훌륭한 고객 서비스, 아주 친절하고 정중한 직원들.

아이 2 명(4, 12살)을 데리고 여행 중이라 저희는 4개의 침대가 있는 객실이 필요했는데 쉽게 찾을 수 있는 건 아니랍니다. 저희 객실은 킹사이즈 침대가 2개 있었고 가방 등을 둘 수 있는 넉넉한 공간이 있었어요. 위치는 훌륭했어요. Rock의 중심지에 있었거든요. 또 같은 거리에 시장이 있고(주말에) 호텔 꼭대기에서 놀라운 전경이 보여요. Rock과 도시의 다른 곳도 탐험하기 편리해요. 직원들은 무척 친절하고 열려 있어요. 추천합니다.

약간 오래된 호텔, 친절한 프런트. 하지만 저희 투숙은 화재경보기가 11:00pm에 저희가 곤히 잠들어 있을 때 울리는 바람에 손해 봤어요. 컴퓨터로 작동되는 음성이 나와 경보기가 작동되었다고 하며 대피할 준비를 하라고 해요. 그리고는 즉시 대피하라고 합니다. 객실이 대피되는지 활인하는 직원이 한 명도 없었어요. 그렇다고 소방대원들이 도착해서 모든 게 괜찮다고 확인 될 때까지도 객실로 돌아가도 된다고 안심시켜주는 것도 없었어요. 잠옷을 입고 거리에 맨발로 서 있는 건 기분 좋지 않습니다! 이 시간동안 프런트 책상 뒤에 접수처 직원들이 일하고 있었어요. 누군가 나와서 저희에게 이야기를 해준다면 좋았을 거예요! 사과도 없었어요! […]  더 보기

we would have stayed an extra night but because of the air conditioner was so cold it wouldn't sit on the temperature that i would set it to .

Loved the hotel. You can't beat a view of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Sydney Opera House from the rooftop pool. Staff were friendly and very helpful throughout the entire hotel. Would definitely stay there again.

Most importantly, this hotel met the American standard of ammenities and cleanliness, which is very difficult to find outside of the USA. It has an amazing location about 3 blocks from the Circular Quay railway station---a very easy walk with baggage on wheels ($20 or so for a train ticket from the airport vs abou $65 via taxi). You definitely pay for […] the location, but honestly its very worth it, as my wife and I did not pay for a taxi once in six days and were able to walk all over the downtown area. The hotel is literally 1 block from the cruise terminal. The rooftop pool has a fantastic vista of the city and, though small, is very enjoyable. The only issue we had was that the room was rather small, but since it was clean and fairly modern, we didn't care much. Breakfast is outrageously priced for continental fare, and even worse for eggs and sausage -- highly recommended that you walk up and down George St and find a cafe for half the price (watch out, many places have different prices for take away and dine in.) We booked this hotel because we got a good deal through hotels.com rather than any other reason, we could have our 2 children in our room which saved us money too. We soon realised that the best things about this hotel are the location and the view from the rooftop pool/spa area. It's right on George Street in The Rocks, it is close to Circular Quay […] and we walked just about everywhere. The views of Circular Quay, the Opera House, Harbour Bridge and Sydney City are spectacular from the rooftop pool area. The pool and spa are older style, but our children loved using both and the roof is open until 11pm, so great for getting photos. It's a shame the sauna was closed though. The rooms aren't huge, we had 2 double beds but didn't feel cramped, we really didn't spend much time in the room as we were either out or on the roof by the pool. The beds were comfortable and we all got a good nights sleep. The hotel is heritage listed so it is not new and could do with a bit of a renovation. However, it was very clean, and the reception staff were excellent, welcoming and very helpful. There's lots of restaurants, cafes, pizza places, bars & pubs nearby and a market on the weekend. I liked that the windows could be opened and we didn't need to use the aircon, even though it was January. Our friends had one of the few rooms with a small balcony too. You also get to see the fantastic cruise ships that dock across the road, and we met a few very interesting overseas tourists who were staying at the hotel prior to joining a cruise. I would have liked a microwave and toaster in the room, other Holiday Inn hotels we've stayed in have them but this only has a small fridge. We only had the buffet breakfast on one day as it has more food than we like to eat in the morning (a piece of toast is enough for us). The reception staff also did the online checked-in for our flight's home and printed the boarding passes (thank you). 더 보기

What a find! Well appointed hotel - friendly, responsive staff and in such a great location. I chose it for its proximity to the overseas terminal because we were arriving via a cruise - but I would stay here again because it's in the heart of the Rocks which is such a fascinating area - and an easy walk to Circular Quay, the Opera House, ferries, trains […] and buses, and downtown Sydney. I'll book here next visit, but if you're wanting somewhere to stay before or after your cruise - this is perfect. 더 보기

Overall Holiday Inn On the Rocks was good for a weekend at the Rocks. Even though the room was not of 4.5 star quality as advertised, the proximity of the hotel is great and service good. Parking was very reasonable for 2.5 days stay. Close to everything. Buffet breakfast is outstanding.

The staff are very helpful, the view from the roof is stunning, the convenience of the location was an absolute pleasure and overall we had a really great stay. There was some street noise at night, but not too much. Would definitely stay there again.

We could not fault this hotel with its most outstanding location - 2 minutes from the harbor bridge and 1 minute from circular keys/opera house. Best breakfast and highly recommend you prepay and enjoy - you wont be disappointed

The Holiday Inn in Sydney's Rocks is good 3 to 3.5 star value for money, ideally located only minutes from the Bridge, Circular Quay, the Opera House, the Domaine, Darling Harbour and the CBD. Service was not as sharp as you might expect in a hotel of this rating but it was satisfactory and overall a good stay can be assured.

Great location, just an OK hotel. The view from the rooftop pool is fantastic, but not a lot of people used it as far as I could see and it was pretty small. The hotel is so close to everything and withing a short walking distance of the Harbour Bridge and the Opera House. The hotel serves its purpose if you just need a room in a great location. […] Our room was very basic, and just the same as any other holiday inn I've stayed in. WiFi was not free at the hotel, but this seemed to be the norm in Australia as a whole. Stayed for 2 nights at this lovely hotel. Never had issues regarding transport since the train station is about 5 mins walk. When we found out that there would be roadworks on Sunday and trains weren't available we opted for the ferry ride and to our amazement was more satisfied than the trains! Expensive train ride from the domestic airport to Circular […] quay at $15 per person. Would recommend taking a taxi if there's 4 of you. It would be around $30++. Pancakes on the rocks is near this hotel but we weren't satisfied with their service it must be that time of night. We climbed the bridge and the office is 10 mins away so that was convenient! The markets on the weekend served as a treat for us as it was right at our doorstep and the steamed corn was fantastic for breakfast :) Overall amazing stay, very helpful staff! Picture on web sight very misleading; service very poor and very little works in the room including the key cards. Very embarrassed; nice location but Sebel is the place to stay and in same area.

The room didn't smell clean, it smelt of mildew. Toilet was not functional, it kept blocking. Service however was excellent but condition of hotel was old, needs refurbishment, very overpriced. Location is great, hotel is a little long in the tooth, updating of bathroom would be desirable. Rate was good. Glad I chose this hotel rather than a couple smaller ones down the street since the noise from the bar in those hotels must have been very distracting to those who were staying there.

It's a shocking experience at Holiday Inn Old Sydney. Apart from the location everything else was below par. The bathroom had a leak, and it was as if someone was constantly taking a shower.. We had to move to another room, which had smaller unclean bathroom.. the service was poor, you have to ask for every single thing.. and we didn't even realize […] until the very last night that we were supposed to get some complementary stuff (eg. biscuits etc ) I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone. 더 보기

Great location,, average hotel, and be sure you flick the switch (un labeled but apparently near the bed) otherwise the AC doesn't work.... We learned that the hard way. Breakfast too expensive, but otherwise all good.

All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful,especially the girls at reception. We were offered an upgrade to harbour views and it was certainly worth taking. Would recommend The Holiday Inn to anyone.We will certainly come back Thanks

I think most hotels disrespect women and put them in the worst rooms. This one was no exception. I was too tired to change rooms. Had view of famous Sydney bridge (which I recommend climbing despite $200 price tag). But, view was really funny - through buildings with no harbor visable at all. Also, next to laundry room and down odd hallway. Whatever. […] We were traveling for three weeks and this was the last room. Great location, views fantastic from rooftop pool and room if you pay extra. Excellent breakfast, staff polite and friendly. All in all great stay in the Rocks area.

We had been to Sydney before, and knew where we wanted to locate. Couldn't have been a better location and when we walked into our room at night-there was the Sydney Opera House. Definitely would recommend.

Our choice couldn't have been better. Proximity to the Harbour and surrounds and a stone's throw from our favourite restaurant. Our room had a teeny view of the Harbour but we weren't in it much anyway. The view from the roof is spectacular and the area could possibly be enhanced by a little cocktail bar with - maybe - tapas? We were impressed by breakfast, […] which in most places has developed a 'sameness'. The inclusion of an egg station and rhe courteousness of the staff gave a feeling of being "special". The standard of the food was very good. A lovely start to the day! Our only criticism during our stay was a very noisy air conditioner in our room which we reported and I 'm sure it has been rectified by now. We'd stay there again! 더 보기

Our family of four stayed for two nighst at Holiday Inn Old Sydney the Rocks. We had a family room, excellent beds, pillows and duvets, great view of the city. At first we thought breakfast was a little expensive (not included in our booking), but after realizing the kids had it for free, it was a perfest start of the day. The best part is the rooftop […] pool, where you have the Opera house on one side, and Sydney Harbour Bridge on the other. Amazing. We enjoyed our short stay at this hotel. It was in a fantastic location and close to Circular Quay and all the happenings around the harbour. The hotel was in easy walking distance to many first class restaurants as well as smaller cafes etc. All the history of The Rocks was right at our door step. The hotel was quiet, clean and our stay was hassle […] free. There was also a roof top pool area that had the most spectacular view of Sydney harbour and also out in all other directions. The Old Holiday Inn on the Rocks is a fabulous hotel. The staff were always willing to help and the location was perfect. Our room was comfortable and clean and had a great view.

This hotel is in a great location - not only for the historic Rocks area of Sydney, but it is also close to Circular Quay for trains, busses and ferries. The roof top pool/spa offers great views too. The hotel was a pleasant surprise. Staff was friendly, rooms were clean. Location location location. The Rocks Market is right out the door, the Sydney harbour was in full view from our room (we were on the 4th floor of the 8 floors). It was a little chilly so we didn't get to use the lovely little pool on the rooftop but what a view! Plus a real laundry […] center (although only open 9am to 8pm). The neighborhood is charming. A servicable hotel in a fantastic location, a stone's throw from amazing views across the harbour. Unfortunately the premium charged for this location cannot be justified given the basic nature of the hotel services. It was clean with comfortable beds and decent bathroom. However the fact that once the main lights were switched off, all power was cut, […] meaning phones, laptops etc could not recharge overnight was a major concern and would count it out for business travel. No room service, an electronic key that needed to be reset 3 times during a two night stay and a charge of over $25/day for internet mean that I will not be staying again. Particularly given that for the rate we were charged the Four Seasons would have been cheaper and far superior, and only added 5 mins to the walk to see the views! 더 보기

The hotel was fine--nothing exceptional and it seemed a bit dated and in need of a "freshening up" remodel. Overall it is a satisfactory hotel and in a great location to explore much of the nicer parts of Sydney.

The hotel is right in the center of the Rocks area of Sydney - two blocks from the Circular Quay. We found the room very comfortable but in need of some updating - the tub was small and we constantly clashed with the shower curtain. The grouting in the tile was showing mildew - but not so much as to make it repulsive - just annoying. Upon our arrival […] by taxi there was no bellman to assist us with our luggage as the hotel, apparently laid off the crew. We were pointed to where the luggage trolleys were stored. Rooms 429 through 432 are within a meter of the guest laundry. The pool is on the 8th floor accessible only by a walk up two short sets of stairs. There is no bar service available at the pool. The rooftop view is to-die for as the Harbour Bridge and the Opera House are right there. Would recommend this hotel for travelers on holiday, not in the right location for business travelers. 더 보기
