그랜드 호텔 발리오니 (Grand Hotel Baglioni) - 플로렌스

위치, 전망, 서비스, 청결은 모두 만족스러웠습니다. 그런데 첫날 케리어때문에 문 여는것을 힘들어 하니까 지나가던 청소하는 직원이 문 여는것울 도와주고 짐을 방안으로 옮길수 있도록 문을 잡아주었습니다. 그런데 이 직원이 방 키를 훔쳐갔습니다. 단순히 실수였는지 의도적으로 가져간건지 알수 없었지만 상식적으로 납득되지 않는 일이죠... 우린 짐만 놓고 바로 시내관광을 할 예정이었거든요... 다행히 빨리 발견을 했고 직원의 리셉션 도움으로 새로운 키를 받았지만 굉장히 불쾌한 경험이었습니다.

Florence is a great old city, which also makes it difficult to find a nice hotel with modern amenities. We lucked out with this one. The rooms are older but clean...reminds me of how Italian relatives would equip a room in their old home...minimalist but sufficient. The free wifi was excellent and the breakfast buffet was very good with amazing views […] of the city. Location was just a block from the train station, a priority for us. The 'marital bed' was large enough for me, my wife and 4yo daughter. Each floor is expansive...and we were unfortunately as far from the elevator as could be...maybe because they thought my daughter would make noise...or they were otherwise full. 더 보기

Very convenient and once you walked out from SMN station of Milan, you will find the hotel. Service is warm and even bellboy can speak English. However, very noisy at night as I don't know why there were so many ambulances passing by with high tone ringing until very late at night during my stay. Breakfast is ok but no surprise. This hotel , unlike many others I stayed at on this trip, certainly catered to an American clientelle. Take that as you wish. What it meant to me is all of the staff was very friendly and helpful. I upgraded to a mini suite type room for an extra amount of euros a night. The room was very large and grand and the bathroom was delightful with a beautiful […] spa-like oval tub. The breakfast was a full, hot american breakfast. The italians tend to like their rooms quite warm. The only drawback we experienced was that the weather was unusually warm, thus the room was too hot and we had to open the windows which made the room very loud! I would ask for a room not on the main street, as the noise and foot traffic does not stop until around 4:30 am. Overall, a truly wonderful, full-service hotel that is a quick walk to the train station, which is a huge plus. 더 보기

EXCELENT BREAKFAST

LOCATION: FANTASTIC, NEAR TO RAILWAY STATION WHICH MEANS, NO NEED TO TAKE THE TAXI FROM RAILWAY STATION. MORNING BUFFET: NOT SO IMPRESSIVE, NEED TO BE IMPROVED. VERY KIND IN HOTEL PEOPLES.

THe hotel is in a great location but overpriced. GO around the corner to Boscolo Astoria. Better value and better service

Stayed for a couple of days was very nice they gave us a very nice room. Bathroom very big for a European bathroom. Staff extremely courteous and helpful. Close to all would definitely go back

Tho at first I hesitated about being too close to the train station, it turned into a huge plus, The right balance of elegance and comfort, the best roof deck in the city, especially for breakfast, and a surprising amount of light since it is on the open plaza. While the Hotel did have a convenient location directly across from the Train Station the consistency of friendly service was an issue.. The concierge staff was not particularly fluent in english and on some occasions were surley in their attitude, making it uncomfortable to ask questions. Air conditioning was very inconsistent and the electricity powered […] off when you left the room making it impossible to charge computers or mobile telephones. After checking-out early in the morning with the apparent night manager (it was still dark out), we requested a taxi to the airport. Lucky for us, there was a taxi sitting right outside the window with its engine running. However, as soon as we requested it, the night manager went to the window, opened it, and yelled at the taxi driver to leave. He […] then told us to go sit down, without any explanation. So my girlfriend and I sat and waited patiently in the waiting area for approximately 10 minutes, wondering why we were still waiting, when other taxi's could be seen driving by the hotel. Finally I walked back to the counter and asked the night manager, nicely, if a car was coming and why he had ushered away the taxi that had been sitting outside. He told me one was coming and to just sit down. It seemed obvious at that point that he had called an associate to come pick us up, rather than give the fare to an anonymous driver. That wasn’t a big deal, but having my girlfriend with me, and being ever wary of security issues, I can't say the concern didn't cross my mind of a set-up. Nonetheless, I went and sat back down, and that is when the night manager walked over to us and asked, very abruptly, when our flight was scheduled to depart. I responded, very nicely, “if a taxi arrives soon we will have plenty of time to catch our flight, but thank-you”. He stared at me for a second, and then repeated his question, even more abruptly, “what time is your flight leaving”? Not trusting him any longer, I responded politely, but seriously, “thank-you, we will have enough time”. He started walking away a few steps, but then turned around, walked back to us, and standing over us, said loudly “Perhaps you did not understand my question. I asked you what time your flight leaves”. Because my girlfriend was with me, I told him our flight time. He replied that we did not need to leave yet, and stomped away. this hotel is really in an old building, rooms weren't clean, we found ants in our room in the last day, we had to complain for the dirty towels we have got instead of the clean ones, break fast was cheep quality and poor in collection, 4 kind of bread and croissant, tea, coffee, and some serials with fruits, for the value its not fair, the location […] is so good, restaurants around are really good, next to the bus and train stations. 더 보기

Definitely Grand and hotel photos say it all but staff not particularly friendly or helpful, service mediocre (to poor at times) and v noisy. Wooden floors in rooms make it look good but you can hear everything your neighbours are doing in every direction. Our room was at the front with a fantastic balcony and view but the down side was noise from the […] street much of the night. Not a good nights sleep. Excellent location for station and markets and close to the sights. The restaurant is pricey and food very average. Limited menu so don't book half board if staying more than a couple of nights. There aren't enough tables to seat guests for breakfast - 2 out of 3 mornings we had to sit elsewhere and the only evening we ate in the restaurant we had to ask for wine twice and dessert never arrived. We loved this hotel. Very close to the train station and easy walk to all Florence sites. Roof top patio was beautiful! They were very accomadting and packed breakfast when we had to leave early for a flight. Would defiantly stay again.

Right across from the train station and centrally located to all the sights. Very quiet and clean rooms. We loved spending the evenings on the rooftop bar. Lots of levels and great views at night. Very helpful staff.

We were so pleasantly surprised when we got to this hotel in Florence. Very conveniently located by the train station. Our room reminded me of staying in a castle. It was for 3 people, and it was very large with meticulously cared for wooden built in furniture, and high beautiful ceilings. By far the nicest room I had in Europe!

Everything about the Baglioni was great in terms of location, decor....grand classic style, food, staff and size of rooms and bathrooms.I would just phone them and make sure you are not stuck in a room with a bad view and noise from everywhere!

The hotel was awesome for the room and the maid staff were lovely as was the concierge. However staff on front desk were arrogant and unhelpful on all shifts. Outrageous car parking fees as well as a payment now called tourism tax!!! As if the tourists do not pay through the nose anyway!!

I recently toured Italy with my two young daughters and this was one of our favorite hotels. The hotel is in this historic building and feels "grand." The rooms are large with tall ceilings, big windows and high quality furnishings. The shower was the only shower in Italy that was anything like an American shower (this is a good thing). My only complaint […] is the firmness of the bed, but that is simply the way all the beds are in Italy: too firm! The hotel felt very safe, so much so that I had no problem letting my 10 year old girls wander the halls by themselves while I checked email in the lobby. Which reminds me, free WiFi in the lobby is a huge plus and not as common as one would think. The room we had came with breakfast which was also among the nicer breakfasts that I have had during our two week trip. It was a nice spread in an nice setting on the fourth floor of the hotel. As for location, it is so close to the train station you can see the sign "Grand Baglioni" on the roof from the line to buy train tickets. Seriously. Which, in Florence is really nice because being in the center of the city is a huge plus. I also noticed an italian wedding party at the hotel. I stayed at this hotel as an en route stop between Perugia and Milan and it was suitable for this purpose as it is very close to the station. It is not well located for most of the other major sites. The reception staff were helpful, the other staff I dealt with less so. The decor is in keeping with the period of the hotel but is rather dark and heavy. Pleasant, very helpful staff. Small but very adequate room with very nice bath. However 4th floor very noisy as dining facilities are on the floor above. Simply request another floor at check-in.

We were in Florence for only two nights. coming in and out via train. You can take the station's underground exit ramp right under all the traffic and it will let you out at the front door of the hotel. It couldn't be any easier. Wonderful. We stayed on the first floor in a double room and had our own private courtyard with tables. It is centrally located within 5-10 minute walk of all the important sites in Florence. 5 minutes from Il Duomo, what a spectacular site. We will stay again on future visits to Florence.

Stayed for one night. The room was really relaxing. Huge bed, Nice big windows. lots of furniture. Excellent old school decor, with attention to detail. Will go back . One of the friendliest staff I have come across. Amazing 5th floor restaurant. better than average breakfast. We had two rooms booked far in advance of our recent stay, and were given rooms that do not look to have been updated in years. The wood floor was in disrepair, very slippery, and splintery. There were numerous cracks in the ugly green tile in the bathroom, not to mention the ant that was roaming around in there, as well as bugs in the other room. Very […] noisy. Yes, convenient to train station, walked right off, and acroos the street. We found the staff to be a bit on the stuffy side, not very friendly. No smiles. Helpful with a few questions, so that was good. Not very efficient breakfast buffet as far as being greeted and having drink orders taken. I was under impression hotel was non-smoking, or at least we were to have non-smoking rooms, but this must not have been the case, since the noisy neighbors of one of our rooms smoked, and one of our rooms reeked terribly of cigarettes. Excellent location. Within walking distance to from the train station. Close, approximatley a 5 minute walk, to the city center. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was large and comfortable. This hotel has lots of old world charm.

The hotel was very nice and extremely convenient to all sites, as well as the Santa Maria Novella train station. The breakfast on the rooftop restaurant was an added bonus. Hotel staff was extermely helpful. It was fine for us, however, if you are a late sleeper - be aware that you will be awakened by the Santa Maria church bells at 7 AM.

I stayed at this hotel years ago when I was travelling with my parents and the place has really not changed. There is still a very old world charm with the hardwood floors, tall windows and wooden shutters. Breakfast is great. The front desk staff was cordial. This hotel is at a convenient location where one can walk to major sightseeing spots in florence. The hotel reception, conceirge & housekeeping however are not up to standard in terms of hospitaliy. Poor housekeeping as my toiletries are not refilled promptly. On one day, the housekeeper came into my room, picked up the soiled slippers from the bin […] & told me that there were no new pairs.
