Stopped as family of 3 (daughter 2 years old) over a Friday and Saturday night. Got a very good room rate, and was extremely impressed with the service. Holiday Inn musty be pushing families at weekends. Greeted by normal efficient reception plus a balloon for my daughter. Nothing was too much trouble, from getting a table early in the (already fully […] booked) restaurant, to getting a (free) glas of milk for her in the morning. Evening food deal was £12.50 for 2 courses with kids eating free (and bottle of wine for extra £9.95)...not exactly fine dining, but good enough. Excellent leaisure club, good rooms. Location very handy for M27, M271, M3 etc but dont expect to walk anywhere interesting! Only major downside was the cost of breakfast - £14 is way too much (especially when compared to the evening meal), obviously the family-friendly focus didnt stretch to breakfast at weekends. We went to the recently refurbished Premier Inn 400 yards down the road, and for £7.99 had an excellent full English breakfast, and our daughter ate free too). Overall I would recommend this hotel as a weekend stopover if visiting Marwell, Paultons, New Forest etc 더 보기

Booked an overnight stay due to bad weather and needing to be in portsmouth docks by 10am the next day. Ideally located at Jct 9 of the M3. Helpful staff, pleasant room. Paid less than half standard room rate, so very good value.

Stayed overnight for a 1 day cruise liner visit at Southampton Docks.This is a very conveniently located and reasonably priced hotel. Good facilities with free use of the swimming pool and sauna / steam room etc! Breakfast, however, is massively overpriced but I would still recommend this hotel as a very practical place to stay.

One of the best we have stayed in. Would recomend this Holiday Inn to everyone. The added Spa treatments are a bonus. Have booked again.

Stayed here for two nights recently. We had booked 2 rooms on 'Hotels.Com'. When we arrived to check in the receptionist seemed very confused about our booking. One of the rooms was not ready which was fair enough as we had arrived early and we did not expect it to be. It took ages for her to find the booking on the system and we had to hand over our […] passports for her to check the names. We were told that we had booked an accessible room as a second room which we had not. It clearly said on our booking form which we produced what the room configurations were. It wasn't exactly rocket science! We wanted to keep both rooms on the same floor if possible as one was for my elderly mother. We were told when we came back later on that that would be sorted for us. On our arrival back that night we went to get the second room only to get the same story that we had booked an accessible room! No, we said, we didn't! Turned out that this was the only room available and was on the ground floor while we were on the third. We mentioned that we were supposed to have rooms on the same floor and the receptionist was sorting this for us but our pleas fell on deaf ears! My mother ended up in a wheelchair room on the ground floor. The rooms were perfectly fine, good size with a nice flat screen tv. Very warm though and the window only opens a few inches. We didn't eat breakfast in the hotel but had some bar food in the evening which was good. My only gripe is that there is no wifi hotspot or free internet on the computer in the lobby. Also, to dial another room in the hotel you place a 5 in front of the room number (according to the hotel instructions which are on the tv) which is incorrect. I tried in vain to ring my mother to make sure she was settled for the night only for the phone to ring and ring. I ended up going to her room in a panic to see why she wasn't answering the phone only to find that it hadn't rung in her room at all? On contacting reception I was told that you dial 더 보기

If you are a smoker, stay at this Hotel they have Smoking Bedrooms!!! Fantastic, no guilt.

A very nice hotel conveniently located right off the major highway exit and only about 10 minutes from the cruise docks at Southampton. A great bargain for the price. Room was clean and comfortable and staff was very friendly. Good hotel. Convenient location right off the motorway and 10 minutes from the cruise terminal. Room was quiet and clean and service was fine. No problems recommending this hotel for an overnight or longer stay.

Service i resepsjon topp. Noen av servitørene kunne vært bedre. De glemte hva som var bestilt, måtte be om servering flere ganger før vi mottok den bestilte varen. Men oppholdet var generelt ganske tilfredstillende.

Die Nähe zu Winchester und der Kanalküste mit vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten wie Southampton, der Heimat der Queen - Schiffe, Portsmouth, Brighton,Salisbury oder den New Forrest Nationapark mit dem Motormuseum oder Beaulieu Abbey machen das Hotel zu einem glänzenden Ausgangspunkt.
