This is a 5 star hotel and they treat you like it. I don't usually stay in this fancy of a hotel but I had to. Wow, I'm really missing out when I stay at other places. The chambermaid even folded my used underwear. My wife won't even touch those.

I received A-level treatment, from check in to room service to check out. St Regis makes you at home, will be back again.

Hotel is a little older but rooms are nicely maintained, updated. Service is on par of what you'd expect at this class and price range. However, we stayed here on a Friday and Saturday night when they have a live band in the bar. The music resonates upwards out of the western side of the hotel and plays well into the wee hours of the morning. This hotel is five star all the way! The attention to detail they put in everything is unparalleled. I loved every minute of our stay. I will say, the food is quite pricey and there is many restaurants nearby. Highly recommended! Looking forward to our next stay!

This hidden gem is outstanding in every last detail. The service was impeccable, the room was clean and nicely appointed, and the bar was right out of a1930's movie. Nothing but good things to say. This place was classy.

This hotel is wonderful...the staff is marvelous.....they remembered me from my last stay....specifics....they are there with whatever you need before you know you need it!!!

We actually were there for 12 hrs., maybe-- we checked in late (10pm), went straight to bed after a long day of travel & college graduation festivities. Everything was so well appointed, floral arrangements & decor were gorgeous. The service at the St. Regis Houston was excellent. Everyone I dealt with was professional, courteous, and accommodating. The hotel bar had a cheesy band that I wish were not playing (it was a Friday night). When the band stopped playing for their break, they piped in this terrible 70s disco music. If it was not for one very bad experience, I would highly recommend this hotel. Great location, very nice rooms, most service was extremely good. The experience: On the morning following my first night, I awoke to find the bracket which secures the chain lock to be broken. One screw was pulled from the wall and the bracket was bent back about 45 degrees. […] It was blatently obvious that someone had tried to enter the room after I went to sleep (which was 1 am). I reported the matter to security and was informed that "perhaps I didn't notice this when I went to bed". Then they told me that they had checked security footage and confirmed nobody went to my door. There is no security camera on the short corridor where my room is. They also said they performed a lock check and confirmed there was no activity. So I guess I dreamt it all up. I would have thought something as serious as this would have prompted a more serious review and response from management. I followed up several times with the front desk and spoke with another security officer and they had no knowledge that this occurred. I will not be staying there again - not because I am really all that scared about my security. But rather because of how poorly they responded to my concerns. My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon. All the employees were very courteous, and the room was wonderful with a nice view of uptown Houston. One thing that stood out in my mind was that we had left my wife's designer sunglasses in the glovebox, and they were still there when we picked up the car! We were disgusted to learn that a recent service […] visit to a BMW dealership in Houston had stolen her sunglasses of equal price. Good to know St Regis has trustworthy employees. 더 보기

Everything was really easy. Drove up, valet parked ($27/night). The room was upgraded for our special occasion for free. The room itself was really nice. But they nickle and dime you for things like tooth paste and tooth brush, yet they are right there in your room. The staff really is there to help you with everything.

I was able to check in early for my wedding night, so when my wife and I arrived we could go straight to the room. When we arrived, we had chocolate covered strawberries in our room as a congratulations on our wedding. Everyone was extremely nice from the vallet guys to the bell hops. We like all of it from the location which was convenient to everything we were doing, to the outstanding and sincere interest in our comfort. Makes a trip to Houston very special.

Called to request towels at pool, arrived an hour later.

I've stayed here several times, but this is my first since they redid the guest rooms. The rooms are really terrific. Sometimes when you book through a site other than the hotel's, you get stuck with a really subpar room, but not only do I think that the St Regis probably doesn't have any subpar rooms, the room I got was delightful. The rooms are enormous, […] and decorated in a blue-grey palette with brown accents. The sitting area and the headboard are leather, while the chase longue at the foot of the bed is done in a cheetah print. It's very luxe. We had drinks at the hotel bar, which has live music and quite the busy scene on Fridays and Saturdays. The band was great, and the people watching was first rate. The hotel also provides car service to anywhere within a 3 mile radius, so that was great. We had a town car at our beck and call, essentially. Downsides: no self-park, so expect to pay out the nose for valet. The good news is, valet is incredibly fast and responsive, and just plain nice, so if they're gouging, at least they do it with a smile. The pool is a touch small, but the setting and the service is so delightful it kind of didn't matter. All in all, I really enjoy this hotel. I like the quiet, verdant location. I like how the staff knows your name. I like that you can often get really good deals here. All in all, one of my favorite places to stay in Houston. 더 보기
