our first room had mold in the bathroom ...we did not know it was a pet friendly hotel and there was a very large dog upstairs from us in our new room and we were by the stairs and kids up and down till 2 am and the dog barking all night..........ugh.....I WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN NOR WILL I LET MY FAMILY STAY HERE IT IS A DUMP FOR WHAT YOU PAY

It was a very nice hotel. Clean and near great places to eat. Unfortunately we were unlucky to have an A/C unit not working...........otherwise great place.

The room was very nice, clean, smelled clean. Loved the updated flat panel tv. People were nice, very friendly. Just an anniversary get-a-way w my husband. Loved it, will do it again!

The hotel was in a great location which was near the interstae and to different types of restuarants. It was great to have a mall within a 10 minute drive from the hotel. The room was extremely clean with a very comfortable bed/pillows. Although I didn't have time to use the pool/whirlpool, it was a nice size and clean. The only problem that I had with […] the hotel was the area used for breakfast was extremely small and crowded even when I went back twice. We were coming into town very late, like 3am late. I had called ahead to tell them this and was assured it would not be a problem. However wehn I tried to check in, the process was extremely delayed because they couldn't find our reservation. Finally after some hunting the clerk did find it and said it took so long because they thought we weren't coming […] and cleared our reservation. Not a big deal and it was remedied. However at 3 am, and having taken the time earlier to assure that this wouldn't happen, having to deal with it was mildly annoying. The hotel was clean, in decent shape, convienently located. However, it REEKED of smoke. We had a "non-smoking" king bed room that someone had obviously be smoking in previously and probably recently. The smell was in the pillows and the mattress, we smelled like smoke after sleeping in that bed. Neither my husband or I are smokers and therefore were disgusted. The hotel lobby also smelled very strongly of smoke. Bottom line, if you are smoker, book it. If not, you may be better off somewhere else. 더 보기

Although the indoor pool was shut down for maintenance, this hotel was over all very clean and comfortable. The staff was more than accommodating, allowing me to check in early, giving directions, and promptly ordering a cab for me upon request. Clean and quiet. Bathroom small. Close to Interstate 80 for ease of travel. Shops, drug stores and restaurants within a few miles.

I wasn't satisfied with the stay overall. I liked the setting of the room and the location and the clerk, but other than that is was not a good stay. There was no trash bags in trash cans. There was no kleenex. The room smelled like feet. The toilet didnt work and we called and no one fixed it we had to. Their was maintenance going on that was extremely […] loud and annoying . We stayed here one night on a big family raodtrip. this is a good choice for those who don't want to stay IN chicago. We drove into chicago for the day and headed west after seeing the sites. this LaQuinta was convenient, clean, comfortable, as a re nearly all La Quintas.

We stayed here to see a concert at the Midwest band amphitheater. It is surrounded by restaurants, a few walking distance and gas station. Hotel was very clean, and staff were very friendly. Check in and check out couldn't have been smoother. Complimentary breakfast had a variety of food, and a nice seating area. Wifi is really only available in the […] Lobby and downstairs seating area but there is a ethernet jack in each room to plug your computer in for internet. HD tvs in each room with on screen guide was nice. The pool and hot tube was nothing exciting but was great after the car ride to cool off and relax. I didnt like the bed and pillows , also the sheets had holes on them,my pillow had a stain on it. The pool was nice but couldve used a cleaning, film on top of water. It was a nice hotel, but may stay somewhere else

Good location for our family visit. Room was clean. We liked the microwave and refridgerator in the room. People at front desk were very friendly and helpful.

We were in town for a wedding, and the staff here was so accommodating! They helped us to set up one of our three rooms for an extended stay so we could all have somewhere to stay before the wedding (to get ready and such). They also made sure to send a cab to O'Hare to pick up someone from our party since the cab company wasn't responding to my phone […] calls. Comfortable mattresses, seemed recently remodeled. I stayed at this hotel for a concert at the Midwest Bank Ampitheatre. It was conveniently located only 1.5 miles from the venue, had a liquor store, gas station and many restaurant choices within a mile or two as well. Friendly staff and comfortable room! The price was very reasonable also. I would definitely stay here again!

The hotel staff here are very friendly. My room was not ready at 5 when I arrived, but she checked me in and gave me a key so that I could return later and just go to my room. The pool area was clean and warm. They let me bring my grandson over to swim with us. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a nice stay for a great price.

as I arrived I slipped in the wet tile floor, all I was told was to look out it gets slippery when wet, I suggested perhaps a carpet runner or a wet floor sign...they said, oh yea....the room was not ready, I had to wait 30 minutes for the room to be cleaned. The tv in the room was going out, the picture was very dark. The lights in the swimming pool […] were not on, I had to ask the front desk to turn on the lights. they didn't turn them on till an hour later, one hour before closing. Not a quiet place. Very noisy.

When I reserve a room for a girls overnight getaway, and I reserve a smoking room, I expect a smoking room. This is the second time I was not given a smoking room. By the same woman behind the desk. I will not stay here anymore since I can't be given what I ask for.

Our stay at this motel in tinley,Park ,IL was the greatest we all enjoyed our selves hope to spend many more weekends there with the family .Wereally enjoyed the pool and hot tub!!!!!

I like staying here for location. Have stayed here a couple of times. This time, I wasn't too happy. I booked for 2 nights, first night the husband and kids were staying, second night was my birthday and I had a couple of friends that were coming to go out with me and stay the night. When I checked in I told the girl that I booked smoking and she looked […] at my kids and said "REALLY?" I explained that the kids were leaving the next day and my 2 girlfriends were coming to go out and that was the reason for the smoking. She told me I could change rooms the next day. That really kind of made me mad! It's not up to her where my children sleep! And the guy taking care of the breakfast area was kind of rude! I will stay here again because of price and location but I won't visit the breakfast area again! 더 보기

The room smelled like smoke. We should have complained and moved to another room, but we didn't. There were lots of kids staying at the hotel, so the pool was packed and the hotel was a bit noisey. Continental breakfast was OK, but nothing to brag about. I would go back, but make sure I got a non-smoking room next time. The price was right!

I took my kids to this particular hotel because I like LaQuinta Hotels and this one had a pool. I had to be moved from the first room because the TV didn't work. The blower in the bathroom allowed cigarette smoke into the entire room. The beds were firm and uncomfortable. I had a miserable time.

Great room, great service. All was expected. Wireless was extremely slow, however, and was not compatible with my laptop's wireless adapter causing it to shut down unexpectedly. (Wireless network should be secured, not unsecured. Locations like this are prime targets for data thieves who listen in for email and Facebook passwords, etc.) My only small […] gripe is that the parking lot is poorly designed, with a lack of apparent signage indicating that the drive circles around and parking is available on the other side of the building. Once on the other side of the building, no apparent entrances to the hotel exist, so we had to walk all the way back around the building. This was kind of annoying in a sleet storm! We really only spent 5 hours in the hotel. Was a pretty nice hotel for the price. For a quick travel this hotel is perfect! Breakfast wasn't so great! Too many people in the breakfast area made it impossible to get anything. All our group was able to get was coffee and orange juice.

Overall an okay experience. The room was nice, no issues at all. Breakfast was good also. Waffle iron, fresh coffee and juice and a decent sitting area. Tried to call ahead to let hotel know friend was checking in for me, even though reservation was in my name. After being told it wasn't their policy to let someone check in and asking to speak to manager, […] I was put on hold for 15 minutes before I finally hung up and called back. Then I was told the Manager would call me back. That never happened. I was at a wedding and it was inconvenient for me to leave to check in myself; hence the call ahead. The lady was so focused on not letting someone else sign the credit card authorization, that she was not willing to consider the alternatives I offered. She did not appear to be customer focused at all. I did end up leaving between the wedding and reception to go check in myself. The front desk clerk didn't apologize, she just dismissed the whole scenario. As I was leaving, I saw a sign stating they strive to get 5/5 in all areas and if the rating was not a 5, to let the Manager know. Everything was really nice- I was really surprised at how modern all the decor was. The only thing was that when we got their the hallway smelled like a skunk!

Bed was uncomfortable, had to ask house cleaning and front desk to clean my room/provide towels 5 times, towels were not soft-almost scratchy, no ice in any of the ice machines, all the vending machines took our $, the TV didn't have good channel selection at all, and the one decent channel didn't have sound. I left my camera battery charger there […] on accident and have had to call back numerous times to get someone to tell me they found it, not to mention wait on hold for 10 minutes the first time, she forgot about me so I had to call back, then was suppose to call me back again and didn't, told the lady if it was a big deal I'd pay for it - she didn't know of course (nor did she offer) - and that's how it's been left, she's suppose to call me back:( On the positive side there was a fridge and micro in the room...oh yea and internet was free......but too slow to actually do anything on it. 더 보기

I chose to stay at this hotel because my normal hotel in TInley Park had increased the rates by 200% because of NASCAR races in Joliet, IL. I was surprised to learn through Hotels.com that I would get a rate at this LaQinta for the same rate I had gotten at my other hotel. However, the LaQuinta gave me a handicapped accessible room that they could not […] book for the weekend. The toilet would not fully flush, and the shower head was broken, so I had to hand bathe. When I went to complain, I could not find anyone at the front desk. When I checked in, the front desk clerk acted like this was his first day and could not explain anything about my room or the hotel to me. This was the worst hotel experience of my life! 더 보기
