The rooms that are not renovated are musty smelling and the walls are paper thin. Pay extra for the upgraded rooms. We stayed for two night and the first night we were woken by a party in the next room which felt as if it were in our room. We could hear everything. We called the front desk and it was shut down immediately. Good service, but terrible […] room. The next night we were upgraded to a panoramic view room and it was much better! Well the staff were very nice. There was an "incidental fee" that they demanded we pay that wasnt previously disclosed...if it wasnt for that I would have given 4 star all across the board. The rooms are very small and look to have been updated in the 90's but it is totally bearable because of the million dollar view of the Detroit Skyline. Hotel staff went out of their way to accommodate our special diet and in doing so actually seemed genuinely interested instead of bothered by our requests.

Great river view. Front desk was very friendly, helpful and professional. Valet parking service was excellent.

Stayed at the Hilton for concert at Caesar's, very close walking distance, amazing view of the Detroit river and Detroit skyline at night, tv and some furniture a bit dated, AWESOME bed, overall nice place, would go back....

The hotel it self was great, a bit expensive. My complaint is with the restaruant that is attached to the hotel. This is the second time I have been there and I will NOT go back to the restaruant. The food is expensive and the first time I had a hair in my food and the second time I found a egg shell in my omellette and on my fruit plater there was […] mold on the grapes. When I called over the waitress and told her she rolled her eyes like I was lying, she came over and I gave her the fruit she went to show the chef and brought a new plater, but I felt like I was a in the wrong for speaking up. Breakfast cost $47 and I throw out the fruit plater because I thought it might have been tampered with because of my complaint. 더 보기

Everything was good except the bartender working the hotel bar was very slow and seemed more interested in the TV show she was watching than quality service.

Apparently, the stars are mis-aligned, and the pictures in the advertisements were fantasy pictures. Upon my arrival, I was told that the room was nothing like the pictures. (staff was honest) Upon entering the room...the decor and room looked more like a rundown flop house with worn out linens. Apparently housekeeping staff had no other newer linens. […] (staff was frank). Since this was my first stay in Windsor, I decided to speak with front desk about things to do and see in Windsor. I was handed a "visit Detroit" brochure, which was followed by "nothing to do in Windsor, go to Detroit" I guess they never poked their head out the back or side of the building...the museum is there. What about shopping....go to Detroit.... Apparently, the staff would rather be somewhere else, the hotel owners have not bothered to finish upgrading the hotel, and use the delapidated floors as their promotional rooms..good idea, the result is this commentary. Oh yes, the pool....cold, murky, and the hot tub...warm at best with a strong need to be cleaned. Overall, the hotel made the super 8 look like the Ritz, and the staff were honest....like they checked out long before I even arrived. I think I will stick with the Deltas or something in Detroit. As for Windsor....It sure needs something more than the Casino...and if it has something maybe pass it on to the hotels... 더 보기

Valet is offered but when I went into ask for it the Head Valet Parker told me 'it gets very busy' and just to use the self parking. Come to find out later, the self parking is at least a 10 minute walk through an attached building. We were going out that night and it was NOT a good walk in heels. Overall good stay. Shuttle was a plus. Convenient restaurant inside hotel. Also, nice view. However, breakfast was charged to my room by error of the restaurant or by someone else. If you are going to gamble at Windsor, this is a fine place to stay. The parking is a bit of a pain right now so don't use the covered walkway, just go to the ground floor and walk in the back entrance. The rooms are clean but outdated, but I think I was only awake and in the room 30 minutes over 2 days as all I did was come back and crash and then […] get up, shower and head out the door. TVs are outdated, beds and pillows comfy. Very quiet hotel on the upper floors which was surprising given that my room was next to the elevator. Brunch in the hotel is pretty good and the service was good if your looking for a basic eggs, bacon, cereal brunch with juice and coffee for $20. The walk to the casino is easy even when it is cold out, just take a scarf, hat or earmuffs to keep yourself warm. 더 보기

This is a top notch hotel located directly on the Detroit River with beautiful views of Detroit's downtown waterfront. Only quibble: access to the parking garage located across a city street behind the hotel.

this hotel is old and has not been modernized. the staff were few and not helpful. the convenience store was not even open on the weekend. the trash pickup began outside at 2 am!!! disturbing! the hotel looked like it was stuck in time. valet parking was expensive--they kept the car parked in front of the hotel the entire time...we could have parked […] it ourselves! totally disappointed !! 더 보기

It takes 10-15 minutes from parking lot to the hotels. Passing through 7 doors is a headache for couples with small kids. Those doors are outdated not automatic.

The hotel is conveniently located in the City of Windsor. Upon arrival, I was immediately greeted with TERRIBLE customer service. The gentleman at the counter checking me in was extrememly rude. The parking attendant only agreed to "attend to my car" if I tipped him. So I decided to self-park and the hotel attendant did not offer directions as to where […] the parking lot was. Bed too small & uncomfortable w/ air conditioner not adjustable, noisy & blows strongly directly on bed. Bathroom: Shower head has been leaking for quite some time (leaking so heavily; ceiling dripping w/ low shower pressure from shower head. (Suspect toxic mould on the inside walls & ceiling) Room size too small (nice size for a broom closet).

Absolutely perfect. The view from our room was magnificent! Windsor's picturesque waterfront park, and the Detroit skyline were a sight to behold. Included in our special package was a hot breakfast buffet, which was wonderful. The selection was excellent, and the food was fresh. As a native Chicagoan and former meeting planner with the National PTA, I was very familiar with Hilton properties such as The Palmer House and Chicago Hilton and Towers. A call to housekeeping produced extra towels almost instantly. The Crabtree & Evelyn bathroom amenities were wonderful. The service and food in the Park Terrace were exceptional;everything we ordered for 3 days was beautifully presented and prepared. The Sunday brunch was fabulous. Our only disappointment was the absence of whirlpool in the health club due to maintenance. Would abolutely stay there again and recommend to others without hesitation. 더 보기

The hotel lobby was nothing grand for a Hilton. The exterior condition was nice and the renovated rooms were a plus. I really can`t say that I didn`t enjoy myself. On a Saturday they had 1 valet @ 4pm (Check In Time) My car was almost hit sitting out on Riverside Dr...No reply for why 1 person was on duty. My wife & I walked into the lounge passing up a young lady talking at the front desk to her friends, we sat but no one approached us. After waiting 5 or so minutes we approached the front desk and asked if the […] bar was open. The young lady said "I'm Closed! We found that the photo of the riverview room a bit misleading. This picture was of a suite, not a standard riverview room. So this was a bit disappointing upon arrival. Otherwise the hotel is clean and the buffet breakfast was wonderful with lots of variety. The staff are very pleasant.

This was the best view from a hotel room I have ever had. I will never forget it.

The hotel service was very good and friendly. It was very pleasing to find the room cleaning staff very polite to all guest. The riverfront view was beautiful and the location was easy to find. Located a few blocks from the casino and across the street from the boardwalk. We would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

The room was clean and met expectations, but skip the hotel restaurant. I have stayed here on two occasions and had bad experiences in the restaurant on both occasions. The first time the dinner menu items were less than stellar and this time the breakfast was not worth the wait, and I mean the extremely long agonizing wait to get service and the check […] after I was seated. We ordered some food frm the restaurant which was not even warm. Also the bathroom did not seem to have been cleaned like what we were used to. Braught it up to the front desk and they said they could not do much about that

Best view from my room I have ever had.

We have used this hotel a number of times and have been very satisfied. We will be returning to Windsor over the next 2 years as our daughter is enrolled in he University of Windsor and we will be staying here again. The accomodations and staff are excellent.
