breakfast was filling, warm. Close to restaurants and easy on and off highway access. Definitely recommend for anyone staying in Gurnee area.

The staff was friendly but we had to ask for towels daily since they kept taking four and leaving two. Breakfast was OK but it ran out of items quickly but if asked the staff would refill. When attempting to check out waited for about 10 minutes, made two phone calls, and eventually had to find the front desk clerk to check out. I only stayed one night in Gurnee this time, but it was just perfect for me!

Very pleasant . Only complaints slight smell of smokers in halls & wireless Internet is slow !

The hotel is in the most perfect location. Close to good restaurants, the mall, Six Flags Great America, the highway. The room was big even has a refrigerator and microwave in the room. The price was reasonable. I would highly recommend this hotel to others.

When checking in, we had some unexpected last minute changes to our reservations and the hotel clerk was very accommodating and helpful and although we couldn’t get all of our changes made, due to reasons beyond anyone's control, they did as much as they could very quickly & were very friendly about it. STAYED AT LA QUINTA IN GURNEE IL FOR MY SON'S NAVY GRADUATION. WE WERE VERY SATISFIED WITH THE ROOM, SERVICE AND LOCATION OF HOTEL.

No heat in the room and no working hot tub. Room was clean and inexpensive. Service was okay, but nothing special. Would try another hotel next time I stay in gurnee

Very small room, no microwave or mini fridge. Very little room to move around. Double beds are to small for two adults had to sleep with my daughter and husband slept with son.

This hotel met all of our needs for a visit with our family. It was clean, quiet and the breakfast was fresh and had a lot of variety. it was very close to the freeway and main roads which made it convenient to get to places of interest.

Right off the road that avoids tolls through Chicago. Hotel was spotless and the pool and hot tub were well maintained. Loved the skyway and the hot tub was spacious which you cant really tell from the photo. Only thing I'd change is it would be nice if the pool was open later than 10am.

Nice clean room. Very comfortable. Breakfast was fine. There were a lot of stores and restaurants nearby as well as 6 Flags. We thought this was a great deal.

The location is a big plus for this hotel as well as the value. The train is close and Grant Park is just across the street.

Great Value, close to major attractions and resturants.

Toilet overflowed on first night. Staff was quick to fix it but didn't change room as they were fully booked. After toilet water got on the carpet, I felt disgusted to walk on the carpet which seemed need of replacement. I give it an overall rating of 2 and would stay here again if I have no other choice for the price.

We stayed here a few years ago and this hotel has gone downhill since... I guess time and wear and tear has it effect. Husband is allergic to down and they could not provide non allergenic pillows. The breakfast sucked, pretty much only waffles. Didn't have peanut butter, and had to alert the worker that they were completely out of coffee (3 carafes). […] The elevator was extremely slow, most of the time we took the stairs to our room on the 4th floor. We were also surprised that the room didn't have fridge and micro like most hotels now. The only perk is that it is convienient to Great America, Gurnee Mills Mall and local restaurants. 더 보기

Room was clean and comfortable--though the rollaway left very little floor space when laid out. Decent area around hotel--plenty of local and chain restaurants. VERY close to Six Flags. How about I GET ONE because I called and RESERVED it about a week ago?? (Luckily for me (or him??) one was available and I didn't have to get uppity. :) I felt the hotel was often poorly staffed. On the morning of my departure, there was only one man behind the desk. While I waited for the waffle mix to be refilled, I went to check out--not realizing the same guy was doing all of these duties. Loved the hotel! Room was comfortable and clean. Great location! Close to restaurants and 6 flags. Kids loved the pool and I loved the hot tub. Breakfast was filling and a wide variety for anyone. Everyone at the desk was really nice and helpful. I will be staying here again if I'm ever in the area again!

The beds were very comfortable. It is located conveniently near Six Flags. The waffles were delicious. The pool area was in need of some repairs.

The hotel is awesome!Very clean rooms, close to attractions,and has a great complimentary breakfast.The whole family loved the waffles!

While check in was easy with the hotels.com reservation, our room was not clean. There was hair in the shower. Floor had food on it and it had an odor. They closed the breakfast early and took away the waffle materials while we were actually making one! Would rather pay more and stay somewhere else next time.

Was a nice place. Good deal for the money. Close to great america. Walking distance to the restaurants. Room was ok. Mini fridge whoch was nice. Air didnt get very cold. Small tv and small blow dryer. You get what you paid for the pool and hot tub were clean. Didnt stay for teh complimentary breakfast because cracker barrel is next door but its a nice […] perk. The La Quinta Inn is the perfect family place to crash after a long day at Six Flags. Nice staff, clean rooms, decent pool and hot tub and good breakfast. Great for a family on a tight budget!!

We had 2 rooms reserved for 4 days during the 4th of july weekend. the hotel was very clean, very well maintained and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I don't have a single complaint. The only suggestion is to leave the pool/hot tub open later than 10pm.. After spending the day walking around at six flags, you get kinda sore and want to […] relax in the pool. The 10pm closing time is a bit limiting.. midnight would be more reasonable but we can't have it all, right ? the rooms were very well kept, very clean. The staff was more than extremely helpful. Very close to six flags.. even during their generous continental breakfast, the food was very good and always kept stocked up. The staff did an amazing job. The hotel was fine, but not great. The cleanliness and appearance was very good. Several staff members were difficult. They seemed to resent that we purchased the hotel rooms through hotel.com. I had called the hotel before purchasing and the girl at the front desk assured me that every room with two doubles also had a double pull out couch. This was […] not true and it was the reason we chose the hotel. We interacted with four staff members over two days and two of them were very friendly while the other two were condescending and difficult. We did not even mention that we expected a double pull -out because they did not seem approachable. It was okay. Next time we go to Six Flags Chicago we will try and different hotel in the area. 더 보기

Hotel was good, clean, noisey bathroom light fan should have diff switch. Breakfast too early, should end atleast 10:00, need more hot selections; Eggs, bacon saugage.... overall good stay, good location

I was quite surprised by this hotel. My previous stays with La Quinta haven't been anything to write home about but this one was different. From the kind employee who checked our group in to the comfort of our room and the proximity to everything we were there to do, this was a great pick! stayed at the end of april 2011 and staff was friendly and efficient; room was clean; they will give you a free pass to the Golds Gym, which is across the street (2 min drive) and it has all the equipment you could ever hope for, plus a sauna and pool; bring your headphones though!
