Everyone couldn't have been nicer and it was a great Easter experience.

The Mansion service is impeccable... From the moment you arrive with 2-3 people helping you with your car to the moment you walk up to the front desk and they call you by name. This was a very nice hotel to stay in and the rooms were very spacious. However, the only issue we had was that the DVR in the room did not work. We brought movies with us and the DVR would run the movie but pause for a full minute or two every 10-15 minutes which made it unwatchable. We gave up on the movies and went shopping somewhere instead. We […] didn't bother to complain so they might have resolved the issue but we didn't feel it was worth the hassle. 더 보기

Really good hotel.

I live in East Texas, and my husband and I go to Dallas several times a year for a relaxing weekend. We have stayed in many very nice hotels - The Adolfus, Crescent, Melrose, etc., and have always enjoyed those, but this was a trip celebrating our birthdays, so we decided to do 'something special', and stay at the Mansion. I have heard many good things […] about the Mansion in the past, but neither of us had never stayed there before this trip. I was very excited to arrive at the hotel; the check-in was very quick and smooth and the front desk was very nice; however, when we got to our room (2nd floor) we were immediately disappointed. The room reeked with a musty, mildew-y, water damage smell, and the room looked out-dated. It smelled like a very old house that had been empty and closed up for years. We turned on the a/c and opened the balcony doors in an attempt to air it out, but it was still horrible after 30 minutes. We called to front desk to notify them of this, and they were very nice, and moved us to a room on the 4th floor. This room had no smell. When I took a shower, I noticed that the faucet was pulled away from the wall about 1" - letting water run behind and down the wall. (no wonder the lower room was musty!) There were also black spots covering the tile in the bathroom. It looked odd to me, so I ran my finger down it to see what it was... MOLD! It was so disgusting! While we still had a nice weekend, I was completely disappointed with the Mansion! I would not stay there again, or recommend it to anyone. I expect much more from a hotel in its class, especially one of Rosewood's properties. I am confident that this would NEVER happen at it's sister property the Crescent, or at the Adolfus - both of which I love. I sure hope they make some changes to their cleaning schedule, and some much-needed updates to the rooms. This is unacceptable! 더 보기

Terrific experience! The rooms are spacious with lot's of counter space in a luxurious bathrooms. Excellent staff who are dedicated to making a hotel stay perfect. It also helps that this hotel has a 5 star restaurant that will satisfy even the most discriminating of tastes!!!

Loved every minute including amazing restaurant with a fantastic wine menu and very accommodating staff. In another major city this hotel would be easily twice as expensive. Great deal

Using mansion in the name of a hotel is dangerous, unless the facility is equal to, or exceeds, the definition of mansion. In this case mansion is an appropriate description.

Would recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Dallas. Very old, classic hotel charm, but with very nice, modern conveniences. All the staff were very nice and pleasant. Very good stay.

We had an excellent experience at this hotel. All of the staff were very friendly. The valets were very quick with retrieving our car, and the bar / restaurant was terrific. The prices are normally out of our range, but were able to stay here due to the price break via hotels.com

We had a few issues at check in but they were immediatley handled in an expediate fashion with extreme courtesy and pleasantry. Excellent accomodations, great location, and excellent service.

Loved the hotel. Nice areas to walk to near by and good walking running path called Katy Trail. Need a car or a cab to get to museums or downtown. Restaurant was so, so. They have a small business center but unfortunately charge for internet in the room. Had a great dinner at Fearings Restaurant in the nearby Ritz!

Now we know the difference between a 5 star hotel and one with 4 stars: Service was just outstanding!

We booked and stayed at this hotel as part of our credited free stay in Dallas for our adoption. It was a good location, but the suite was very small and the extra service marginal. You have to valet park your car. Our parents stayed in a cheaper hotel just around the corner and practically had a condo. Their room had a kitchen, sitting area and LCD […] TV instead of a small 1980's TV like in our hotel. As you can imagine, we used their hotel as the meeting grounds. Was this a good hotel, it was okay, but not worth the asking price. Oh yeah, the bed was very good if you like sleeping on a firm, hard slab. 더 보기

We had a lovely stay at Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek and are anxious for our next visit. I happened to be on crutches during our stay, and the staff went above and beyond to assist me. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a tray of ice tea and a lemon tart. Breakfast on the patio was superb. The hotel and the grounds were beautiful and very nicely […] restored. We were sad to discover that our own bed was not as comfortable as the one at the mansion. Rosewood absolutely went the extra mile to ensure that we had a fantastic stay. 더 보기

The rooms are a little older, along with the pool, however the service was excellent!

The room decor is straight out of the 80's and in need of a modernization makeover. If you like old 27" TV's, and worn furniture makes you feel at home, then this is the place for you. The place is aging but still very nice!

The Mansion is a great hotel and the service is always top notch,. However,our recent stay was marred by a bad room. The temperature in Dallas was over 100 degrees We had room 119 on the first floor. The hallways were very warm and this room had only one air conditioning vent--over the bed facing the windows. The dressing area and bath were behind the […] bedroom just inside the door and had no air vents. Needless to say, the dressing areas and bath were hot as hell. After complaining, we were given a 24 inch box fan--cheap and ugly--but effective. This room also had not been updated in some time and the furniture was looking a litttle dowdy. We were quite surprised as this has always been a very elegant hotel with great location and service. We will have to think about whether we will stay here again. 더 보기

The hotel staff was perfect. The room was very nice. We did notice that some repairs were needed in our room. The shower caulking was really bad, and the baseboards had started being repaired but never finished. Overall the stay was great.
