This hotel was more like home....

truley a horriable experiance!! the bed was gross, the shower moved back and forth sounded like it was going to crash thru the floor, really scary, till it was funny because I could hear the next rooms tub sounds coming through the wall, along with the other sounds too! nice kitchen area ,nice table-work area until you pulled the 2 desk chairs out to […] sit on" NOT" had to put towels over both chairs to sit down to work or eat, couldn't get fresh coffee,claimed you could get coffee around the clock in the Lobby- downstairs "NOT" before 6 am, and what they called breakfast well, didn't start until 7:00am, we left for work about 6:15 everyday without our coffee drove 40 minuets to a storm stricken area to help Catastrophe victims for 9 days returning to the hotel about 8:30 every night, keys wouldn't unlock the doors, if it unlocked the outside door then it woldn't work on the room door, everytime we had to have the keys reset the evening management acted so annoyed like we were so goofy, until one of the evening clerk said the two key lock system never worked properly, and would cancel each other out! but the worst thing was coming in from work on Friday evening about 8:00 pm to be told we were being put out of the hotel because we didn't make a new reservation!! we had booked for weekly rates with an unknown check out date because of the work we do we don't know how long we will work in one area and then maybe go across the country to another area, we had been in an Extended stay in Bakersfield ,Ca. for 34 days and then drove to Kentucky. for this storm event. I've lived and traveled around the country since Katrina and have stayed in to many hotels to remember; this was the worst!!!!!!! Management for this hotel was rude, crude and down right ugly to just about everybody, when we called the district manager she never returned the calls, but the Manager did call to say we had to leave because she had sold the room for the sporting events in town ; I was told it didn't 더 보기

Good clean room with plenty of space. Everything works. Only detractors were no business facilities and site lists WIFI but you have to pay for it - a bit misleading. Plus TV channels had limited selection for children.

Convenient Location, courteous staff but rooms are in a major need of improvment. Old mattresses and furnishings in need of replacement. Worn out.

Over Thanksgiving I enjoyed two nights in the motel and was thrilled with all aspects. Quiet, very clean, and comfortable with friendly staff. I'll stay there again~!

The biggest concern with my hotel stay was that I specifically reserved a non-smoking room upon my reservation and was given a smoking room, which was completely unsatisfactory...also, because the hotel was completely booked, they couldn't make any restitution. I was stuck with a smoking room, and couldn't do anything about it. Very disappointing that […] my non-smoking reservation was taken but completely ignored. Not what I expect when I make a reservation and completely unprofessional. Also, in addition, I would also comment that the condition of the hotel was not well-maintained. The furniture was old and worn and it looked dilapidated. Even the apparent "amenities" were lacking. They said they provided a continental breakfast, but when I got there only minutes after the breakfast opened, they were out of bagels, and their only offering was some terrible coffee and some store bought muffins- not very impressed. 더 보기

These hotel was very very nice. Next time I stay over anywhere I am going to try and find one of these hotels. Having the kitchen also helped with expenses. We just brought food and made it in the room. Beds were comfortable even the sofa bed was. Staff was friendly. Room was very clean.

Overall, I was extremely satisfied with my stay at Homestead, Louisville. The room could have been a bit cleaner (there was something sticky on the kitchen floor and the dresser that the television was sitting on was very dusty). This hotel was clean, the room was nice, very good value for the price, the service was friendly and prompt..and free (good) coffee in the lobby around the clock! I would stay here again if ever in the area.

This Hotel was very clean the staff was so nice and very helpfull they even helped me find a lower rate for the room i had booked on line right there in the hotel lobby and upgraded me to a very nice room because the room i was getting was not available, I would recommend this hotel to any one very nice and clean the bed was very firm if you like firm […] matresses this will be the hotel for you very nice . 더 보기

The price was affordable (cheap). That was the one upside to the stay. I arrived 2 hours prior to check in time and asked if they could get me in sooner. They said, "we'll call you as soon as it's ready." So, I sat in the lobby and did some work. An hour and a half later, I approached the same person at the desk and he had forgotten. He said he'd check […] and get right back with me. So, the official check in time approached and I went back to the desk. The person wasn't even there anymore and my room wasn't ready by official check in time, so they had to find another room for me. I was there 2 hours early and they couldn't get a room ready by check in, cmon! 더 보기

We stayed here for Derby week this year and it is an easy 15 minute drive to Churchill Downs. The room was very clean and even included a kitchen. The location is right in the middle of a bunch of other hotels and fast food so we felt very safe staying here.

We throughly enjoyed our stay. The staff was very helpful, the suite was a pleasure to stay as it was well equipped with all the items necessary to make our stay comfortable. Super clean inside and very clean throughout the building. I am going to make every effort to stay at the various locations of this hotel throughout the US this coming year. Checking in was easy, but the room was old and anequated. Bed was horrible. Outside the building aesthetically looked very inviting as well as the lobby and lounge area. The room was like a Motel 6 or Days Inn. Will not be staying there again. No more Homestead Suites for me. Do not recommend.

It is difficult to accurately rate this hotel entirely on its own merits because of the horrible experience we had 2/3 of our nights. We were on the first floor next to the parking lot. One night there was a loud domestic altercation in the parking lot. The next night there was screaming, fighting, and throwing of objects in the room above us at 3am. […] The pool was rarely supplied with clean towels, the dishwasher failed to rinse soap off of the dishes and the AC unit was only in the living room. That means that when the bedroom door is closed, it gets very hot while sleeping. The kitchen unit had very few plates and glasses, only one pot for cooking and no knives. The front desk was indifferent to most of these concerns. When I asked for additional pillows, I was told I could have one. Finally I convinced him to give me two. 더 보기

No frills but for what we paid, I felt the accommodations were very good. Hotel was clean and everything was in working order.

My family traveling from out of town have yet to be dissapointed with their stay here. I always book them rooms at the same hotel as they really enjoy not only the room and what it has to offer, but also the surrounding establishments. We will continue to utilize your hotel for our family.

This hotel is great if you are on a budget but next time I will pay more and stay in a better place. The hallways had bad odors and the rooms had a slight musty smell as well. Carpets and chairs were very worn and I felt the chairs were too dirty to sit in. It is okay for the price paid but for $20 more I could have had a much better room right across […] the street. 더 보기

Title says it all.......not a Hilton or Marriot but only 1/2 the price! Just a place to sleep, not to live.

Stock in trade extended stay hotel but with great cleanliness and a good price. Very nice "pet friendly" policy (don't care what size/type dog).

We were house hunting and it worked fine.

Although we called the day before our arrival to check on the status of the pool, we arrived and were told that the pool was not open. The two children that had been promised a swim after good behaviour on a car ride were very disappointed. We had also asked about what was included in continental breakfast only to learn at check-in that the breakfast […] was not available on weekends. Hotel also has smoking and non-smoking rooms across the hall from each other and the hallway reeks of smoke. 더 보기
