We stayed in Athanor Hotel after all other hotels we tried at first were booked out, and we found it to our delight to be the best choice for a stay in Beaune. Pleasant, attractive, spacious, not too expensive, good service, and best of all - a really great location, within walking distance to everything. We recommend it to everyone.

The location of the hotel is super - very close to the restaurants, shops and tasting rooms in town and also the hiking trails through the vineyards around Beaune. We were happy with our room up under the eves and found the old spiral staircase and its low ceiling charming, if a bit problematic when arriving and leaving with our luggage in tow. We felt […] the breakfast was marginal for the price (Cocoa Krispies...really?), even considering the prices in town. We stayed in the family suite on the top floor, spacious , decor tired. Bathroom needs updating , nasty flooring , scorch marks on the walls, light bulbs needed replacing , hard to stand in the shower as the bath is under the eaves. However, beds were good, furnishings fine and location top ! We didn't do breakfast in the hotel.

Located very close to all the major tourist sites in Beaune. Convient to many restaurants. As we arrived late Saturday parking on the city streets wasn't a problem but could be on weekdays as meters only allowed 3 hour parking.

We were very pleased with our stay at Hotel Athanor. The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful. The location is great. The room was basic, but very clean. The room and the bathroom appear to have been recently renovated. We would definitely stay there again.

The Athanor Hotel, Beaune is in a great location with free parking just a 5 minute walk from the hotel door. We had paid for a standard room but when we got to see what our money was giving us we went to reception and asked for a superior. The standard room was quite grim; larger than you'd expect for a European hotel room but very old fashioned, musty […] smelling and the (v.clean) bathroom was straight from the 70's. Yuk. There was only a junior suite room left but the lady on reception very kindly gave us the room for the price of a superior room. The suite was lovely - 2 single beds pushed together to make a large double which was very comfortable. The room wasn't so much larger than the standard but it had character and didn't smell funny! The bathroom was up some wooden stairs and had the most fantastic room of the rooftops of Beaune. Being in the eaves, you couldn't shower so for the first time in my life, I took a bath in a hotel room - it added to the relaxation for sure. The Junior suites are at the top of a very narrow winding stone staircase in the oldest part of the building. i'd certainly recommend you only bring an overnight bag up the stairs with you - anything bigger & heavier would be a topple risk. The road outside the hotel is being dug up which was not a noise issue for this part of the hotel and Beaune's Saturday market was in full swing by the time we checked out. They'd managed to set up stall after stall without disturbing our slumber too. Hotel Athanor is a sweet place to stay in a great location for the shops and restaurants of Beaune - just don't go for the cheap rooms or expect too many frills and you won't be dissapointed. 더 보기

I fully enjoyed staying at this hotel. Very good location, although there were roadworks outside at the time I stayed, so drilling etc. during the day, but it didn't create a problem. They have no car park, so you have to park nearby, but this wasn't difficult. Helpful staff and my room was very spacious.

The check-in experience was the only good thing. Our room was a triple and was very shabby with broken tiles in the bathroom, old bed covers and worn carpet. There are currently extensive road works going on right outside the hotel which start at 6.45am! Also we were on the front of the hotel and the bins were emptied at 4.15am - not a good night's […] sleep. a few hours after leaving the hotel my daughter found that she was covered in bites. 더 보기

les hôtesses sont adorables, l'hôtel très bien situé au centre parfait pour nous. La chambre simple nous suffisait pour une nuit et le lit très confortable. Seul bemol, l'abattant des toilettes bien que propre est à changer ainsi que la moquette propre ms elle a vécu également. A noter également que la salle de bain était propre sauf pr les maniaques […] des fils de poussière entre les poutres. Voilà les 3 pts négatifs. Le petit déjeûner classique mais pr tous les goûts (céréales, pain, jambon, fromage attention au jus d'orange ce n'est pas du jus pressé pour les amateurs). 더 보기

Bedauerlicherweise hatten wir eine Freitag Nacht erwischt in der ein unglaublicher Party- und Musiklärm von der benachbarten Kneipe zu uns ins Zimmer drang. wir konnten deshalb kaum schlafen. Dafür kann das Hotel nichts.

Le personnel est très compétent et les chambres très confortables. Petit déjener de très bonne qualité. Adresse à conseiller si vous souhaitez passer un bon séjour sur beaune

場所と部屋の広さの割には格安だと思います。ただしレセプションは夜間は不在になるし、コストダウン努力が目に見えます。それが嫌な人はやめたほうが良いですが、この価格では充分に真っ当なホテルです。 ひとつだけ苦言、床の布地はいい加減張り替えてほしい。。

Personnel très compétent et accueillant.. Séjour très agréable!

Accueil chaleureux et sympathique, grande et jolie chambre avec poutres apparentes à laquelle on accède par un escalier en pierre, hôtel très bien situé à proximité des monuments touristiques.

Accueil très sympathique, hôtel parfaitement situé au centre de Beaune. Nous pouvons tout faire à pied. Le billard à disposition gratuite des clients est un plus. Je garde un excellent souvenir de ce WE.

Hatten ein Super Dachzimmer mit viel Platz! Im Sommer wahrscheinlich heiss! Bei einem Brand gäbe es hier keine Fluchtmöglichkeiten. War für die Zwischensaison etwas laut. Lärm von draussen und drinnen.

Hôtel très bien situé avec parking gratuit à 3/4 minutes. Accueil sympathique. Par contre, des paquets de cheveux derrière la porte de la salle de bain et dans la baignoire, démontrent un ménage fait rapidement.

Cet hôtel a l'avantage d'être très bien situé (sauf si vous avez le malheur de devoir porter des valises, les parkings étant vraiment loin) dans la jolie ville de Beaune et d'être réellement calme (les rues n'étant pas proches et le quartier, central, totalement silencieux la nuit en tout cas à la saison froide) mais la taille des chambres et celle […] du lit sont très très surprenantes. Ce lit annoncé double est à peine assez grand pour une personne... Le reste n'est pas très flatteur : agencement de salle de bain ridicule, obligation de se tordre si vous souhaitez accéder aux toilettes ou au lavabo, douche sans porte inondant nécessairement tout, petite chambre sentant le moisi (ce qui est peut-être lié). En conclusion j'éviterai à l'avenir cet hôtel tout à fait indigne de ses étoiles (trois ? vraiment ???). 더 보기

El hotel esta muy bien localizado en una bonita esquina de Beaunne. Fue una sorpresa encontrarnos en medio de todos los puntos de interes turistico.

For almost the same roomprice as the highway stopovers from IBIS this hotel offers a spacious nicely renovated room with an excellent bed, just a stone throw away from the city center. Sounds like a deal a bit to good to be true, and indeed it is. The walls, doors and windows are there for decoration as well as they do not block any noice what so ever. […] Spend half the night awake with thanks to night crowd and skipped the remedial morning sleep with special thanks to the frontdesk gobbing away to each other and guests. Hotellet har en perfekt beliggenhed, men derudover er der ikke meget at komme efter. Morgenmadsbuffet'en er ret elendig - kan det kaldes buffet, blot fordi man selv får lov at skære baguette ud i ønsket størrelse? På badeværelset var der badekar med brusemulighed - blot var der ingen afskærmning, hvilket betød vand overalt. Meget snævert overalt - smal, […] lidt hård seng. 더 보기

Nous avons été très déçus de l'hôtel : Accueil peu chaleureux, sec. La chambre (No 308), petite, ne comportait pas de tables de nuit, aucun élément de décoration, ni même de poubelle; et une seule chaise pour deux personnes ? Pas d'armoire ni rien pour déposer ses affaires : tout par terre ! La salle de bain, minuscule (petit lavabo en coin), ne comportait […] aucun crochet ou patère pour accrocher les vêtements, pas de porte-papier WC. Tout par terre ! De plus, la prise électrique n'avait pas de cache et sortait du mur lorsqu'on débranchait l'appareil utilisé (carrément dangereux dans une salle d'eau!). Le petit déjeuner était tout à fait désorganisé : pas de pain ni de jus de fruit ... tout est arrivé petit à petit et dans le désordre. Le rapport qualité-prix ni était pas du tout. 더 보기

Es ist ein schönes Hotel mit freundlichem Personal, das ich sicher wieder Buchen werde.

Grande courtoisie du personnel. Excellent petit déjeuner. A deux pas du centre, facilités de parking. L'occasion de découvrir une très belle ville et une région charmante.

Das Hotel ist perfekt für einen kleinen Stadturlaub! Die Lage könnte kaum besser sein. Parkplätze befinden sich kostenlos 100m entfernt an der Stadtmauer. Leider war das Frühstück bei uns nicht im Hotelpreis mit inbegriffen und mit 12 €/Pers. zwar sehr lecker und reichhaltig, aber etwas teuer...

Ordentliches Hotel in zentraler Lage mit sehr hilfsbereitem Personal. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind in wenigen (Fuß)Minuten zu erreichen. Parkplatz könnte schwierig werden. Früher berichteter Straßenbaulärm ist infolge Abschluss der Arbeiten nicht mehr zu verzeichnen. Fint fint hotel, til den vinrejsende, i hjertet af Bourgogne - til rødvinene i Cote d´or og de store hvide i Cote de Beaune. Stor gratis parkering et minut fra hotellet. Beliggenheden er super, få minutter til torvet og til byens bedste spisesteder: Ma Cuisine, La Gourmadin og Loiseau de Vignes.

Les chambres sont parfois sombres, mais le personnel est très sympathique et le petit déjeuner de bonne facture. Au coeur de Beaune, très bien situé pour une escapade d'un week end.

Hotel uten aircondition i 35 graders varme. Rommet lå på bakkeplan med fortau rett utenfor rommet. Ekstremt mye støy.Da det i tillegg var veiarbeid utenfor hotellet gjorde dette støyen uutholdelig! Et svært lite spennende rom. Vil aldri booke rom her igjen!

Hyggeligt hotel med en god beliggenhed midt i centrum. I gåafstand til mange gode restauranter. Venligt og hjælpsomt personale. Et sted vi gerne vil besøge igen.
