The new owners seemed very interested in making sure that everything was great. They still have a ways to go (the hot tub needs to be fixed), but I am sure that they will eventually get those things taken care of. If I needed to stay in that area, I would go there again.

Nice hotel. Beds comfortable, pool nice, nice breakfast. Would stay again.

The "Continental Breakfast" was literally make your own waffles, small blueberry muffins, kinda something appearing similar to a cinnamon roll.. no bueno.. the pool was nice however..

Great location, and everyone was very helpful and friendly. The coffee in the breakfast room was good, too!

Hotel staff should go back to school. They were not the least interested in their guests. The room was adequate but certainly not of any quality. We will never, again, use any EconoLODge based on this one experience.

1st - room key didn't work - had to move 2nd - no coffee maker in room - was told none were available - but the web site claims one in every room - had to ask for coffee to me be made in lobby 3rd - ac not cool and very noisy 4th - staff unhelpful, unfriendly 5th was not told of additional room charge till after hotel was booked

I called a week before arriving and asked if the hot tub worked and they said yes, but when I arrived it was ice cold. I asked when it would be heated and the girl at the front desk said that it had not worked for over 2 weeks. Yes, I was upset because that was one of the reasons for staying there. The neighborhood is "rough." When I made coffee, there […] was a filter in the holder and coffee stains in the pot.... housekeeping is not good........ we moved a dresser and there was dirt and food under it. We picked this motel because we wanted to be in walking distance olf The Old Town. We were somewhat hesitant because other reviews were not so positive.In fact the service was only slightly surpassed by the location - we were only two blocks from The Old Town which celebrated Founders' Day during our stay.

the stay was not as smooth as i had hoped. that evening i tried logging onto the internet and was unable due to low signal I did call the front desk and was told sometimes it works sometimes not. i had apparently the furthest room from the router there in the main lobby the following morning at check out i was told that person could have given me a […] cable to plug in for internet.. in addition to the failure to have internet i placed a wake up call for 530 am and never recieved a wake up call at all. unfortunately for me i was late to a meeting scheduled for 700 am when i did wake up on my own at 630 i called immediately to complain about the wake up call i was told by the same person who took the wake up call that "it must not have gone through" ...these are pretty standard requests and services provided at many hotel/motels and i was very disappointed that both of these simple things were completely blown.. 더 보기

Great location, about two blocks, well within walking distance from Old Town. Right on old Rt. 66 too. Hotel was as expected for the price.

near Old town

This was what I would expect from a weekly hotel rental. Carpet was filthy. Bedspreads ugly and dirty. Bathtub dirty. Toilet stopped up. Ice machine broken. Check-in was like a jail. If I hadn't already paid for this room, i would NOT have stayed. Awful.

I was put in a smoking room that stunk! I dont know if it my fault, the fault of Hotels.com. or the fault of the hotel. But it jaded my experience there. Except for the stench, the room was clean, staff friendly. Few amenities and the internet (free) was very spotty. Great location, 1 block from Old Town, near botanical gardens and zoo. Great value and friendly staff

This room is not going to be called the cleanest room in town any time soon. Proximity to Old Town is the only great thing about this place.

The woman was helpful with directions to Old Town when we checked in. However, no one was at the desk when we checked out. We never did see anyone at the desk when we ate breakfast. In the evening we left and upon our return there were several young men outside our door drink beer. We didn't think they were staying at the motel.
