The hotel is 10 miles away from the 17N which seemed to be the main highway. Although the hotel was amazing, I likely would not stay again because of the distance to the highway.

I was there for the Fiesta Bowl this past weekend, and even though Stanford lost (tear), one of my saving graces was staying at the Phoenician. There are plenty of shops on-site, and a free shuttle to downtown. We ended up renting a car, but the free self-parking literally an elevator ride to our room, was wonderful. We made a last minute tee time […] and secured the twilight rate (amazing deal) - and ended up playing an entire 18 with a 130pm tee time. The course itself is immaculate. Every part of the course is meticulously maintained. I was kinda bummed there wasn't a GPS on the cart. I think if I were to have paid the full price to golf, that would be something I would have expected (but for half the price, I sucked it up). We also ate dinner at JG's Steakhouse at the hotel, and the food was superb. I am not a big fish orderer, but since my boyfriend got the bone-in, I thought I'd get the cod, which was hands-down the BEST cod I've ever had. We coupled the surf and turf with the brussel sprouts, asparagus and the corn fritters (yummy). I didn't have a chance to see/use the gym and spa facilities, but from what I heard from friends also staying at the resort - it's definitely a must do for my next trip. 더 보기

This was our first time to scottsdale, az. Beautiful, but very spendy. On top of the charges there was a resort charge of $29/daily just to use their fitness and wireless. Frustrated me a little not knowing coming into it. Other than that our room was gorgeous and the service was amazing! Pools were stunning and the golf courses on the premises were […] stunning. We had a Superior/Grand deluxe room at the phoenician. This was a big disappointment! Walking to the room was like walking in a cheap apt. building! Rooms are old and the building is old! It is showing age! On the positive side, the hotel location is good and it is very close to the old scottsdale town center (a great place to eat). The hotel lobby […] and common areas are good. May be the suites are good but they are way over-priced! For the superior room price you can stay at the Four Seasons in the scottsdale area, that is really 5 star! We stayed there as well and I highly recommend it, if you are young. Rooms may be difficult to access for older folks as they are scattered all over the base of the mountain. 더 보기

I would like to say it is beautiful, the rooms were amazing and the service was just unbelievable. Everywhere you turned there was someone there to take care of you. You don't even have to leave the resort because they have everything there. If you do there is a car service at your finger tips. My husband and I want to make this a yearly or bi-yearly […] trip! 더 보기

Loved this hotel. It has the most comfortable beds...actually...everything was comfortable! We had dinner at the steakhouse...what a gorgeous view! The food was FANTASTIC! I had the chef's menu with the paired wines. It was SOOO GOOD! You won't be disappointed...so order it! It was a great time! :)

The Phoenician is a first class hotel. The ambiance is both inviting and serene. Everything about the hotel was top notch including the employees, cleaniliness, and shops. It was defintely worth the stay and I do plan on visiting frequently over the years. Highly recommend!!!!!

A top class resort with wonderful service and staff. The property is beautiful and we will be back in the spring to enjoy the 9 pools and world class golfing. Very close to Fashion Square Mall and Scottsdale's night life.

Great resort, very nice grounds and pool. We had a terrific view from the balcony of our room. The only negative is that they charge to use the exercise facility and for wireless Internet, which just seems a little cheap considering that this is such a nice resort

This was a beautiful resort and the service was impecable on all levels!

I just once again would like to say I stayed at this Hotel to golf, and was just so disappointed that it was not available. Thought that Oct. would be a perfect time to be in AZ. as I found out many of the courses are seeded and closed at that time.

BEAUTIFUL GROUNDS AND POOL. HOTEL STAFF ENGAGING AND THOUGHTFUL. FOOD IN HOTEL RESTAURANTS TOO EXPENSIVE FOR FOOD QUALITY. ALSO 29 DOLLARS A DAY FOR VALET PARKING IS RIDICULOUS CONSIDERING COST OF STAYING THERE.

This hotel was FANTASTIC and worthy of its reputation. The grounds were beautiful, the room was large, the huge bathroom had 2 sinks!, the balcony was roomy and had a great chaise lounge, the flat screen TV was the largest I've ever seen in a hotel. Twice daily maid service was so pampering! When we drove up to the hotel, we were instantly greeted by […] a valet who parked our car and our bags were brought to our room while we checked in. We had afternoon tea, which was delectable. Service was amazing throughout our stay - the staff are very friendly and courteous. Poolside service was impeccable -- someone would automatically bring you towels (which were huge and thick - wow) as well as a pitcher of iced water, which they would refill periodically. Pool area was beautiful, although I was a little surprised at the relatively few number of pool chairs given the size/capacity of the hotel. I loved that there were 2 separate closets! My only minor negative is the bathroom door were slatted (not solid) so it provides little to no sound barrier. Kind of annoying. 더 보기

This was truly an amazing experience. We stayed 3 nights at The Phoenician and enjoyed every moment. Jacque at Concierge helped set up an early morning golf outing for my father and I last minute (& at 50% regular rates!) and Mark at the front desk helped us get new cards and purchase additional rooms when we couldn't bare to leave the Resort. We had […] a complimentary junior suite upgrade due to my Starwood account and enjoyed the beautiful lobby, rooms, golf resort, and the 8 pools on-site. Also, it is extremely close to Downtown Scottsdale (Fashion Square Mall) as well as just 15 minutes from the airport. Would definitely recommend staying here if you are looking for ultimate luxury and comfort while staying in the Valley of the Sun! - Jasen 더 보기

The Phoenician is a beautiful property located in a gorgeous area close to everything. Hotel is kept very well maintained. Would not dine at restaurants on property as prices are extremely inflated (we stay at 5stars all the time - can compare) . i.e. Cocktails run from $15-$16 each - not price listed anywhere. Food and service were excellent. Two bowls […] of onion soup delivered by room service was $42. Very small bowl and have had much better. One main issue is the cooling system of the property. NO REFRIGERATED AC - only Swamp/Evap Cooler making stay extremely uncomfortable with high humidity in rooms. Sheets, carpet, soggy from humidity. Had tech come in to check but he stated that many guests complain about this and asked we mention it to guest services. We promptly did. Although the property is fantastic, I do not believe we will stay again in the summertime. 더 보기

1. Room was extremely aged upon arrival into room. Furniture seemed very old. 2. A big wet spot that i stepped into in between the beds at arrival. 3. Carpet in the room was so dirty that my families socks were black after 30 mins of being in the room. 4. Called front desk, they're response. all the other rooms were booked. 5. A musty odor in the room […] the whole stay. 6. A yellow colored discoloration on the sheet. Really grossed us out. 7. Service by the mother of pool area was very slow and they didn't even acknowledge us for 20 mins of being poolside. Maybe i feel because we are of korean descent they were not assisting us because it seemed others around us were being helped out just fine. 8. A waiter by the pool was very discourteous to us but went as far as to yell at one of my children for doing a little horseplay in the pool. i understand pool safety is important but not the way he handled the situation. My wife felt offended and she was the only reason that i didn't knock him out. 9. Spent first 3 days at the mother of pearl pool and then on the 3rd day of our stay was told that we couldn't be here with kids at this pool and that we needed to move to the upper pool which was designated to be for kids. 10. Waited for bellman for 30mins at check out and never showed up so i moved the luggage myself because i just wanted to lease asap. I am not a person that complains much and it takes alot to happen for me to even write a review but this experience needs to shared. Was very dissapointed with our whole experience at the resort. My wife and spent our first wedding anniversary there 9 years prior and it was first class all the way and that was the reason we returned but will never do it again. 더 보기

I love this hotel! The best of both worlds, very elegant and very comfortable at the same time. Easy days and elegant nights. I will most certainly stay here again.

the canyon suites are truly magnificent. the service is beyond compare. try the turkey burger and bellinis by the pool, you'll never want to leave.

Outstanding hotel

The hotel grounds are very well maintained and gorgeous to look at. The evening movie by the pools was a fun way to spend some time together as a family. We ate at the Italian restaurant for dinner and was very pleased with our meals. The service and the food were fantastic!! I would recommend this hotel for anyone!

Stayed at the hotel for five days over the July 4th weekend. Hotel staff was great. The view from the lobby's balcony for the 4th included a BBQ and a view of nine different cities, in the distance, displaying their fireworks. The Steakhouse on top of the hotel was very well done with its service and food. The shops in the hotel were a bit pricey.

From the moment my family arrived through the security checkpoint, the first-class service was impeccable. The valet greeted me by name - the guy in the security gate must have called ahead to let them know we were coming. Check-in took only moments and we were driven up to our room in the Casita's section via golf cart. And since the Casita's section […] is self-parking in front of your room, the valet drove our car around and parked it for us. That was a nice touch. The room was large and well-appointed with a beautifal view - a fish filled stream with bunnys feeding next to it. The enourmous pool slide was just out our back door and had a pool attendant, George, who couldn't be better at his job if he tried. Anything he could do for us, he would think of it and do it without us even asking - water, ordering food, etc. He remembered our son's name each day and looked after him as if he was his own. Room service was outstanding and went the extra mile to get a sandwich my wife wanted from the poolside grill even though it wasn't on their menu. The maid staff was exeptional - the nightly turn-down was really appreciated. If there was a negative, I really can't think of it - maybe someone could have manned the Kid's Club so I could have dropped my son off while I got a massage. It was closed so my son had to go to the spa with me - he did, however, enjoy every minute of it. Anyway, it was a hotel experience enjoyed by everyone - kids and all. 더 보기

The hotel was absolutely wonderful! It was true luxury. Our room was in a perfect location with a view of the lush grounds. I would highly recommend the Phoenician!

The Phoenician is a luxury resort and deserves its 5 stars rating. The hotel grounds and rooms, are kept at top condition. In terms of value for money I feel that the hotel is way ahead compared to similar resorts I had a chance to stay in.

It was a great trip, pool, golf, tennis and cocktails. The Steak and Italian restaurants were both great. Don't complain about spending some $$$ it is all worth it at this place. Evening cocktails on the lobby veranda over looking the multiple pools at sunset is a nice touch! Slept like a king all 4 nights.
