The location is convenient and the rooms are small but adequate. Bathroom was modern and very clean. The big, BIG downside was that the wireless internet never worked for me (first time, and I've used my computer all over the world). The staff made it sound like this was an anomaly until it became apparent that it wasn't. In fact, the whole wifi system […] was down for over a day. We loved our stay & would definately book again, we would like to say a particular thank you to your Receptionist Tim as we turned up a day earlier without realising, & he sorted it all out for us so we could stay a night earlier, he was very kind & we will always be very gtratful for that.

Truly enjoyed our stay at l'Horlage. The staff was friendly and helpful, and spoke excellent English. The breakfast was good (not amazing). The room was typically France-small, but clean and cozy. Well located hotel with comfortable rooms.

Perfect location and friendly, helpful staff. The only negative was the lack of noise-proofing in rooms.

Very clean and well maintained hotel in an excellent location. Rooms are small by North American standards but typical for Europe. Rooms are very clean and nicely decorated. Bath tub was excellent but does not give option of a shower. Quiet at night, Restaurant is not very good with regard to quality of food and there are lots of other choices close […] by. Internet is available in the room at no charge. Parking is about 4 blocks away and fairly expensive. We stayed in some other hotels in cental Avignon and this was the best experience there. 더 보기

Hotel was located near the main square, lots of places to eat. Took cab from TGV station at about 13 Euros (to far to walk) The hotel was a value for the price, would stay again.

This hotel is perfectly located, a great hotel for our stay with our three teenage children. We booked on hotels.com, and then wrote the hotel to confirm the third bed in the room for the children. The twin beds were really comfortable, the double a bit less comfortable, but just fine. The triple room was very large, plenty big enough for three and […] luggage. The double room was very small - but we managed okay. The tub/shower was a hand held wand, too bad it was not a proper shower, would have kept more water off the floor. Breakfast was not included, but their were plenty of places to have a breakfast snack. Car parking was convenient, and the desk clerk offered us the 20% discount, be sure to have them validate your ticket. The free wifi was appreciated. We'd stay here again. 더 보기

basic, clean hotel, great location, no frills. difficult to get there by car, as road has barricades. big negative - elevator broke so we climbed 4 flights of stairs for a day. good hotel for the price.

We really enjoyed this hotel. The location was wonderful. right in the middle of Avignon...Blocks from the Palce de Papas and right next to the Hotel Deville. For once, the room was actually big (for France standards). Additionaly, the hotel staff was very helpful, friendly, and spoke english. the only negative is that it is a hike from the TGV station […] to the hotel. But that is not the hotel's fault. What a wonderful little hotel - of the boutique kind. Narrow winding passage ways, taking you up and down stairs. Which is a little claustophobic. Even our room had stairs to the bathroom. Also, the beds in France don't have top sheets, only quilts, which I find a bit hot - the hotel was quick to fix this and provided us a sheet on request on the first […] night, and with yet another request made up the bed with a sheet on the second night. But it is fresh and clean and quiet - even though our room faced the main drag. The best thing is that just outside the door there are about 20 restaurants, cafes and bars - spoilt for choice. 더 보기

I stayed at the Hotel de l'Horloge for a week and was very happy with my stay. Its place very near the papal palace was superb. Most of the staff was exceptional except for the middle-aged man who was at the desk when I arrived. The hotel is lovely and while I had two different rooms (privilege and tradition), the tradition room was actually more comfortable […] except for space for clothing. The bed and duvet was wonderful and the AC worked perfectly (with lovely breezes if you wanted to open the windows). The major problem I had (which I didn't mention to the staff because I don't think they could have solved it) was internet accessibility. I was given a wifi password and name, and it could access most sites, except for most of those (including email) that required personal passwords. This was a huge problem for me since I was on Avignon for business. I would add to take a little bit with a grain of salt the hotel's own website about what you received there. Neither bed I had was a sleep number bed, although the tradition room's bed was very comfortable. But the publicity makes it sound like a Hyatt or Marriott. It's not, but it is a very nice hotel in a spectacular location. The other members of the staff, both at the desk and maintenance, were lovely. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others with the few caveats I mentioned. 더 보기

This hotel is located within walking distance from the Palais des Papes and the Gare Centre d'Avignon. The room was quite comfortable but we were facing the Place d'Horloge and it was down right loud until about 2 am for a Saturday night. Then at 3 am the clean-up crew started pulling chairs and tables across the cobblestones. We were in Avignon for only 24 hours but got the most out of it because of the location of the hotel. It allowed us to walk leisurely to all the important tourist sites and enjoy the cafe's. We also managed to find excellent dining only a few blocks from the hotel.

The hotel is in a great location - right on the main square. However this does mean that if you have a room on the square side (like I did) it will be a little noisy. Earplugs helped. Hotel was great. It was a bit of a walk from the bus stop but other than that it was a great location. The room was a little pricey, but we slept very well, so it was worth every penny.

Avignon is a beautiful city and the hotel was very central. But the room was dark, a bit dirty and had no shower which is really annoying when it is very hot.

時計台広場近くでわかり易い場所です。 旧市街自体が狭いので何処に泊まっても大差ないような気がしました。 食事はフレッシュなオレンジジュースもあり、金額にほぼ満足。 バスタブ付きなので、くつろげました。 部分的な階段は街全体が古い建物を使っているので しょうがないみたい。荷物が大変ですが。

Services acceptables mais hôtel très ancien qui demande quelques rénovations.

Hotel joliment décoré et bien situé, agréable...Tout bien, sauf que si on dort la fenêtre ouverte et que la chambre donne sur la jolie place, il faut prévoir des boules quies.

Hôtel très bien placé mais l'hôtel manque de charme propre à l'esprit provençal. Une terrasse ou cour auraient été les bienvenues. L'ambiance est assez banale et sans saveur.

Allt fungerade perfekt. Trevlig pesonal. Mysigt hotel. Lite smått och prångigt men väldigt snyggt och fräscht. Rummet var väldigt litet men man sover ju bara där så det är inget problem. Bra mycket centralt läge. Svårt med parkering. Vi fick parkera utanför stadsmurarna vilket iofs inte var något problem. En 5-7 minuters promenad bara. Dyr frukost så […] vi åt på stan. 滞在している日本人が多く、ツアーみたいで少しがっかりです。 また、壁が薄かったのか、隣の日本人が声が出かかったのか、隣の部屋の会話が筒抜けでした。その日本人カップルは、時差ボケで朝方4時半ごろに起きだして、歌まで歌ったときには、怒りが… それ以外は静かだし、とても快適でした。

Hôtel de bonne tenue avec une situation géographique idéale puisque situé à 100 mètres du palais des Papes. Un peu bruyant certaines nuits si on donne sur la place de l'Horloge.
