Aside from the hotel changing the requested accommodations our first night the stay was nice. Hotels.com interceded and we were in our requested room the second night of our stay. Hotel staff was not very helpful in giving directions to the hotel, we drove around for at least an hour trying to find the location, the address on web site was slightly […] incorrect by one dash (-) between the numbers so GPS didn't help much. Note there is no actual restaurant on the premises, there is a small snack shop with sandwiches, deserts and salads. Overall it was a nice stay; hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. I was very disappointed the minute I walked in the elevator and hallway; they were uncomfortably warm. A name like Hyatt, I expected it to be more comfortable. The AC in the room was noisy all night. The bathroom was the worst I have ever been in a hotel. It was claustrophobic; the door opens to the bathroom barely missing the toilet and the tub was […] totally a nightmare. I thought my feet were going to go through the bottom of the tub. I couldn't get out of there fast enough. The people whom we travelled with said the same thing of their room down the hall. They had it worse. They had a room right next to the elevators. Needless to say they heard the elevators going up and down all night long. 더 보기

Great Customer Service - Every employee was kind and willing to go out of thier way to make sure we were comfortable. Breaksfast was busy and they kept up on everythign including opening another room for more tables.

The room was clean and the service was good and very pleasant, just don't get a room in front of the elevator because you will hear everybody's loud conversations.

Nothing below level very good if not exceptional! Excellent staff, excellent restaurant, excellent location. Parking too was easy despite the logistic obstacles as they take care of it. Strongly recommended. Money for value at best.f

Real Classes & Coffee cups Speakman shower heads all above 3* category HUGE Flat screen TV was over the top but couldn't face the desk. Other wise all solid 3 star caliber. Good value for price paid.

Great stay at this hotel! Staff was friendly, and welcoming. The room was clean, and spacious. The layout of the room was perfect, leaving you a space to lounge, and a comfortable bed to sleep in. Suite style rooms at a reasonable price. Will definitely stay again!

This hotel was very convenient to a convention I was attending the weekend of Mar 24-25, 2012. I would definitely book rooms, with this hotel again.

Nice clean and modern everything. The guy at the front desk was nice and helpful and the room was huge and nice and clean and an excellent experience. Breakfast was good and Starbucks coffee .....worth the few extra dollars compared to surrounding hotels.

More than I hoped for. Not vacationing, not a vacation spot' but needed to stay in Fair Lawn overnight for a wake and funeral. Hotel was clean, staff was courteous, it was near all the places we needed to go. More than satisfied with this hotel.

I love to stay at a Hyatt Place whenever I can and this location did not disappoint. Was there for business, but had the kids with me as well and they loved the room and the pool. Would stay here again.

The beds at this place are simply amazing, I've never slept as good as I did at this place!!

We had a pleasant stay at Hotel Hyatt Place, Paramus. Kids enjoyed it. Although the breakfast was included in the package, the breakfast could have been little better.

Spacious and newer hotel. Nice layout! Good price! Breakfast included. Highly recommend it.

Got two double rooms for a large group of 12 of us, it was very convienient waking up to a nice breakfast.

Hotel is located on route 4 and it is best to set the GPS that way as opposed to street number which was not accepted at least not by my device. Plenty of parking, clean, easy check in, nice breakfast included. Big indoor pool. Plenty of near by shopping.

The hotel is very clean and updated, but if you're going to stay here, please request a room facing away from the highway. The tractor trailers started racing by around 4am and we were unable to sleep after that (our room was facing the highway). The hotel should invest in sound proof windows.

This location is very convenient to one of my companies offices. It is a very nice, new hotel and I have been impressed with the staff. Rooms here are a good value and the amenities are very nice. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The location is convenient as well. I will definitely stay here again.

My stay started by being told that the 2 rooms I paid for did not exist - I ordered 2 queen rooms adjoining. I was told by the out of town manager that the hotel doesn't have queen rooms. I asked for adjoining and was told I didn't use the right 'verbage' when making my reservation and that it was Hotels.com's error. What I wanted was two rooms next […] to each other with a connecting door. I was told that was just a "preference" and not a "guarentee". The clerk stated there were no adjacent rooms (meaning connected). Then the manager said connecting rooms have to have one king - again contradicting his own claims. I could go on........blah blah - so remember the difference between 'adjacent' and 'connecting' when traveling Hyatt. 더 보기

Very nice hotel! Rooms were large, very comfortable and clean. Only complaints were that the room frig didnt work, the complimentary breakfast though good, ran short of coffee and things before closing down and the drinks from the bar were a bit watered down. Would recommend.

Although the hotel's address did not come up on my GPS, the hotel clerk was able to give great directions. The room was clean and very roomy. AND a continental breakfast was offered, giving us just enough time to grab a bite before heading out early the next morning. Great alternative to staying in the over-priced hotels in NYC. Upon arriving at the hotel , I was greeted by the manager ,That was somewhat preoccupied by her cell phone call and texts, to give proper greetings. After the nearly 15 minute wait ,I was served. The room I was given was totally filthy, the bathroom was never cleaned properly. There was pubic hairs all over the entire bathroom. The carpet was not vaccumed […] ,and had debris scattered all throughout the room. Disguted I went back to the desk and asked for another room. When we checked in on a saturday, i was impressed coz the hotel was clean and facilities are beyond what I expected. The huge flatscreen TV in the room and the availability of the plates, cutleries and glasses anytime of the day in their bar/breakfast area were really awesome. Free breakfast was good even if you have to order extra for hot menu. Swimming […] pool was also well maintained except for the shower by the pool that wasn't working. Staff are generally pleasant and kind. Our stay was nearly convenient. Everything would have been perfect except that my car got flooded! We were mainly there coz we have to evacuate. So, while we were checking in, I asked the receptionist if the place is by a nearby water and/or if they had any flooding before. But he denied it adding, it would be the last place to get flood. Only to find out the next day that my car was nearly drowning with flood. By lunch time all the guests were asked to evacuate (again for me and my family..) because apparently, the river behind the hotel, which was about 100 meters away overflowed. It wasn't so obvious the night we checked-in that there was water coz it was dark. But I didn't appreciate that the hotel staff didnt tell the truth about their proximity to the river. My car interior floor has not dried up yet and it's about a week now since then. Even then, I would still rate Hyatt place 4/5. 더 보기

not having driven around NJ much, this hotel is right off of Rte 4 and I mean "right off"... getting in and out of this hotel parking lot is hazardous. This is pretty much a self serve place. room was fine.

Hotel was very clean! I read a review about poor quality of complimentary breakfast they provided, but that is not true anymore - fruits, yogerts, muffins, bagels, toast bread, and coffee was available and fresh. yes, it was free breakfast. And there are two things... There was no garbage bag in the trash can. The location was not easy to find beacuse […] the map from the hotel.com was wrong. The room was clean but had a strong mold smell. Getting out of the parking lot onto the highway was very difficult because of the fast moving traffic and no area to pull out on. The rooms facing the highway were also very noisy from the traffic.

We were in town for a relative's funeral so it wasn't exactly a happy visit. But the hotel and room were very clean and comfortable which definitely made things a little easier. The breakfast was also very tasty. We would definitely stay there again.

The staff was excellent and helpful, but the food bar was out of all salads, all soups, and everything with chicken in it -- and had been for 24 hours. the location was easy to miss, and if you did, required an effort to return to it. For a Hyatt, it was only good, not up to usual great standards.

Room very clean, breakfast very nice and plentyful...The hotel is in an isolated place and without a hire car, one is obliged to take a cab which is expensive in itself...Will use it again if needed...

Rooms were clean and I got one of the rooms facing the wooded area in the back..which was awesome. nice and quiet. I stayed only one night, definitely a decent place to stay.

Overall the staff was very friendly, and the hotel was very clean. But there were two main issues with the hotel during our stay: the hotel was having problems with the card keys to guest rooms, and the locating the hotel on gps was almost a nightmare.

This is a very clan hotel. It was comfortable and quiet and they even serve a light breakfast. I always stay here when I am in town but I guess that is what made me too comfortable. We left our camera in the room on a shelf and when we returned the camera was gone. We should have asked for a security box but we were so comfortable here that we just […] let our guard down. So if you stay here please lock your items or take them with you. Other than that you should enjoy your stay. I am hoping the thief will turn in the SD card because we have pictures on their that are just heartbreaking to have taken from us. 더 보기

This hotel was very nice and family friendly. The only problem was the hotel entrance was difficult to find without passing and could be difficult to access in high traffic.

It was a one night stay but it was very clean and very comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. I would just say if you like quiet then ask for a room in the back because our room faced the front of the hotel and we heard the traffic driving by.

Room was spacious and well appointed. Beds were extremely comfortable. Free continental breakfast kept well stocked. Employees very friendly. Could hear road noise from highway in front of hotel but it wasn't loud enough to be an issue. I sound insulation in the room was not great at all... I could hear pipes knocking, people talking, and water running pretty loudly.

We enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt Place. It was clean, close to the shopping areas and had convenient parking. Our room was modern and very comfortable.

This is the second time I've stayed at a Hyatt Place hotel and this one was just as good as the first! I love the space in the room; it was perfect to lounge, complete work and relax. The location is a little annoying but I think it has more to do with how the roads in NJ were planned over the fault of the hotel. Loved it and would absolutely stay there […] again! 더 보기

Nice place to stay, made use of the pool, a litle cold in there but otherwise, clean room, clean lobby. the continental breakfast is kinda lame, frozen bagels, two cereals.
