컴포트 인 메인게이트 (Comfort Inn Maingate) - 샌더스키

My reservatins got changed because the hotel was closed during the week stayed at the Comfort Inn down the street and it was a very nice stay. The continental breakfast was good and the pool and jacuzzi were enjoyable!

The entrance to the park is close to the hotel but don't think you can walk to the ticket booth. You have to drive three more miles to the parking lot.

The beds were like sleeping on the floor... very very hard... said remodeled on the web site... maybe jus painted over all the mold.. the whole one wall half way up was cover in mold.. the smell was horrific

The hotel wasn't much to talk about on the outside, but the rooms were nice. We didn't spend much time at the hotel because we were at the park, but overall it was a good nights stay and the hot breakfast was a plus; not fabulous but it was worth what we paid.

Great hotel at a respectable price. Rooms were recently remodeled and looked nice. We were on the east side of the hotel, which didn't have a parking lot and was adjacent to fenced property next door. Parking our motorcycles on the other side of the hotel made me a little nervous but had no problems. Service was good and the Breakfast was great! The pool on the otherhand could have been cleaned or at least have the filter running. Accesibility to Cedar Point and surounding atractions was ideal for our trip. All in all it was a decent stay.

Our hotel room was awful. There were bugs all throughout the room especially in the bathroom. The sheets had stains on them and hairs from whoever had stayed there previously. They were obviously not washed because some of the stains were still wet looking. I did not feel comfortable enough in our own room to take off my shoes or socks. There were huge […] spider webs and spiders all around the gate of the pool and we had gotten bug bites just from sitting beside the pool. The floor of the pool at the hotel was also very slimy and slippery. The continental breakfast would probably have been okay if there was more room to move around and a bigger selection. There were way too many people crammed in a tiny little room for the continental breakfast all trying to get food at the same time and there was no space to really move around without bumping into another guest. There weren't enough tables to sit at in the breakfast area so we had to either stand up to eat or take our food to our room. I feel like this hotel room was a rip off and a total waste of our money. It was a very average place, breakfast was good, room could have been a bit cleaner. Front desk were very accomodating.

Close to cedar point attraction and other resturants.

We were able to secure our room approximately 2 ours before check-in, the desk clerk was very nice. The room decor was very dark & drab which would cover up any dirt. There were bugs in the 1 corner of the room, there was only 1 roll of toilet paper which was almost gone by the time we left. There was no light between the beds and no light in the area […] to hang clothes or set your suitcase. The amenities were very small & not replaced daily. When coming back to the room on the 2nd night we found that the key did not work and had to go the office to get it re-scanned. Each bed consisted of 4 small pillows which were very uncomfortable. Good location.This hotel is well worth the money and had a wonderful hot breakfast. Nice hotel other than May Flies smashed on the walls in the room that could use to be wiped off. Very comfortable stay in decent area.

At first we did not want to stay due to the outward appearance but once we looked at the room it seemed to be updated and clean. I would say it was over priced for the accommodation. I would look else where if I came back in the area.

Only stay here if you have a bio-hazard suit on hand. Absolutely filthy. Rooms are supposed to be remodeled but nothing screams "new" about it. Hotel staff is friendly but that's the only positive. Will NEVER stay here again. It's a shame too because it's close to Cedar Point. Very dissapointed.
