Overall happy with my stay i was there to celebrate my daughters birthday party, at check in we let them know that and that there would be lots of little girls running around, and there was not an issue as soon as guest arrived i recieved a call to the room saying i had to many people in the room, i explained they were only there for the party and would […] be leaving, so we went on with the night, only to be told again 5 minutes later the same thing we had to many people in the room, i then asked your managment why they did not say anything to me at check in when i told them what mine and my guest intensions were with the party, i could not get an answer for that, all they would say is that i had to many people in the room, so i then asked if i could finish up the party real quick and the extra people would be on there way, and i was told no. So i then asked my guest to leave because i did not want to ruin my daughters night. Then we were approached by a group i believe they were the LIONS club, and asked to stop playing a shuffle board game because they had a showing the following morning, and we were in the way, then we were asked by your managment to stop playing, which would have been fine if they were showing but they were not , they were not showing to the following morning. 더 보기

Great location & price if going to Notre Dame game! Nice bar & restaurant on site, plus many great pizzerias in the area.

The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly and helpfull. We stayed there for a ND football game and the drive was fairly short. The only thing was the time difference. The hotel was in Central standard time and the ND stadium was on East coast time..Oh. well....

Chose this hotel for it's proximity and price in comparison to the hotels in South Bend during a game weekend. It's a little difficult to navigate (the hotel itself). There was a clown convention going on while we were there which was kind of an interesting treat. Just a one night stay, and it was decent.

More attention really needs to be taken on cleaning the rooms.

Lots of loud, drinking people, the whole hotel from the main entrance on smells like a pool room, flying bugs in the bathroom, old building, unfriendly staff... won't do this again!

Quiet room. Good shower nozzle. Water not soft - soap rinses off easily. Water drinkable - no water softening chemical taste. Comfortable bed.

I grew up in LaPorte and was there to visit family (from very far away). I was expecting a decent hotel, but got something quite different. Don't trust the pics-the hotel is no where near as nice. The interior is exactly the same from 20 year ago! Our FIRST room smelled so bad, we bought febreeze. Turns out the air conditioning had leaked so much on […] the carpet, it started to smell. Second room had coffee grounds in the sink and the sliding glass door was open! Rooms keys always stopped working and they always forgot to give us new coffee packets when they cleaned the room! Some of the staff was friendly, but there is one person there who was just nasty to us when we asked for the golf clubs for the kids. No room service on Sundays (even though the menu says there is). Just horrible. I was embarrased for my husband to see this hotel in my home town. 더 보기

SINCE 1990, I HAVE STAYED AT THIS HOTEL EVERY TIME THAT I'VE COME TO LA PORTE, WORKING ON MY GENEALOGY. I TRAVEL ALONE AND I'VE ALWAYS FELT SAFE STAYING THERE. I HAVE NOT RUN INTO ANYONE WHO WAS NOT PLEASANT TO SPEAK WITH, IN ANY PART OF THE HOTEL. IT'S GREAT TO BE ABLE TO LEAVE YOUR ROOM AND HAVE SUCH A LARGE AREA THAT YOU CAN JUST WALK AROUND AND […] GET SOME EXERCISE WITHOUT GOING OUT OF DOORS IN THE HEAT OR RAIN. THERE ARE TABLES ALL AROUND THAT YOU CAN SIT AT AND WATCH KIDS PLAYING OR SWIMMING. EXCELLENT PLACE FOR FAMILIES TO STAY. 더 보기

The front desk staff was extremely nice and helpful. They were also very plesant whether chit chatting or asking questions. The rooms were a little on the shabby side but overall, not bad at all. The carpets were a little stained and what looked like coffee stains on the wall by the coffee maker. The only issues I had was one day (I was there 5 days) […] I left the room about 10:30am and when I returned after 8:00pm that evening, my room had not been touched by housekeeping. There were a couple of days the coffee packs and glasses that were not replaced. Over all the stay wasn't bad. 더 보기

nice, close to the water and friendly customer service...very good breakfast buffet!

Map quest got me lost and I called the hotel and the nite receptionest was anazing. When I did get there she was soo friendly and the hotel was very nice. The pool was and inside/ outside and was very nice. The room was very clean. It really didnt matter that it was out dated. I was totally please with my stay

I picked this hotel mainly because it is dog-friendly. If you have a pet they charge a 50.00 per stay fee and you have to stay in a smoking room, however. Not a bad hotel, but a bit pricey considering it could use some updating, especially the bathroom.

Bed was not made up, on check in. Called desk and had to go back down to pick up a new room number and entry card. This time, at least the bed was made but the pillows were not placed on the bed, they were in a chair. Did not make us feel comfortable that rooms had been cleaned. Complements not only for the staff, facility, and the service, but even the food was great at room service, and reasonably priced. My only request would be to open the swimming pool at six AM for adult exercise swim. Right now it's closed until 10 am, so that makes it impossible for convention goers to get a workout in before starting business. The […] gym facility was very good too. 더 보기

This was a nice room. Nothing extra really, but it was clean and had all the necessities.

I was extremely disappointed in this hotel! Everything is very old and inconvenient. The rooms bed were old/ soft and uncomfortable. There was a wet towel hanging up in the bathroom when we arrived and there were stains on the sheets of one to the beds - did not use that one. If I had not been so tired, I would have left the hotel ( I really should […] have) They do not offer any comp breakfast and no one seemed to care if I had an enjoyable stay on the way out. We stayed over for a competition at the high school, so the location was very convenient. The staff were very busy, but still managed to sort our reservation problem - evidently, management did not receive our reservation paperwork...(always chekc directly with your hotel, it saves time). Never made it to the pool, but it looked nice. A big plus with my hubby - the bar allows smoking! Not good for non-smokers, but he was quite happy. The band was great, as well. (live music on weekends). Did not smell any smoke from the bar in the lobby or anywhere else in the hotel, so that was a plus. Pool smell strong on the rooms near the pool, but you get that when there is a pool. If it bothers you, try to request a room away from it. All things considered, I would stay again. 더 보기

Hotel was comfortable and well-maintained. Very family oriented - with swimming pool and recreation room. Our king bed was very comfortable and our room quiet despite the fact that it was right next to the ice machine & elevator. .

This is a beautiful hotel with an excellent restaurant. The staff was very helpful and courteous. I booked a smoking room even though we don't smoke because that was what was available with a king bed. I've stayed in smoking rooms before and there is usually a lingering smoky odor but this room reeked of smoke. Overall, the hotel was great. The only reason I gave it 4 stars overall is because the hot water in the shower took FOREVER to warm up. I thought there was something wrong with it but after a few minutes it finally did warm up.

The hotel was old and the interior of the lobby and the pool area were noisy, but the room itself is clean and the beds were very nice.

Hotelli,lähinnä eteisalua ja hissi ,olivat todella tunkkaisia.Haju oli merkillepantavaa.Liekö kyseessä home tai vaan aikansa palvelleet kokolattiamatot!?Henkilökunta tosin ole ystävällistä.
