Stayed on two occasions in one week and the first stay was on the 1st floor and everything was acceptable except for a dead cockroach in the corner of our room. Second occasion was not acceptable. Although the surrounding neighborhood is "sketchy" I could NOT be happier with the La Quinta, the entire facility was spotless, the rooms up to date, the staff friendly and the complimentary breakfast quite sufficient! For the cost and great experience was well worth the SMALL price. If I require lodging in this area again, it will be La Quinta!

At best this hotel was subpar from the LaQuinta Inns I am accustomed. Upon arrival I noticed an aged building in need of an overhaul and deep cleaning. The room was cleaner than the lobby, but improvements are needed throughout.

My husband and I stayed 4 nights here while attending our son's Army Basic graduation. I was pleasantly surprised at the hotel. The rooms were very clean and the beds comfortable. The front desk, house cleaning and maintanence crew were friendly as well. This was a great experience for us.

The Hotel is very convenient for Basic Training or AIT Graduations, but that is all. Room was never serviced during 4 day stay. Breakfast was terrible and overcrowded in a very small space. If your on a tight budget, this is the only hotel in that area I would stay in. It was a bit cramped and wasn't as clean. Service was ok, nothing to write home about. Ok for a stay over, wouldn't plan to stay there for a vacation.

Not what I was expecting from an overall "excellent" rating it was given on the website I booked it on. Will not stay there again. Hotel was a bit run down and our room was filthy in a few areas. I brought up the fact that the room needed to be cleaned in specific areas and no one bothered to address the issue and clean it.

I enjoyed staying there. It was well worth the money. Would stay there again. In fact, I am going back in April for my daughters, AIT graduation. The staff was helpful and the breakfast didn't run out.

We stayed in the hotel for the Fort Jackson graduation, it was comfortable and nice for the price. Breakfast was simple, and after that I don't want more waffles any time soon. Haha Besides that, it was all good and very well located.

The hotel itself was very nice. The rooms were very clean and updated. We chose this chain because we were moving and needed a halfway point that allowed pets. The rooms did not smell at all like animals which was great. Staff were very nice. However, the surrounding neighborhood is very run down and kinda scary. We heard sirens all night.

The smell of the hotel was overwhelming....suppose to be smoke free but was overwhelming smokey smelling. Probably would benefit to rebuild on this land. Once something had been smoked in...its done. There was also black mold on the shower curtain and standing water in the shower.

We choose to stay at LaQuinta because we travel with our 15 lb Bichon/Poodle Rudy and he stays for free. We appreciate that aspect of our reservation.

Typical La Quinta. Nothing special. Breakfast was disappointing as they ran out of a few things within the first hour. Expedia didn't show a pet fee for this hotel- SURPRISE, there is a PET FEE. Maybe someone should update the info?

The exterior of the hotel didn't look very promising, but we were pleasantly surprised at the interior, especially the guestrooms. I was there for my son's basic training gradutation. Beds were comfortable and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Did not like the single cup coffee makers in the room, need at least the small 4 cup makers.

I stayed at a very nice La Quinta in Macon, Georgia, but they didn't have WIFI in-room, nor did the hard wire have good bandwidth. This La Quinta seems to be renovated over a previous chain. You know it's La Quinta, but just not as nice as one built from scratch. Still, I would rather have the good HDTV and good WIFI bandwidth!

We ended up not staying at this motel. They had said we could bring our yorkies but when we got there they said if we brought them inside we would have to pay a $250 fine. The lady at the desk was not nice at all. The place seemed dirty also. Woud never stay here. Would not recommend it at all.

Was very upset to come back to my hotel room after a day with my solider and find that my room had not been cleaned AT ALL!! When I asked for the manager, I was informed by the front desk clerk that the manager was not there. They did not even try to compensate or ask if they could come up and clean really quick!!! This is highly unacceptable.
