It was our second time staying at this hotel. On the first occasion, everything was just about perfect. This time we had a couple of complaints. It took several calls on three different airport/train station courtesy phones to finally connect with the hotel and arrange for shuttle pickup. And then we waited for quite a long time before we were actually […] picked up and driven to the hotel. Hotel staff said it was a busy night. To their credit, they offered much appreciated perks to make up for our long wait. Second complaint was that the carpet in our room was in sorry need of cleaning. Apart from those two things, everything was great - nice staff, comfy room, hearty breakfast! And the morning shuttle back to the airport was quick and efficient. I would raccomand this hotel except for the food, DO NOT EAT in the restaurant it was the most horrible meal of my life. If you are planning to eat there do not choose this hotel.

They've "gotcha", it's just another overpriced adjacent to airport hotel. The restaurant was clean and comfortable but less than a third full, which didn't explain why the service was so slow, my expensive rib eye steak was served on a wooden board, which initially looked nice but caused me to wonder about the hygiene of the presentation, the meal was […] cold before I had finished eating, consequently it is highly unlikely that I would stay there again. Upon arrival (post midnight) I discovered that the hotel was over booked and therefore I needed to be re-sited!! While the night desk el supremo was very efficient and handled matters well it was nonetheless a tad annoying..... Makes it difficult to make this survey totally authentic too!! This may be a Hilton hotel, however it does not meet the standards I have experienced at other Hilton hotels. The maintenance in the room I had was poor, part of the window covering was falling down. Was woken up at 7.40 am by house keeping (i assume) opening the door and trying to come in lucky I had the privacy latch on them. Check in superb,and very accomodating for an early check in,the room was immaculate,and could not find any faults,other than one memner of the front desk team whos english was very robotic,and unable to explain about the wi fi. Other than that the stay was amazing,and i would reccomend to anyone

The Hilton is situated in an ideal setting for quick access to the airport. The free shuttle bus is a big plus and it's driver was most helpful. The hotel itself was clean and very quiet. The only gripe I'd have was the beds were a little hard for my liking. I had an early flight so I can't comment on the breakfast. Would use again!

In room mini bar was empty and the carpet was stained the rest was alright friendly reception staff and resteurant staff Unfortunately, the hotel bar was a little disappointing long island tasted like detergent and had nothing to do with Long Island Overall : good location , friendly staff, good service Poor bar service

A great hotel, excellent service, friendly staff and a lovely breakfast.

Overall very good usual Hilton standards, very clean and as always am pleased with their service. My only concern at this particular Hilton was the shower, at every setting the max shower pressure was disappointing.

Room provided reminds me of a hospital stay where the layout and toilet amenities were more towards a disabled person

Very convenient for the airport, only problem was that the restaurant was being refurbished and the only other place to eat was in a Conferece Room

Excellent room, and shuttle service to the departure gate, only negative was the television and music on in the bar at the same time.

This is the worse Hilton ever! When I arrived, I found a bottle of water that had been refilled and the seal broken. The room was dirty, and looked like it had not been cleaned in months. the drivers of the minibuses used to take you to and airport and majority of staff very pleasant and professional.

Excellant Stay. Very professional staff - no hassle with transfer to Terminal 2.

Stayed NYE to have night away. All staff were friendly and helpful, room was nice and clean although bath needed a better scrub. Overall we very much enjoyed our stay

No ice machines on the floors. We were told to order from room service. We called several times and the ice never arrived. Then we went to the dining room. Ordred a hamburger. It was inedible! Standing in line the next morning for the airport shuttle, we were rudely shoved out of the way by other passengers and had to wait for the next shuttle. On the plus side; great location close to the airport and quick shuttle service. On the minus side, the room was not cleaned properly - bath towel on the floor, used soap in the bathtub and no clean bath towels. Restaurant was ok, service & food was good, but pricey. Overall was ok, but concerned about the room cleaning.

I had very strange hotel housekeeping experiences at this Hilton: One day my dinner table wasn't dusted, another day all coffee supplies vanished, the third day my phone jack was missing, once the bathroom sink wasn't cleaned, some evenings the lights were all turned on, other evenings the room would be pitch dark...just couldn't figure it out. This is one of the worst Hiltons I have ever stayed.

If you want a good quality hotel at the airport, then stay here. Excellent service, they picked us up free of charge from the train station to the hotel, no less than 2 mins in the car, and provided a free shuttle taxi to the airport in the morning ready for our flight. I'm glad we got the room so cheaply on this website. I would have been disappointed if I'd paid the actual room rate. The room was spacious enough, but old and worn with a damp mark on the wall, drab furnishings, and a bathroom that had the mouldiest tiles and the dirtiest/mouldiest shower curtain I'd ever seen. It was late and we were tired and it […] was only for one night, so we decided to grin and bear it. On a positive note the bed was comfortable. The two rooms of excitable young (but old enough to know better) Americans who whooped, hollered, partied hard and generally made a nuisance of themselves in the corridors were a nightmare until the early hours when I finally caught up with them in the hall and told them where to go. After that, silence. Check out was fairly quick, we weren't asked if we'd had a good stay or if everything was alright - pretty much what we've come to expect from Hilton over the years. Found it very unusual and unacceptable that wi fi could not be accessed anywhere in the hotel without paying very high fees as I would have at least expected access in the lobby areas and I had all meals at a nerby hotel which provides this service free of charge. While I was satisfied generally with the hotel I would not conduct lunch or coffee business […] meetings there for this reason. Also the cost of parking the car is very high and if we paid for internet use on top of the cay parking charges it would have been £80+ and this is more than the cost of a nights stay in some good hotels! 더 보기

Staff was courteous, room was clean and spacious. Very convenient to the airport, decent bar/lounge. Little disappointed that we couldn't get free wireless. All hotels should offer it to travellng guests.

Stayed one night after a late flight. Felt very welcoming. Very clean, nice roomy bathroom and the beds and duvets wonderful.

Only stop if desperate, beds are rubbish

We stayed and used the park and fly facility which was very efficient, just turn up and a minivan takes you within minutes. We were given a room upgrade and had breakfast which was very good with excellent hot and cold choices.

I stayed here for one night last weekend and found the hotel to be acceptable but the same as a lot of Hilton's in that it was run down and a bit grubby. Iron mark on the dated carpets, average bed, weak shower and a bathroom that's looking a bit dated. A previous guests pebbledashing in the toilet suggests it had not been cleaned as well as it could […] have been. A complaint at reception was met with no interest apart from an unenthusiastic 'sorry about that'. If you're staying for a few hours ahead of a flight at Manchester airport, the location is good but I'd go for the SAS instead as it's connected to the bridge. Great hotel for travellers using Manchester Airport. Very convenient to all terminals using the free courtesy shuttle bus. I travelled from Terminal 2 and was there within minutes. This hotel was above my expectations. Having read the reviews before making my booking, I was a little apprehensive about staying at this hotel. Made the decision, based on the convinence to the Airport and early departure. Well! I couldn't have choosen better!! The staff were most helpful, they collected our luggage from our room, but in straight into the shuttle bus and helped my husband put on a trolley at the Airport

Excellent staff and excellent breakfast and dinner. Room we were in was a little dated but that didn't really bother us. It was clean except for under the beds! The kids lost some toys under there and when we went under there to look for them it was very dusty with half eaten biscuits (not ours) and other rubbish. But this slight minus was easily made […] up for an otherwise excellent 3 night stay. The breakfast is exceptional. We had an evening meal where the kids ate free (!) and our 3 course meal was not over priced at all for the quality and tastiness of the food. All the staff were super friendly and helpful. We had to ask to change rooms because the toilet would not flush properly. The second room was no better really. All else about the hotel was good and so they just need to upgrade the cistern equipment.

We stayed at this hotel in June and our experience then was less than positive. Happily, this return visit was much improved and it is difficult to fault on all criteria - you would think we were at a different hotel.

nice hotel , clean and tidy , stayed for 1 night , prior to flying , to kerry the next day , had a night out in manchester , easy to get train , nice breakfast

The room and hotel were outstanding. Service in the restaurant could be improved a little, but still ok. We will definitely stay there again and would recommend to anyone.

the room was good but the bathroom could have been better. the bath was marked and there was a smell in it. Expect better with the price that i paid

We stayed at the Hilton the night before our early morning flight to Menorca. The hotel was great and was exactly what we neede. However I felt the restaurant was very expensive although the quality of the food was good. The two factors however did not correlate.. Had a one night stopover on way home from holiday. Arrived about 10pm and had no problem being picked up promptly by courtesy bus. Check in was also quick and easy. We had a family room which was made up with 2 double beds and a chair bed which was more than we needed. Really nice modern room with flat screen tv, tea/coffee etc. There were a couple […] of broken things in the bathroom - the toilet roll dispensers were broken and the shower fitting moved on the wall bt for one night this wasn't worth worrying about and the comfiness and cleanliness of the room made up for it.
