이 호텔의 최대 장점은 뉴올리언스 프렌치쿼터의 핵심인 Bourbon st.에서 아주 가깝다는 점입니다. 버번 스트릿의 각 종 볼거리를 즐기다가 바로 호텔로 들어갈 수 있습니다. 단점은 호텔이 전반적으로 오래되어, 퀘퀘한 냄새가 난다는 점입니다. 처음에는 불쾌했지만 익숙해지니 괜찮았습니다. 그래도 꽤 잘 관리된 호텔이고, 가격대비 머물만한 곳이라고 생각됩니다. This hotel is located just next to Bourbon St. which is the main street of French Quarter, New Orleans. So it is very convininet to go back after enjoying exciting night life on Bourbon St. However, this hotel seems quiet old, so you will smell some unpleasant odors from the carpet and the room. But still I think this hotel gives value for the price, since you don't want to pay double for staying at the hotel a bit more fancier.

비행기 시간이 아침 6시라서 전날 여기에 묵었는데, 전반적으로 가격대비 괜찮았습니다. 24시간 무료 공항셔틀은 프런트에 요청하면 바로 이용할 수 있게 되어서 새벽 4시라는 시간에 나오면서도 전혀 불편 없이 이용할 수 있었습니다. 단점이라면 건물 내부에서 방으로 들어가는 것이 아니라 바깥 복도에서 바로 접근하는 방식이라 소음이 좀 크고 안전에 대해 약간 불안감이 있을 수 있으며 식당이 따로 없고 옆에 붙어있는 Denny's에서 먹는다는 점이지만, 가격을 생각하면 방 크기도 상당히 크고 목욕용품이나 커피 등의 비품도 제대로 구비되어 있으며 무료 wifi가 제공되고 침대, 책상 등도 괜찮고 풀장에 헬스장(매우 작지만), 비즈니스 센터 등 모두 갖추고 있습니다. 공항 바로 앞이라 (걸어갈 수도 있는 거리!) 뉴올리언즈 시내 관광하기에는 불편하지만 비행기 일정상 공항 근처에서 묵기에는 추천할 만 합니다.

프렌치마켓과 미시시피강가를 가기에도 좋고, 큰길에 인접해 있어서 밤에 그다지 무섭지 않았어요. 작고 오래된 호텔이라 엘리베이터도 느리고, 복도도 좁았지만 무언가 오래된 특유의 정취와 낭만이 느껴져서 좋더군요. 마치 바람과 함께 사라지다가 떠오르는.....특히 방안에 수도시설이 있다는게 아주 맘에 들어요.

가격대비 시설 매우 우수(방에서 무선인터넷 무료 사용, 다리미, 개인금고, 커피 무료 제공 등). 아침 식사는 조금 기대이하이지만 나쁘지 않음 뉴올리언스 다운타운에 가려면 택시타고 20분 이내이지만, 택시비 많이 나옴. 대중교통은 201번 버스타고 Airline Dr에서 E2 공항버스를 갈아타면 택시비의 10분의 1이하로 줄어드나 시간은 최소 1시간 30분 이상 잡아야 함(버스 간격이 30분 정도이고 돌아오는 201버스는 저녁 7시 정도에 끊김).

총평 : 중급 호텔 치고는 꽤 괜찮은 곳이었습니다. *위치 뉴올리언스 시청, 도서관을 길 건너편에 두고 있으며, 인근 블럭에는 금융가가 인접해있음. (서울시청 앞 플라자 호텔 같은 위치) * 음식 아침식사가 뷔페(평범한 수준의 서양인 식단) 또는 선택메뉴로 제공, 점심, 저녁 식사는 9~19달러 사이에서 선택 가능.(TAX, tip, 음료 미포함 가격) 참고로 19달러 짜리 sirloin steak는 드시지 마시기를. 오래된 고기로 요리하는지 기분나쁜 피 맛이 느껴졌고, 집어던지고 싶을 정도로 맛 없었습니다. * 청결 객실 청결 상태는 good!!! 에어컨도 한기를 느낄 정도로 잘 나옴. 다만, 더운지방이라 그런지 객실이 다소 습하다는 점은 단점. * 주변지역 접근성 뉴올리언스를 대표하는 관광지역인 French Quarter 까지도 도보로 20분 이내에 갈 수 있음. Morial convention center까지는 걷기에 다소 부담스러운 거리. 도보 30~40분... 걷다가 더워서 죽을 뻔 했습니다(교통편 이용하세요). * 치안 치안 유지는 괜찮은 편이라 생각됩니다. 특히 French Quarter에는 두 블럭에 한 번 씩 경찰을 만날 수 있음. 불행하게도 일정 중인 2011년 5월 19일 자정 무렵, 멀지 않은 곳에서 총격전이 일어나 불안했습니다. 몇 발 발사가 아니라, 최소한 20여 발 이상을 주고 받는 수준의 총격전이었습니다. TV에도 "emergency alarm : bla bla~ 어디어디 street에는 가지 마라, 지금도 진행중이다" 이 총격전 경험 빼고는 만족할 만한 수준의 호텔이네요.

Very well located in New Orlenas for an overnight stay prior to boarding a cruise liner. Also handy to French Qtrs.

the room was very nice,but... the pool area was a lot to be desired. The pool deck wasnt clean, the pool had dead worms in it all week long never cleaned. "The Marriott in New Oreans is close to many sites."
Although this Marriott was very clean and modern, our room was situated right next to a very loud night club. We specifically chose this hotel because it was away from the French Quarter, but the noise level was still a little too much.

Only complaint I have is that there were not enough valets. It took FOREVER to get our car. I would stay again, though. Far enough from French Quarter craziness and several upscale restaurants are within walking distance. Try Luke!

Spent Mardi Gras in this hotel, it was a nice stay, the only problem is the distance from Bourbon street. Just be prepared to take a taxi. :)
Having onsite parking a plus. Close to French Quarter and alot less expensive than if we stayed in French Quarter. We were able to walk wherever we wanted to go or hop on the streetcar.

"great personel"
Impressed with the service. Staff was very helpful. Room was spotless everyday (3 night stay). A bit far from French quarter, about 20 min walk. Overall 4.5 out of 5.
"Early Mardi Gras Visit"
The hotel it self was amazing. Very nice. The only thing I could say is that the staff could have been a little bit more friendlier. Check in was a bit confusing we asked for the valet parking we didn't get the ticket we needed for it and had to come back wait thru the check in line to get our ticket and then get out car parked. Later we asked for a […] suggestion of a place to eat which was good. But the girl really didn't give us any selections just stood there and said I think this restaurant is good. We arrived the night before for our cruise the next day. We walked 1 block to the cruise terminal, as well walked a few blocks to the Riverwalk to the French Quarter Market. We also had no problem walking to Burbon St. and The Jackson Square area. Jackson Square area "lights up" on Sat. it seems.

"Avoid this hotel if you value sleep"
This hotel is situated next to a club that plays loud music every night including Sunday till all hours of the night. The hotel itself was nice but I will never consider staying there again.
the Courtyard by Marriott in which we stayed was very nice. the beds were super comfy, and the location was PERFECT! it's only a couple blocks away from the River Walk and the Convention Center. Bourbon st. and other attractions are also within walking distance. the only thing i wished i had been warned about was the price of parking. $28 per night […] and valet only. you don't have the option to park your own car :( i had only worked about $12 per night into the budget since that's the typical average rate for hotel parking in NO...just a heads up :) other than that, though, the hotel is great! 더 보기

We got a great price on hotels.com, the hotel staff was courteous and friendly, the room was well maintained, althought the sink area was very small, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The convenience of the location in the warehouse district made the stay even more enjoyable because we could walk to 4 star restaurants, bars, and cultural events.

"No soap??"
Only thing missing in our room soap. We were told by one of the housekeepers that we had to call down to the desk and request soap. We did and still did not get soap. Went down later and the person at the desk was very helpful and had no idea why we did not have soap in our room. Overall the staff was great and very helpful. The place was pretty nice for relatively cheap close to the french quarter. It's about 1 mile away from the heart of the French Quarter. It is not a safe walk if you are alone or just a couple at night time. There are a ton of shady people at night and it isn't really well lit for like a 1/2 mile towards the city. This hotel overall was nice. The lobby area is not warm and welcoming. It almost seems like it's in the midst of renovations. The rooms are attractive, clean and comfortable - especially the beds. Loved the pillows! The second day we were there they gave us bath towels that were still very damp from the laundry. We had to hang them up around the bath […] to dry. Did not eat in the "restaurant" but we were walking toward it one evening to see if we could get a soda and one of the staff told us in a loud rude tone that it was not open. She said it twice in the same tone which was not necessary. Very rude! The valet staff was exceptionally nice. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Overall it was nice, the people were great and helpful. My room was ok except that it smelled like old carpet and there were rust stains in the shower. Loved the bedding thou.

I knew legal check in was at 03:00pm. but Arrived with children at aNoon and went walking tourstie things..called several times to see if room was available. Not happening..Came back to Hotel at 2:30 but they made us wait until exactly 03:00pm to get a room I had tired children... I know what they did met all legal obligations.. But it was pure poor […] business.. I would like to know is it because we used Hotel.com for a cheaper rate.... The Julia Street location was ideal, the art galleries going toward St. Charles were top notch. The area was safe during the day and probably at night too, but we took a cab back. When we got to the hotel, we were not prepared to pay $28.00 for parking. When we got to our room, the door was open, there were no pillow cases on the pillows and the towel selection was not complete. Had to change rooms.

"Good location, great value"
This hotel had a good location. We walked to Cafe de Monde easily. The value was the best part. Warehouse District is off the beaten path, but close enough to everything, including the casino, the French Quarter and numerous great restaurants.

Wonderful experience from the valet parking, check-in and out. Employees were very helpful. Location was awesome for the attractions we were on town for. The food in the resturant was a little pricey but worth it.

"Quick Visit"
Went to New Orleans for one night, the hotel is going through rennovations. So, it was a pain. Parking is $28 per night. All in all, we would go back but I expected a little more.
1. The hotel is undergoing major renovation work , which we were not informed about. The pool was closed, and therw was a lot of noise. 2. The room was really nice - but house-keeping apparently 'forgot' to clean our room and replace towels, which we realized only when we returned back to our rooms hot, sticky and longing for a shower, at 10PM. 3. The […] breakfast was mediocre. 4. I requested my room bill the night before, as I was leaving at 6:00AM. Did not get it. When I called again, I was informed it would be slipped under my door early morning. It did not happen. So I had to physically go to the reception and obtain it!
