This is a fantastic location 30 minutes fron central Amsterdam, quite, clean with large rooms older hotel but very well maintained, it was nice to wake up each morning with birds chirping and wide open green spaces outside the window. Magnolia restaurant serves good quality food albeit a rather limited selection that said it was always well presented. […] The staff are friendly and always ready with a smile. I have no problems recommending this hotel as much for its wuite location and service it is not modern yet not old as stated above the rooms are large and hotel is well maintained, I ahd a great stay and will return, thank you Hampshire Golfhotel Waterland 더 보기

If you can bear the fact of staying 20 km away from amsterdam city centre, this hotel is a worth noting as it's very calm, quiet, in a small city and in the middle of golf greens.

This hotel is rated with 4 stars, but 3 stars worth at most. Bathroom is clean but technical 10.years behind.

we enjoy very much but there were to problems: 1. we got room no.152 and it was to far to go each time we entered the hotel. 2. it didn't included breakfast and the rate for breakfast was too high. the hotet was in a high level family Elazar

The location is outside Amsterdam but it's in very nice neighborhood with all the suburb beautiful farms in Holland. We could not ask more than that with a family with less than ten boys. The staff were very helpful and speak very well English as anyone in Holland. The only note is to recommend to the hotel management to replace the carpet as it is […] to old. I only stayed so far because everything was booked in Amsterdam itself and the hotel had good rates for the weekend. The rooms were HUGE, even for an American. This is however because it is quite far from the city. They tell you about 20-30 mins on the bus but it's really more like 45, plus a 10 min walk to the station. Bus 107 will take you directly […] in the Main Station right in the heart of AMS. While the bus runs pretty late (about 12:30-1am), it is quite expensive. A day pass (valid 00:00 to 23:59 of the same day) is 9 euro. This ticket is only valid on the Aviva lines, not the regular trams/trains/buses that are in AMS or ones that go to the airport. You can plan so that you buy a ticket on board the first night after midnight, take it out the following morning, then take the bus back before midnight the same day and you will get three trips out of the ticket, costing only 3 euro a ride - not too bad. A one-way ticket will cost you 6 euro though. It's actually more worthwhile than a hostel because it's a real hotel. I'd stay here again for sure if I couldn't find a place in town. 더 보기

Plus points: everything was fine, friendly staff, comfortable room with nice view. The food in restaurant was also great at acceptable price. Minus points: just a little bit far away from amsterdam downtown, about 20 min. by car. No free internet access point in room, only in the main hall. Surely recommendable!

For its price, the room and the surrounding make it seems like a fraud. If you are looking for a time to get away from the urban spotlights, this is exactly the place to go. It resides on the outskirts of AMS, yet the city can still be reached by the direct bus within 30 min. Etablissement très vaste et impersonnel mais chambres lumineuses, de grande taille et bien équipées. Calme assuré. Parfait pour découvrir Edam, Vollendam et autres villages typiques du nord d'Amsterdam. A éviter néanmoins si vous n'avez pas de voiture (ou de vélo) ou si c'est le centre d'Amsterdam qui vous intéresse car cet hotel est extrêmement isolé […] et transports en commun très fastidieux... 더 보기

O hotel é voltado para golfistas, isso é a primeira coisa que se deve saber. Mas ir de Amsterdã para o hotel não é difícil (pegar o ônibus 307 na Central Station). Os ônibus passam em horários programados de 20 em 20 minutos e a viagem leva mais ou menos uns 30 minutos. A vantagem de se ficar em Purmerend é conhecer um pouco do interior da Holanda. […] A cidade é bem diferente, cheia de canais, parques e fica a apenas 6 km de Volendam. Ottima scelta per chi vuole visitare l'Olanda ed ha a diposizione un'auto. Diversamente la struttura e "concentrata" sui campi da golf ed è situata alla periferia del paese, piuttosto scomoda per raggiungere la città (circa 20 km). La colazione dell'albergo è piuttosto cara ma in camera è disponibile (se manca potete richiederlo) il necessario per farsi […] te e caffe (solubile) in camera. Per chi vuole risparmiare e non ama la colazione internazionale ma si accontenta della tipica colazione italiana, ci si può organizzare con il supermercato e fare colazione in camera. Non abbiamo utilizzato il ristorante dell'albergo. Nelle vicinanze (Edam, Merken, etc) ci sono locali più economici (e con vista sul porto ...). 더 보기

eu enm fui ao hotel pois a passagem de ônibus para uma única ida lá, de amsterdam sai mais caro que apgar outro hotel mediano na cidade de Amsterdam. a informaçao que aparece no site é que fica a 1,8 km da estaçao central mas é de outra cidade e nao de Amsterdam. Por isto, optei em pagar outra hospedagem dentro da cidade.

un acceuil tres correct et un endroit paisible pour passer un bon moment l'ensemble de la prestation est correct en rapport qualité prix proche de la capitale idéal pour visiter les alentours

Fast connection to Schiphol airport by Rail Sprinter (30 min) then take the bus 118 (10 minutes) to a block away from the hotel entrance. Travelling in aesthetic Amsterdam does not take too much time, so staying here and playing golf are good ideas.

Nous y avons séjourné 2 nuits. L’hôtel est calme et situé près du terrain de golf. On pourrait reprocher la déco. pas très actuelle mais ce n'est qu’un détail, car la chambre est très spacieuse et propre. Nous n'avons pas pris les petits déj. car nous les trouvions un peu chers et avons préféré prendre un café à Vollendam ou Amsterdam. wat ik jammer vond was de drukte bij de balie door de golfwinkel. bij uitchecken had ik haast. bij het krijgen van de sleutel van de kamer wordt al gecheckt of er is betaald, waarom dan mensen weer laten wachten bij uitchecken of er wel betaald is. dit wachten duurde wel meer dan 10 minuten, niet fijn als je haast hebt. tevens werd ik niet vriendelijk […] geholpen, bij deze uitcheck. 더 보기

När det gäller miljö, är det bästa som jag kan rekommendera.. Waterland är jätte vackert område i- Nederländerna och den här hotellet ligger mitten av det- direkt vid golv bana.

Sehr ruhige Lage und trotzdem tolle Busverbindungen Richtung Amsterdam. Freundliche und sehr hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter. Geräumige, saubere und gemütliche Zimmer. Allgemein sehr weiter zu empfehlen !

Das Hotel liegt nördlich von Amsterdam in einer ruhigen Golfanlage. Es ist in die Jahre gekommen, aber noch immer ein schönes Hotel. Man bemüht sich, alles in einem gepflegten Zustand zu erhalten. Wir haben ein schönes 3-Bettzimmer gehabt, wirklich ausreichend groß für 3 Erwachsene mit Sitzplatz und Essplatz.. Insgesamt war fast alles sehr sauber. Wir […] hatten bei Bezug des Zimmers einen Kaugummi vor der Gardine im Teppichboden klebend vorgefunden. Der war auch 2 Tage später bei Abreise noch vorhanden. Auf dem Kleiderschrank im Vorflur war eine dicke Staubschicht, die wir nicht entdeckt hätten, wenn der Safe funftionstüchtig gewesen wäre. Er wurde während unseres Aufenthaltes trotz unserer Bitten nicht zum Funktionieren gebracht. So sucht man nach Plätzen, wo man sein Notebook nicht gleich auf dem Tablett anbietet. In Anbetracht des nicht nutzbaren Safes fanden wir es auch bedenklich, dass das Zimmermädchen das große Schiebefenster ein Stück zur Belüftung offenstehen ließ. Einen Wasserkocher mussten wir erbitten, er stand im Zimmer nicht zur Verfügung. Beim Weggang aus dem Hotel am ersten Abend erbaten wir ihn, bei Rückkehr hieß es er sei zum Zimmer gebracht worden. Leider war er nicht da, und so mussten wir ihn von der Rezeption holen. Das wäre an sich nicht schlimm, aber unser Zimmer lag mindestens 250 m von dort entfernt, und so läuft man mal eben einen halben Kilometer vom Zimmer zur Lobby und zurück. Wenn es reicht. Das Personal war nett und bemüht, nur die Ergebnisse blieben leider öfter aus. Das kostenlose W-Lan in der Lobby funktionierte auch bei uns nicht, aber man konnte mit Glück mal den PC für die Gäste benutzen. 4 Sterne würde ich dem Hotel heute auch nicht mehr geben, aber vor Jahren war es sicher mal gerechtfertigt. Wir haben recht günstig dort gewohnt, wahrscheinlich haben wir auch deshalb weit laufen müssen. Wer näher an der Lobby wohnt, zahlt vermutlich mehr. Deshalb kann ich von einem sehr, sehr guten Preis-Leistungsverhältnis sprechen. Wir würden d 더 보기

Beautiful hotel. Large rooms and very comfortably. Paradisiacal surroundings. Far from downtown, but with easy transport. Good breakfast but very expensive: 14 EUR per person.
