March 01st: Grand re-opening for Year Season 2012
The elegant Hotel Santa Caterina, a superb, privately owned retreat in a stunning location, is stylish and luxurious with service to match. The hotel is situated at the summit of an extensive property, which begins along the Amalfi Drive and tumbles down to the water on a series of bougainvillea cascades, with vast lemon and orange groves covering numerous natural terraces. All guest rooms have air conditioning, telephone, refrigerator, hair dryer, satellite television, and a private terrace. The suites are the most striking of all, each fully equipped with a Jacuzzi and hand-painted ceramic tiles.
New acquisition and recently completed Villa il Rosso with two Senior Deluxe suites A1S and two deluxe rooms A1K, subject to availability.
Dining In
The restaurant, bar, and lounge all offer breathtaking views over the water. Evening meals are graciously served in the main restaurant, where marble and lapis floors and panoramic vistas are the soothing complement to the featured special local and international cuisine. In peak season, lunch is served at the poolside restaurant and pizzeria.
Recreation and Health
Two elevators whisk guests down to the swimming pool and bathing platform built at sea level. A gymnasium is located just above the swimming pool area. SPA and wellness centre with massage, sauna, Turkish bath and Scottish shower.

"역에서 좀 멀긴 하지만 매우 만족스러운 호스텔"
2011년09월22일에 대한 Hotels.com 고객의 이용 후기소렌토역에서 15분 정도 걸어야되고 중간에 계단도 있어서 도착했을때, 떠날 때 캐리어 갖고 움직이기 좀 불편하긴 합니다. 그러나 역하고 사이가 소렌토 번화가라서 구경할 것도 많고 사람들도 많아서 전혀 위험하지 않고 오히려 재밌어요. 짐 많을때 제외하고는 오히려 걸어다니면서 구경해서 더 좋기도 합니다. 호스텔 더블룸에서 묵었는데 실내 객실은 큰 편이고 매우 깨끗해요. 화장실 역시 넓고 깨끗합니다. 용품도 잘 갖춰져 있구요. 가격도 저렴하고 직원들도 친절하고 매우 만족스러웠습니다. 다시 간다면 여기서 또 묵고 싶어요.

A charming cluster of pastel houses, shops, cafés and watchtowers, Amalfi seems little more than a village. However it was a great naval power and a wealthy trading republic in medieval times. Its dramatic setting in jagged cliffs cloaked in vineyards is best seen from a boat. Amalfi’s star turn is a gorgeous cathedral with great bronze doors and lacy cloisters. The nearby village of Atrani is quiet and pretty, with a fine Byzantine church.

We loved our stay at Santa Caterina. The views are priceless and the staff is wonderful. I will say that we could not afford to eat anything at the hotel more than the complimentary breakfast (which was excellent). We enjoyed the 10 minute walk down to the square and had many lovely evenings walking around downtown Amalfi. A plus was the in room jacuzzi. […] After spending all day walking, a hot bath was perfect. We travelled to Pompeii, Capri and Ravello. Heaven on Earth!!! 더 보기

Hotel sits on cliff with a great view of the Mediterranean Sea. Partial view of Amalfi town. At bottom of cliff is the hotel's swimming pool and work out area where you can take a dip in the Med. A "cool" setup that is impressive and very secluded and made our stay memorable. Swimming at base of cliff in the Med, sipping lemonade (a local speciality), […] we forgot about sightseeing for a couple days!!! Our room was average size (we had a day bed for our teenage daughter), but I noticed that rooms can really vary in size, probably due to being built on the side of a cliff....so adds a flavor of funky room shapes. Modern bathroom (shower seemed to 'leak' alot, but that is the case with most showers outside U.S. as the rest of world is still figuring out how to contain water inside a shower :). The hotel decor was beautiful using local ceramic artwork. The open terrace resturant is A+. Dinner was good, though as is our experience with hotel resturants it's good, not "oh wow". But the decor and view from the terrace resturant is "oh wow", so ought to do one meal, wither breakfast, lunch or dinner....won't go wrong. Other than the catacomb hallways to your room (which again is a function of being built on a cliff, but you are rewarded by an interesting array of different antiques), the place is a 5-star hotel, from staff to room to taking a dip the Med for a couple days...won't g wrong staying here. 더 보기
