I've stayed at the U. Inn several times. I was disappointed with this stay only because my room was in the older part of the Inn, which I have never stayed in (it was a dull and drabby room). I lived with it since I'm only there to sleep. I will stay here again because it is the perfect location in the U district/East Lake area but may have to go through […] the hotel/Inn to make sure I dont get this type of room again. 더 보기

Love this hotel. Love the location. Friendly Staff, Clean room. The only thing I was a little disappointed in was the mattress. Large fluffly pillows, but one look at the bed made me think that the mattress may not be the best one i've slept on. I was right. We really like this hotel. Close to the University, free parking and easy access to I5. Helpful staff, good quick breakfast and Starbucks coffee.

I like staying at the University Inn when I'm in Seattle because it's clean, convenient, great breakfast, and the windows open. This last stay was the only time where there was an ongoing lound crackling sound coming from the heater, even though I had it turned off. I like to stay at the University Inn when I have Dr. appointments at the Univeristy Hospital or at Harborview. The parking is free. There is a shuttle across the street that connects to the Hospitals. There are good restraunts within walking distance. The rooms are large and clean. There is a fridge and a microwave. We had read the comments about this hotel and expected a clean but worn down hotel. Instead we found a modern hotel with the friendliest staff I have ever met. We had a spacious room with two sinks, microwave and mini-fridge. More than ok breakfast, parking in the backyard and a crib for our baby - all included and no extra charges. Nice, clean and very pleased as we had a Dr. appointment which was right across the street. We had stayed there one other time and the staff was very friendly and helpfull. The only down side is that the breakfast bar dosen't really have much to offer.

A very fine, comfortable, clean hotel with accommodating staff.

The hotel was nicer than I expected. Clean, friendly and well maintained. The problem was that the University area was much less bustling than I had hoped. This hotel is a great choice if you need to be in that area, otherwise I suggest downtown. Just more to do.

We could not be more PLEASED by the amazing service we received at the University Inn. Not only was the hotel perfectly located to where we needed to be but the SERVICE was beyond compare. The staff was the nicest hotel staff we have seen in a long time. They were extremely accomodating and kind.

overall everything about this hotel was nice except there was really no hot water to take a shower.

My wife and I recently stayed for the night and loved this hotel. We're not ones who expect much in a room but this place had everything we needed and more. Very clean very nice very affordable. We'll definitely stay here again

Shuttle to UW in <10 mins. Wlaked from Medical center back to hotel in 20 mins. 5 min walk to Uiniversity Ave which is packed with cheap to modertely priced dining. Would reccomend to any visitor to UW.

We stayed for two nights at the University Inn in Seattle. This is a nice, clean, comfortable hotel with great service. It seems like there was always fresh coffee along with pineapple cupcakes in the evening. It is conveniently located close to the UW campus; there are a huge variety of restaurants within walking distance on The Ave. It's also a short […] drive (or shuttle ride) to the Seattle Center or downtown. very clean and convenient to University hospital and classrooms. Easy access to freeway and major streets. Large room and bath were modern and well appointed.

Our stay at the University Inn was very nice. The rooms were very clean and had about everything one could wish for....small refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, hair dryer....you name it. One night the street was a bit noisy with sirens, buses and delivery noise, but otherwise OK. We would stay there again on our next visit. Also, the free continental […] breakfast was great. Hot and cold ceral, yogurt, fruit, many kinds of rolls, coffe, tea and juice. The only thing we missed was toaster waffles. We would have liked a nearby restaurant that served dinner. We had a great stay here. The proximity to the University was great since we were in town for a college game. Free parking, and a great price were perfect. My only complaint was the pillows were terrible. Maybe we were unlucky but they didn't make it a great nice sleep.

The hotel was a bit dated, but not necessarily in a bad way. It had a certain retro charm to it, especielly in the looby. The room was a bit small as others have noted, but not overly so. The bathroom floor creaked when we walked on it as a floor might in an older home. The shower was roomy and the rest of the orom was comfortable. At first I was concerned […] about the amount of traffic noise from Roosevelt, but it wasn't a problem at night or in the early morning. The staff was friendly and the continental breakfast was fairly basic. The one nice surprise was the pineapple cupcakes every night from 3 - 7. The location on Roosevelt was a little tricky depending on where you need to go. Since it is one way, getting back up to the U-District can be a pain, especially in heavy traffic. To get to I-5, cut across Roosevelt to 42nd then turn right on 7th and take it up to 45th. Thankfully it’s easy enough to get *to* the hotel from anywhere in the U-District or I-5, though it’s easy to miss the entrance to the parking area. Definitely check out the breakfast at the Portage Bay Cafe (right next door) while staying here. We had a pleasant stay and would stay here again. 더 보기

Spent 4 nights here. Very comfortable and clean. Convenient for parents of UW students moving into apartments or dorms in the area. Breakfast buffet was decent and healthy. Parking lot filled up quickly and if I returned to the hotel late in the evening, I sometimes had to find street parking. That would be my only complaint. The Hotel University Inn is near the University of Washington, restaurants as well as bus routes. It is convinient for visitors ot the University.

Our stay at the University Inn lived up to the wonderful reviews on hotels.com. The staff was exceptional and the location was perfect for our purpose (UH vs. UW football game). However, the most surprising thing was that in this day of being nickel and dimed for every little thing, is that just about everything was complimentary. Continental breakfast, […] shuttle to downtown and other key locations, Keurig coffee w/ Tully's K-cups, self-service laundry, wireless Internet, bottled water, and even parking--all included in the room price! Unbelievable! Easy access to the I-5 and a short walk from Trader Joe's make this almost the perfect hotel. The only thing the room lacked was a mini-fridge, otherwise we had no complaints. I thought I was getting a very decent hotel for what I paid...however....the pool was tiny and hardly gets any sunshine...The room was very small and cramped. (I'm not sure if all the rooms are the same) It being a hot summer day/night during our stay, we used the air conditioner... but it didn't seem to regulate the temperature so we kept having to […] get up and turn it off and on...since we would freeze and then later get too hot. The furniture and bedding was definitely pleasing to the eye, but for a summer night, the comforter was way too warm...so needless to say we did not sleep well. The TV needs to be replaced because the picture kept looking funny...(it wasn't the cable, definitely the tv). The breakfast was acceptable. I give the hotel some credit for trying to make updates...you can tell it is an old hotel that they tried to upgrade with paint and new furniture, but at least our room needs a new AC and a new tv. I do have to say that the location was perfect for our purposes...we were able to walk to all kinds of restaurants near UW campus. Overall, i was not satisfied with my stay. 더 보기

I like to stay here because the bus to the Unversity of Washington Medical Center or Harborview picks up right across the street. Parking is free at the hotel. They have a good variety of breakfast foods and quiet rooms off the street. The staff are friendly and helpful. Stayed here the day before the Seattle to Portland bike ride - chaos! But the staff at the University Inn handled it quite well. Welcome cupcakes, Keurig in the room, eco friendly water bottles, and quirky artwork made for a nice stay. The fact that they started breakfast earlier than scheduled for all the riders was a nice plus. Downside was definitely […] the bedding - loud sheets, beds that are too soft or too hard. Was also disappointed by the lack of assistance from the front desk when we ran into a parking problem...but other nearby hotels were more than willing to help us, so I guess I'll be staying there instead next time! 더 보기

We were in town for Seattle Rock n Roll race and this was a last minute purchase that I do not regret. The room was great and the beds were really comfortable. Parking was not a problem. The surrounding area provided easy access to UW and I-5. The breakfast buffet which was included in rate was a great selection with make-your-own waffles, fruit, cereal, […] coffee, etc. I would definitely stay here again. 더 보기

Nice hotel in a great location and the complimentary breakfasts were great too!

We stayed at this Hotel because our daughter had appointments at Seattle Children's Hospital. It was a very short driving distance to the Hospital and the clinic was across the street. We found the room clean and roomy. The staff was friendly and helpful. The bathroom was on the small size but that did not seem to be a problem for us. We really enjoyed the hotel. It was convienent to UWA. The room was comfortable and clean. The staff was great, both with questions about the area when I called and with arrangements during our stay.

I have stayed at University Inn on Roosevelt Way in Seattle a number of times and always been more than pleased. Very clean and well maintained, free breakfast is perfectly adequate, free parking. Three of my co-workers and I shared a room at the University Inn and were pleasantly surprised. The room was plenty big for all of us (we had to share beds, but were already agreeable to this), the room had two vanities, one inside and one outside the toilet/shower room, and the hotel offered a complimentary breakfast!
