The hotel is nice but they have hidden fees including a $25 resort fee and $18 for self parking or $25 for valet. We were also interupted by a fire alarm in the middle of the night (twice) and the hotel did nothing for its customers for the inconvenience.

Very comfortable hotel with great service. Although it's not located in Vail Village or in Lionshead, having a chairlift right at the door makes a huge difference when it comes to convenience. The shuttle service also works, however hotel management should implement a better and clearer timetable, since the wait can be quite long sometimes.

We LOVED the service and felt they were very accommodating to all of our requests. The ski concierge and cascade lift was an awesome amenity during our stay. Would definitely recommend this hotel!

only negative is that they charge an extra daily resort fee and parking that should be included when the rates are already steep. otherwise excellent

I have to start off by saying I got my room on a half price promotion, but knowing what they regularly charge is what I'm basing my review on. For the price I paid I am relatively happy, but at full price there were a number of issues. The first night we stayed, we were kept up ALL night by an elevator directly across from our front door, it beeps EVERY […] time someone comes in or out of it. The ice machine also happened to be located within 10 feet of our door. We asked the front desk person to move us, and they happily did so at no extra cost. The second room we were placed in had mold on the bathroom ceiling, loose fixtures in the bathroom and a few stains on the floor. The service was top notch everywhere, but the facilities themselves needed some very basic maintenance...and at the prices they charge, this should be something that is fixed instantly. I would not visit this hotel again at a full rate, only if a similar promotion was around. 더 보기

Not a bad place - good location for ski lift and tickets. Elevators, lobby area are a little beat up. Didn't appreciate the amount of hair that was in the shower (walls, curtain). Ordered room service, it was good and prompt but was just plunked on the desk. We had 2 rooms, one for our kids who checked out later. They somehow didn't have a credit card […] number on file for them, and they refused to let them check out until they got hold of us and received credit card. I had a great time staying at the Vail Cascade Resort and Spa. I even got upgraded to a suit free of charge ! Although I had a great stay and found the accommodations fantastic, there were charges I had not anticipated on paying. There was a resort fee of $25 per person per day as well as a parking fee of $18 per day.

The ski in ski out feature is great. Parking is in a garage so you don't have to clean your car. Would recommend self parking as valet doesn't save you much of a walk. Love the ski chalet service, the staff come get your gear and they will heat dry your boots overnight. Very convenient feature! This resort is not in the village, so you have to shuttle everywhere. However, it is has its own lift, so what is there to complain about. It is a trek to get to the b ack bowls, the the price is far better than anything else around. The rooms are fine but always ask for an upgrade because the bigger ones are better: larger, better views, more recently […] updated. The bar area is divine &, as we stay a couple times a year, we spend much time here. The view is great, drinks strong, aps good, and fireplace warm. There are 2 hottubs, a pool, gift shop, and perfect little breakfast cafe to grab a bite before hitting the slopes. Enjoy the best mountain around. 더 보기

We stayed over the Christmas holiday and celebrated New Year's Eve at the hotel. Hotel is in a nice location with its own chair lift. Pool and hot tub were well kept, staff had smores and hot coco near the outdoor firepits, had to call on the house phone to get someone to take our drink orders. The spa is located on the other end of the property. There […] is an outdoor pool, basket ball court, etc.. Overall very nice setting, I was concerned that the staff that checked us in did not wear the same uniforms although the valets and housekeeping did. Here is the bad news, the walls in the room are paper thin. Unless you like listening to your neighbors argue or have sex, I suggest wearing ear plugs. If you are inclined to "get busy" make sure you crank up the TV or use one of the many pillows to mute the sound. 더 보기

This is my third time when I stayed at Vail Cascade. It is really a 5-star skiing resort hotel. The semi-private lift chair at the back of the hotel is one of the reasons I stayed here. Everything was excellent from the hot tub more than one place, heated swimming pool to world class gym. I will come back again.

Nice enough place. Wouldn't recommend to friends because of additional unneccessary charges like parking and resort fees. If you don't want to valet park then plan on walking at least a good 100 ft from parking garage to hotel entrance. Also the "incidentals" fee was ridiculous (3-figures) for a one night one person stay. A nice motel would have served […] me just as well. 더 보기

The extra fifteen dollars for a resort fee was a bit ridiculous, especially considering I was there less than 20 hours and only as a place to sleep. The wedding I attended occupied the rest of my trip. Maybe if the hot tub had been open at midnight, I could have used the "resort." Gladly paid the fee for valet service and used it. I enjoyed the hotel. It was clean, friendly, & nice. However I felt like there were parts of the hotel that were overpriced or not stated upfront which always is discouraging. I think that free parking for your guests would be nice to add. I know other hotels that have that in vail and I will probably stay there next time (based on a recommendation […] of a friend). I also think that the resort charge should be stated up front. I hate when hotels tack on additional expenses at the end. It seems as if this hotel was trying to nickel and dime their customers. We stayed in a deluxe room in mid-August and had a wonderful time at the hotel. The staff was extremely helpful - from the front desk staff to the bell man and cleaning crew! The room was spacious and the location was excellent. The hotel shuttle to Lions Head and Vail Village (just a few minutes away) was also a great perk!

Lovely visit, setting wonderful by Golden Creek. Staff great; most remembered our name each time we were seen. Food very good; really enjoyed breakfast buffet. Will recommend it to our friends and look forward to another visit.

I stayed here on a recent business trip and really enjoyed it. The property is clean and beautiful, and the room was lovely. All employees were very friendly and attentive. The only down was that my room service breakfast was not delivered because of a time oversight. They could have called to confirm the requested time rather than "waiting for me to […] call" because by then, I had to leave and had no time for breakfast. We came across this hotel by accident and have been pleased beyond measure with our stay. The hotel was beautiful, the staff was incredibly accommodating and the ambiance was charming. A complimentary shuttle to Vail Village and Lions Head made access to great restaurants and boutiques effortless and worthwhile. Only one drawback.... the valet parking […] fee is a $$$ so prepare yourself. On the other hand, the resort fee was less than comparable resorts I have stayed at so it appears all equals out in the end. All in All. Vail Cascade has gorgeous views, cozy library, lovely restaurant bar. The room was very comfortable, and staff very helpful. The shuttle was very reliable, and the spa was outstanding. The problem was, the hotel is showing its age and needs some cosmetic repair such as the exterior doors,and the carpets outside the elevator area.

Please your hotel needs these: 1. Air-condition for summer season 2. The check-out must be at least noon not 10:00 3. It needs indoor pool 4. Supply the room with shower head cover 5. The refrigerator has broken shelf 6. Room spaces are very small

The staff was extremely courteous and helpful. I was only there for a quick stay. There's a bike/walk trail that runs behind the hotel by the creek. Nice peaceful walk. The pool and hot tub area was wonderful! Shuttle service into town was easy and quick. Only thing I didn't like was parking was extra $18.00 a day for self park and the resort fee. Great place to stay when visiting Vail, CO.

ONCE WE GOT THE CONDO WE PAID FOR-- IT WAS FANTASTIC-- THE STAFF COULD NOT DO ENOUGH TO MAKE OUR STAY MORE ENJOYABLE AND WENT OUT OF THEIR WAY TO MAKE SURE WE HAD EVERYTHING WE NEEDED WHILE WE WERE THERE---THE HOUSE KEEPING IN THE MAIN MOTEL LOBBY AND SITTING ROOM COULD HAVE BEEN A LOT CLEANER---THINGS IN GENERAL WERE JUST NOT VERY CLEAN--STAFF (BRENT) […] WAS OUTSTANDING THANK YOU FOR FINDING US THE CORRECT CONDO ( 6-23-11 T0 6-26-11) 더 보기

We had a great stay. We loved the location and the luxurious creek-side pool. We slept like babies and enjoyed walking and jogging the Gore Creek Trail regularly to Vail Village. We thought this hotel provided great value.

Really nice location for a summer family trip. concierges were great about coming up for ideas (we were visiting nearby family but often had time to fill) and making suggestions for dinners etc. pool was great - beautiful and warm. a little on the small side, but we weren't swimming laps with two tykes in tow! hot tub is lovely and hot! waitstaff was […] very nice, made a big fuss of the kids and provided great service. shuttle came essentially on demand to take us to/from vail village. nice attitude from staff all around - and we have two little boys who are messy and rambunctious! fire pits at night are lovely and the scenery of the avon river was gorgeous. only downside was our interior view, but considering we got a bargain price and don't get to spend time gazing out the window with our two little boys, it was no big deal. Spa was nice - i got a manicure and they were very accomodating of a last minute request. (I'd been to the spa years ago and like it then, too.) This was our family's 3rd stay in 5 years. We visit Vail multiple times a year and we always enjoy our stay at Vila Cascade.

I have stayed at this hotel before and really enjoy the convenience and the amenities. I recently visited off season (summer) and my only complaint was that multiple staff complained of the "boredom" and how "slow it was" not exactly what you want to hear when you are enjoying your vacation. Other wise great hotel price and conveneince.

Even during the "Muddy Season" this was a great spot. Great rates, the gym/spa was amazing, and the staff was very helpful. I enjoyed all the Cascade had to offer for sure!

Only had one complaint - noisy - can hear everything in the hallway outside your room. So bring earplugs.

Easy access to Cascade lift with ski concierge service. Walls were very thin with noise heard through the doors all night, but was closing weekend at Vail (I imagine always crazy that weekend). Small hot tub for hotel guests, so there were lots of lousd, drinking people at hot tub. Very helpful staff, always eager to please. NIce aesthetics and room […] layouts. We had a memorable last weekend of the ski season in 2011. Some of the most accommodating guest services in Vail. Concierge was a big help for all that Vail could share. Highly recommend Vail Cascade. See you all soon!!!

We had a terrific experience and will be regulars here. Far nicer than any similarly priced accommodation in Lions Head or Vail. Staff is uniformly pleasant. And, the onsite rental, equipment storage, terrific food, bar etc. makes staying here a no brainer. Excellent, relatively reasonable (this is Vail!) wine list. Finally, if they invest some money […] in speeding up the chair lift (it is quite scenic!) and maintaining the speed (via clutch system) for end of the day downloading, I am certain increased occupancy will more than offset this investment. But, overall, I can't believe it too me so long to find this very nice Vail gem! 더 보기
